Ontario, ONT, is the closest airport. There's Palm Springs and Orange County also. Hate the OC drive though. Have you ever been to so cal?

Does hobby boy ( I assume that's the pilot) fly all over? Does he do Jamaica? If so, lucky girl. But geez how much is the fuel?

its a lot so i always weigh out a traditional flight over his fuel.......surprisingly a lot of the time its cheaper to fly "air mike" lol.....but the biggest problem is the carribean because of passports and landed immigrant status so i don't fly "air mike" to mexico or jamaica.......anywhere US or Canada is ok though (passport wise)........we flew to bahamas last fall and wound up leaving and crossing over to the florida keys where my best friend lives because they were so sticky about mike's "status" and were refusing to hanger the plane........oh god i gotta go to bed.......i had a long night last night after the whole "cell phone incident" and my ensuing guilt is plagueing me!!!!!

Lini, I work full time at a box plant, I check in & order the print & cutting dies for the boxes. I'm a consultant fo Pampered Chef for Fun! It gets me out of the house and I meet new people! Although I must admit I haven't been getting out much lately. Will have to work on that!

I finished Rads tonight and am drinking a Melon Splas Cooler to celebrate, wish it could be something stronger.

Hey do any of you have a Grocery Outlet near you? They have great deals on wine! I can usually get a nice bottle for 3 to 6 bucks! When I find one I like I go back and buy a case!

hey shel, I have read and witnessed first hand, they come and they go. I am 18 mos post tx and think I am just a little more sparse in the brow/lash dept. I think thsings are finally stable. When they first grew back, they were fuller than ever.

Did I miss something? When did we get moved to the HUMOR forum? Didn't we used to be in "high risk"?

Yep. Noticed it first thing this morning. Perhaps because we weren't on 'topic' of high-risk? Whatever. Sometimes I just feel like I'm being scolded/punished but then this is not my web site but someone else's so I have no say in what goes on.

Anyway, no drinking for me tonight as I'm working the late shift but I'll be around tomorrow night. Hope you're not too lonely Shel! Perhaps fantasies of Dave will help?

hobbie boy just called......he is already on the new brunswick border......now lets all laugh together.....he camped out last night in montreal, just had to buy all this camping gear to be a "real adventurer"...... one night and already he is "never camping again" and gave all his camping gear to the family on the campsite beside him before he got on the road this morning.

i think he was a little spooked all by himself lololol!

What's this thread doing down here? LOL Anyways, about eyelashes. I've noticed recently that mine are getting long again, actually pretty long. I finished chemo Feb 05. Eyelashes originally grew back so long, lush and had a curl to the end of them. (always had stubs before chemo). Then, they got sparce and stubby again, fairly quickly. A few months ago, noticed they were looking pretty bad again, and just recently, noticed they are longer than ever. I guess this must come and go. Maybe we notice such extreme changes cuz we literally lost them all at the same time and regrew them all at the same time, so they're on the same growth cycles??? Does that make any sense?

glad to hear that its "normal"........at first i thought maybe it was because i'd had my hair highlighted because the bleach really bothered my eyes and then about 4 days later the lashes started coming out like crazy!

the growth cycle theory makes perfect sense.........geeze i sure hope that once i have nails again they don't "re-fall off" too!!!!

what a fun ride this is!!!!!

So, Shel. You have a daughter. Do you tell her how to think? Some of the women here are so narrow-minded. I raised my kids to be free-thinkers. I don't want them to be clones of me. I want them to come to their own opinions on topics like abortion, death penalty, pre-marital sex, religion, and all the other debateable, non black or white issues. If they ask my thoughts on topics, then I'll give it to them, and it's their choice to agree or disagree. Am I weird?

Shel, I kind of thought that's what you were referencing but I didnt want to assume!

Oh, you see, I don't eat balanced meals so supplementing with my 'laundry list' helps. Actually I don't take them all every day but most days I do. And I switch things up. During rads I was taking astralagus root and ashwaghanda (sp?) but don't anymore. And if I run out of one thing I might not take it for a week until I buy another bottle. Perhaps I over-do it, perhaps not. I feel good and for being 14 months post-chemo I look quite healthy (when I'm not hung-over!) so maybe I'm doing the right things?

Actually (and this porbably belings on another thread) I do think that eliminating high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils has really made a difference in how I feel. Used to be addicted to coca cola (not Pepsi but Coke) and now I only drink the Whole Foods brand as every other one I've seen has HFCS in it.

Anyway back to drinking! I take the milk thistle as it's for the liver! ;p

not wierd at all........you're right on the money! i actually find it "funny" that the poster of that sentence has the inability to see that this was also politically incorrect. as my kid would say "whatever" (eyes rolling here) lol!
