You girls have been letting me down lately. What's up with everyone? Looks like the only ones having some fun are Donna with her blowup and Shel with Mr. Petty. What's up with that?? Make that Shel with Mari..

Lini, too much excitement in my neighborhood last night to spend much time on the computer. Lost dogs. Two labs and a beagle. I caught the beagle and then had to wait for animal control who then located the owner (who lives about 2 blocks away) and then we waited for him to show up but the labs, well, one was found but the other wasn't. They were actually in my back yard which has a chain link fence but I couldn't catch them and I feel bad. I only hope the one lab got or gets home eventually. I live near a busy highway and the labs were in near it early in the evening. That was my evening. Trying to catch dogs!

Well, doggone it!! What's up with all of the labs? Must be the full moon. Jon's ate her son's cell phone. The lost ones kept Janis from drinking. Mine's not feeling very good. Hope they settle down.

My gosh you girls have been busy!!!!! I'm so far behind on all the chit and chat. I've been busy getting ready to go on Short Term Disability, next wednesday I'm having a full hysterectomy, taking it all out. So i'm trying to get work all set for my absence.

I plan on doing some serious drinking this weekend before the big event. I'm going to try and catch up on all the past entries.

Donna honest to God you are a hoot!!!!!!!! Love the new pic.

Well girls drink up and enjoy. I will see you all on the flip side of menopause!!!!!!!!!!! wahoooooooooooo

Randi - good luck on your "crossing over to menopause" surgery. I'd drink up this weekend too. Be sure and keep us posted.

Shel - sounds like the concert was great! Let's all get together and go see our boy Tom! WooHoo!

Janis - I'm an animal lover and all, but don't let your Dog Patrol duties get in the way of drinking (just kidding)

Hope everyone's having a good day! It's 150 degrees here AGAIN today, which just gives me an excuse to have a cool adult beverage when I get home (like I NEED an excuse)

    Cheers!

Well, Ladies, no drinking for me tonight (again!) as I have to get up at 4:30 tomorrow morning to be at work by 6 a.m. and I'll be taking my Ambien in about an hour so I can be asleep by 8:30 or so.

I didn't sleep well last night (too much excitement and stress) so I'm definitely accepting some help tonight.

Stay cool and I'll be back tomorrow night!

Hi Shel- Thanks for asking. It was yesterday. I was seriously thinking my whole recon. isn't meant to happen. I thought for sure that after 6 months bilat, I would have had my expanders in and have at least 2 month of fills by now. But my PS is extremely conservative, a good thing, he says that he's never had a re-do. Anyway, my last appt. 3 weeks ago was a bust. Drove out there on the crazy CA freeways and he had a family emergency. Finally got another appt for yesterday and got stuck in traffic. It took me 45 minutes to drive 3 miles. A normally 35 minute drive took forever. I was almost in tears thinking that this just isn't meant to be. Thank goodness I called and told them what happened. They saw me. This is a big deal because this guy is in demand. The receptionist made sure that I knew how special I was. Anyway, sorry for the rambling, I finally asked my doc what the deal was and why he was waiting so long and if I could please have an estimated surg. date. It seems that since I drained so long, he wants to be extra sure that everything is all perfect in there, and wants me to massage an extra couple of months. He gave me a date of 11/7, the day before my bday. So at least I have that. Oh, and he told me that my skin looks really good and that I shouldn't have any problems stretching and he's planning on making me a real pretty set. I'm getting excited.

Aw girls, I worked last night and was just thinking about pouring a glass of wine. How does that song go...

I drink alone, yea with nobody else. I drink alone, yea with nobody else. You know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself.

You are never alone, you always have us.
And there is alway "me", "myself", and "I"

Yummy my cocktail today is a Mexican Seafood Cocktail. Made it for dinner. Don't know what kind of alcohol I want to go with it, though. Maybe a Mexican beer??

OK here's the lyrics to I Drink Alone. This song cracks me up.

    by
    George Thorogood
    recording of 1986
    from
The Baddest Of George Thorogood And The Destroyers (EMI E2-97718 or Capitol 97718)
    I drink alone, yeah,
    with nobody else
    I drink alone, yeah,
    with nobody else
You know when I drink alone,
I prefer to be by myself
    Every morning just before breakfast,
I don't want no coffee or tea
Just me and good Buddy Wiser,
    that's all I ever need
    'Cause I drink alone, yeah,
    with nobody else
Yeah, you know when I drink alone,
I prefer to be by myself
The other night I laid sleeping,
and I woke from a terrible dream
So I caught up my pal Jack Daniel's,
    and his partner Jimmy Beam
    And we drank alone, yeah,
    with nobody else
Yeah, you know when I drink alone,
I prefer to be by myself
The other day I got invited to a party,
    but I stayed home instead
Just me and my pal Johnny Walker ,
and his brothers Black and Red
    And we drank alone, yeah,
    with nobody else
Yeah, you know when I drink alone,
I prefer to be by myself
My whole family done give up on me,
and it makes me feel oh so bad
The only one who will hang out with me,
    is my dear Old Granddad
    And we drink alone, yeah,
    with nobody else
Yeah, you know when I drink alone,
I prefer to be by myself

You're going to London? Well at least you won't be stuck on the freeway 35 miles from your home for 45 minutes having to pee.

London, I'm impressed, and a bit jealous. No, I don't get jealous. How long will you be there? I really hope it works out for you. Why London?

My right nipple is a graft. He used skin from my left breast reduction. You can see a pic on the pic forum. It is a little bit too big, I may have him make it smaller, but I am in no hurry. That was easy healing. I hope it can work in your case shel. Still haven't gotten up for the wine yet.

Oh now I feel like a total idiot. I would have to do laser hair removal if they were to use my thighs. Any other body part too for that matter.

Christine, I took a peek. You look great!!

Christine didn't mean yours. Just meant if I went that route, I would definitely have to do laser even before the graft. Like I said you look awesome.

And I'm an idiot for not knowing about London Ontario.
