I think I know what resturant you're talking about. I haven't been to old town is ages. never seem to get enough time to go anywhere when I get back home.
I think there's a place called Tom's ? If I remember right it's really nice, it's down near the airport

I'm SO jealous! I live in Connecticut, where Trader Joe's is not allowed to sell wine. Which makes me WHINE!

Shel, I ageee anxiety sucks. Ok 500 for a razor, what does it dial the numbers for you. Mine was only 199, Don't worry "merv" will be fine. Pablo, nice!!!!!!!!

Janis thanks for telling me to not feel quilty about drinking, but I have been hitting it to hard for my liking so I'm going to step back a tad!!!!!!!!!!

cheryl, I lived in San Diego, well I was in the Navy Stationed there on the USS Cape Cod, many moons ago, loved the area.

Shel - I was going to say gardener, but that's you. Not nuts, just funny. All the names(characters) keeps it interesting. Names for nicki? It's already bad enough to post.
Randi - I hit it hard for a few months after my bilateral. I'd never done that before and it kind of freaked me out. Got scared that I wasn't going to be able to reel it in. Totally under control now. I had just been trying to cope and stay numb, and then I found this place.
Pooh- What! No Chuck in Connecticut? It isn't Utah. What's up with that?
Cheryl- Do you sell Chuck through PC? I'm confused, why the boxes?

Crappy (back to the constipation thread! Again! S**t!) liquor laws in Connecticut. Wine can only be sold in liquor stores in CT. Grocery stores can only sell beer/malt beverages. No liquor sold on Sundays, and the liquor stores close at 8 (although, the law recently changed to 9 pm, but they all close at 8, anyway.)

What's a drinking girl to do?

Wow! Connecticut is really strict, but I bet it's a nice place to live. We have booze everywhere you go, including now soon at Target. They had a sign on the door informing everyone that they are applying for a liquor license.

Lini, maybe the stress of the last few years had me drinking so much. I just know that after surgery next week i'm taking a break for a while, if not just to lose some weight.

Vicki, CT is tough on drinking, I noticed that when I went down there with some freinds.

Well, not to knock the two-buck-chuck but it's not the same wine from year to year or case to case. But if you like it then enjoy! I'm currently stuck on a zinfandel from CA. Sorry, that sounded kind of b**chy. (must be the lack of sex/sex drive and the hot flashes starting up - again!)

Janis, I love bitchy. Anything else is boring. A buzz is a buzz is a buzz. Besides I'm really poor right now so it's all I can afford and I'm saving the good stuff for a special occasion, like when I run out of the cheap stuff. Which CA zinfandel?? Don't back off, it's hopping around her tonight. Is it still a full moon??

Oh, I'm just stressed out is all. Feeling lonely and unloved and such. Luckily the zin I drink is $9.99 at my store and then I get a 20% discount so for $8 I can get a decent bottle of wine that I like. I want to say it's Dancing Bull? Are you gonna make me get up and check? I can't tolerate cheap wine as it's usually too hard on my stomach. But then I've have some very expensive wine that I haven't liked either so I guess it's all just a matter of taste. Maybe I just need to hop on the sober wagon for a while? The trouble is it (alcohol) helps me sleep better. Sure, I have sleeping pills but I don't want to take them all the time. It's more fun to drink!

Way more fun. Hubby just called. Told him to bring home dinner as I'm a bit buzzed. I can't figure out why I have such a buzz. I think this is only the beginning of glass #2. Do Pepsid and wine not mix?? I've been having tummy (oops, stomach) troubles too. Don't want to offend those "breast" people on the other thread.

HUH??? "breast/stomach?" Sometimes I get drunk and sometimes I don't from the same amount of alcohol. Could be anything. I hope he brings home a tasty dinner!

Oh, on the "what do you call your breasts" thread. Some people are offended by boobs and boobies. Thought tummy might hurt someone's feelings as it sounds immature.

Ah. Thank you for the insight. I just want to have fun. I have never had a red stripe. I am so un-worldly. I feel like a real loser. I'm going out tomorrow and find out exactly what it's all about.
