Vickie, Yes get it checked out, then put the keys in a draw and close it. Go to the fridge or where ever you keep the wine/booze, open a bottle and sit and drink it.

girl you need to take a couple days to recoup.

    (((((((((((((((((((((Vicki))))))))))))))))))))))))

    Big hugs..

Linda - I haven't been on the site for a while. DH is starting a new job and there's been a whole lot of crap going down at the old one. The RV seminar was really good! We learned a whole lotta sh*t lol. We had no idea the amount of work involved with an RV. I think it is just overwhelming right now, but when we get into the routine, it won't be so bad. We wanted to get out for one weekend before we have to winterize, but that's not happening. All the campgrounds are booked solid for the last two weekends in Oct. "Halloween Weekends"!! Geez, the nerve .

Wow!! There's sure a lot going on here lately. I have to catch up. Pardon my ignorance, but, what are Rotel tomatoes?? I have put salsa in Velveeta and made a dip (sorry Janis, I like it too). I know it's full of unhealthy crap, but I don't eat it very often. Oh yeah, I'm also a Scot by birth. Grandpa was from Edinbrough (spelling?).

Randi - Congrats on the new Grandbaby!! They are a real joy.

Shel - I'm glad you are thinking about dating, but maybe you shouldn't push it right now. Maybe if you concentrate on spending time with you, someone will pop into your life. You never know. ((((HUGS)))).

I have had so much going on lately, I haven't had two minutes to check in here. My brother-in-law has MS and he is drinking way too much. Boy can I relate . The problem is that he gets really angry when he is drunk and takes it out on his wife. He has a lot of anger since his dx and he is in denial, Big Time!

I need happy time! DH and I drink together every night and we have fun! We are into Martinis and Cabernet sauv. What a combo! We were trying to watch a movie last night and it took me a half hour to wake him up so he wouldn't miss too much . We kept the DVD for tonight, so we'll try to make it through again lol.

    Cheers everybody!

Vickie - Holy crap!! I live in the country, so I know how sneaky those damn deer can be. I've had them fall out of the sky in front of my car also, but so far haven't hit one. I can't believe the second accident!! Some people are just heartless bitches and horrible liars! You can only hope that someday she gets a taste of what she dished out. I hope your hands are better! You need a nice bottle of wine and a really comfy place to sit a drink it.

Damn Vickie! Maybe you should just stick to drinking...You need to get to a Dr. and have your poor hands looked at. I'd have someone else drive.

But seriously, I would be in shock, which I'm sure you are! Hope you're on the mend soon.

Cheryl - congrats on the new grandbaby and on cutie # 3!

    Hi laides,

Well I'm just so freaking depressed today I could fall down and cry and never get back up. I know it is stupid to feel like this over such a stupid thing but it is how I feel. Since my hysterectomy on August 16th, I've been feeling like I ahve lost weight, eating better, trying not to drink so much. Than I made the mistake of stepping on the scale and I'm bigger than I have ever been. I'm so depressed over this, I just want to drink myself away. But maybe that is the problem to much drinking. I'm just so sick of all this crap, cancer, surgery, tx, I'm done.

    Sorry just needed to vent.

I'd so like to go find that b*tch and smack her one!!! they did not total my car so now I have to wait two to three weeks to get it back so i'm stuck paying for the rental car that long...sh*t.
Donna...just read your post...made me laugh. I work at an Assisted Care Facility with 101 independent apartments and 60 assisted care apartments and my boss told me this morning that maybe i'd better move in so i don't have to drive. they have also decided that i need to be in a protective bubble of some sort.
    ok...done whining!!!
things have got to get better.

Vickie an Janis, thanks, what a day, honest to god, I think my body thinks it is getting a period, cuz my tummy looks 4-5 months prego and trust me when I say I did not look like this yesterday. anyhow, whatever.

Vickie, wrap yourself in bubble wrap and everytime someone pisses you off, pop a few bubbles that should make you feel better.

    Randi-

Chuck the darn scale out the window and go with how you feel! Take good care of yourself and feel good...that's my plan. Don't be too hard on yourself...it's not worth it.

    Smile!

I don't know, Shel, how much do you want to tell him? I don't tell anyone I've just met that I had BC but that's me (and I still have both my breasts). If you're afraid to call him then let him call you! And, what are you afraid of anyway - having a good time? Do report back please!

Hey Janis- cooking dinner and having a glass of wine, but really watching the WORLD SERIES. Go Cards!

Just checking in to see if everyone has visited the Lesbian forum, PinkRibbonAmy posted that her website is featured on the Lifetime website. There are about 5-6 maybe 7, girls from the site that have there pics there, under-Faces of Breast Cancer. They will do a little video at the end of movie, using those pics. BTW, your new pic from Sears, looks great. I'm sure your parents will appreciate replacing the one of you and your ex. My dad had a big one of me and ex-dh hanging in his house for years. I finally took it down. lol, I think it is in a junkyard or landfill somewhere.

shel - I posted in the circle hread, but please, tell us, how did it come to this? I was so ready for you to move on in your life, even without the nips or husband. Damn!
I know you're heading for Mexico, but it sounds like, if further tx plans allow, you should meet us in Vegas 11/9-12 for a lil R&R. Sister, you need a break from all of this! As donna asked, were there symptoms? I'm sorry sweet shel (oh and Mike Sucks!)

Shel...just read that some people are like slinky's...completely useless but fun to push down the stairs!!!
Shall we change your husbands name to slinky and push him down the stairs...oh I'm being wicked again...just wanted to bring you a smile.

HA! Love the 'slinky' analogy! I'm having a drink to and for Shel tonight! Here's to the future - most of us are better off without men anyway. I went through my dx & tx without one and now I see them on MY terms!

I'm with you Janis...it's my way or no way when it comes to men. The last one proved to be a jerk this weekend and tried to apologize after the fact but it just wasn't enough...down the road with him.
Geez...I sound like such a b*tch...I'm really not!
