ROFL Mena and Shel...."pfft" is the noise you make when you put your lips together and blow air *and sometimes saliva* through them LMAO!!

So, I looked at this from one of two ways...I belive what he has in his hand *could* be a piece of Shepherd's pie (or maybe she said her name was "Zephyr"?!?)...

    image

OR...I've made an italian shepherd's pie once that looked a little bit like what's in the dog's dish (who happens to be a shepherd LMAO)...ROFLMAO!!

Oh my...you gals make me LAUGH!!! I need a dose of happy today. I'm home for the weekend and leave on Monday morning bright and early for more rads...2 down, 31 to go! My mom is going with me for the first 3 days, then we will drive home for the night and I will go up on Thursday by myself for 2 more zaps. i have been cooking up a storm so I leave the fridge full. That, and I have lists EVERYWHERE for my hubby. I never realize how much I do until I try and write it all down for someone else to do.

I will have my new lap-top with me, so I should be able to check in every now and then. I won't have my own connection for a few days.

I have been keeping you all in my prayers. Sometimes with all the sadness around all I can pray for is peace...peace and comfort for all who are in need.

    Hugs to all,
    Deb C.

been trying to read all the post to catch up, but my eyes are blurring from the percocet. Threw my back out yesterday rearranging the living room. First time I've done any really house work since DX last Oct. The hubby has been doing it all! Now I'm stuck in bed again! great way to spend my vacation.

My prayers are with all of you and expecially those in special need of them

    Hello Circle girls!

I am sorry I have been away for a day or two...
Ronda- so glad to have you in the circle!
Tina, i love you and i am praying for you and your family every day

I love Shephards pie who ever is making it thank you!

I thought we could make a very large bon fire tonight and tomorrow night and maybe rearrange the wagons in the shape of a heart. Just for these two nights.

That way 3,000 souls can look down and see our big warm fire buring bright as a beacon so they can make out the shape of our Circle... a heart for them to all know we remember each and every one of their precious souls and that we have never once forgotten them and we will always burn our fires bright to show them the Circle is always open for their moms, wives, dads, brothers, sisters, daughters and sons, if they ever want to come and have some comfort and peace and know they are safe and loved.

All of our Warrior Angels that have gone before us can take them by the hand show them where to look... and they will see and feel the warmth from our Circle and the knowledge that there always is room for anyone, BC sister or hero fireman, as long as the Circle Girls are here, will give them a peace in their hearts.

Love and peace to all my sisters...
If we learned one thing five years ago it was to always remember to tell eachother how much they mean to us because you never know what tomorrow will bring.

    I cherish you my sisters.

    Reporting for night shift...

    love,g

NS...again, a great idea...hearts are my all-time favorite symbol...I was born on Valentine's Day...that's why my Wagon is heart-shaped and decorated with hearts galore...got love, love, love...

I'm up awfully early, and probably just till my kids get on the bus at 6:50 am, so I'll start moving my wagon now...I'm sure to be napping in a couple hours or so...

Ronda, good to see you here...pic and all! I still don't know how to do that...

Rhymeee...I wrote practically the same thing to you in the other forum...the B9 one...

Peggy...pfft hahahah on the shepherd, the Zephyr and the dog...good one...go find a heart-shaped wagon...I hope to see it when I wake from my nap.

I don't cook. What's for breakfast? I'm hungry...Can we have bagels? No cooking there...OK, I'll make the bagel run since I'm up...and I will pick up some lox for those of us who like it...Mena...xo

Oh my Goodness! Mena beat me to my morning watch. I thought I was the only crazy person to get up so early in the morning!

My wagon is moved. The heart shaped wagon circle looks great. I thought it was raining hard yesterday. Oh my, it is really raining this morning. I have my galoshes on. I mean there are puddles and mud everywhere. But my tent is nice and warm. Having coffee and waiting for Mena to come back with the lox and bagels - which happens to be one of my favorites.

And I just got back from the outhouse. Geez! Needed Ajax to clean all of the graffiti. Oh Denise, if you werent there, you should have seen what these girls wrote about you!

Ronda - OMG, so glad you are back and you found us. We have been missing you.

Cheryl: Just come on over to the medic wagon. Have a nice heating pad and I use moist heat. Yeppers, I have a nice warm moist towel, put the heating pad over it, and hoping you will feel better today. I have lots of pain meds for you, and even have a muscle relaxant. Hoping you will feel better today. No fun throwing your back out while cleaning and being on vacation!

Mena: Born on Valetines Day! I knew you were a sweet heart.

Rhymee: Missed ya. Any results yet?

Oh my! There are so many of us here. So if I missed anyone, thats only cause I just gave you a big hug.

Shephards Pie - the pics were great. So how does an Italian Girl know about Shephards Pie? Her husband is an Irish Entertainer and works in pubs lol.

Deb: The countdown has begun. We are with you all the way. I have some nice lotion to rub on your skin. And I bought you some water in pretty blue bottles (no plastic here). Wanna make sure you dont get dehydrated. But watch out, I may have spiked the water!! To make you feel better of course.

Peggy: I missed you again. Seems like we are pretty good circle partners. You arrive, right when Im going to my wagon for shut eye and vice versa!!

5 years ago today. I was working as a pharmacy nurse consultant. Was downtown Chicago reviewing charts at a nursing home that was about 1 mile from Sears Tower. I got there very early that day, cause I wanted to miss the crazy rush hour traffic we have here in Chicago. I was in a tiny room with no windows, and no radio. Anyways, about 9am I stepped out to talk to the nurses. When they first told me about the planes hitting the towers! I was shocked. I stepped outside and just looked around with such sadness. I could see Sears Tower. And the streets were empty. Everyone went home that morning. Seeing empty streets in downtown Chicago - well its something. The only traffic I saw were cabs lined up to bring people places. But there were no people. So Im having a moment of silence right now. And greatful that all of you have been such good friends.

Good Morning all, sorry to be checking in late but I brought hot Krispy Kream donuts - regular, chocolate iced ones, cream filled and jelly filled ones. We have a fresh apple cake too, if you don't like donuts.

Figured today, everyone wouldn't want to cook so much but just some time to reflect and remember. Will keep the coffee on for all you late risers (later than me anway.)

Pray everyone has a good beginning to their week. Has anyone seen anything else on Trenton?

Thanks for keeping the coffee warm. Been up for a while but just making it to the circle. Been busy all weekend and not checked in and wow at the news that I missed. Sorry to hear all the bad things happening and realizing just how important our circle is as we keep it going. I will jump on my trusty donkey just as soon as I finish my coffee ane make my morning rounds to keep an eye on things.
Thanks also for the Krispy Kreme donuts. Nothing like HOT donuts now. They just melt in your mouth.

Remembering everyone in our circle today and Trenton is really laying heavy on my heart. Such a cute little boy. Love to everyone. Amy

I LOVE this thread and all of you. Feeling very somber today, just remembering the thousands of lives we lost, five yrs ago. There is not much else to do but remember.
Keeping everyone close and safe in our circle.

Rhymeee- glad you made it home safely. Great to meet you. I am so happy you will be mving to the outside of the circle now. One of these nights out on the range, when the center of the circle is empty we can have a big sushi party, in celebration of everyone moving to the outer ring.

Had a great time, Rhymeee and Susan and if Gnu or Naomi ever visit the boards, loved meeting ya'll.

Just got home from work. Man oh man its cutting into my computer time. And it rained all day long. Yes a somber day, spent alot of time thinking about 5 years ago.

But I gotta agree with Donna - I have had enough of the 911 media frenzy. I read a sign today that says "Never forget, they won't."

Not in the mood to cook tonight. Looks like Pizza. Pick your toppings, I pick them up. And no dessert for me! I went to my onc and I gained 10 pounds. Geez!

Rhymee glad your coming to the outer part of the circle now. Guess that means the news is good. Thank goodness.

Christine, when we have the sushi party, Ill bring shrimp, its the only fish I can eat raw.
