I'm here, just wanted to say goodnight to all. For some reason I'm extremely tired - I think I'm ready for a real vacation. Debi2, I'll say a prayer for Dear. A peaceful night to all.

    hello Circle Girls...
I had a day away from the Circle today. A little quiet time riding along the trail in the forest that has all that white moss and pale green lichen so it looks like a fairyland.
I had a little split of Veueve Cliquot with me and a mini anniversary cake I got from the baker's wagon and of course my pink balloons that I send up in the sky every year with thank you written on them, one for each year...

I would like to add Peachy to the Circle. She needs our prayers for good results tomorrow, I just read a nice note from her in the Just Diagnosed section.
I was thinking we need a nice, warm, cozy and very comfortable Newbie Wagon. They can stay in there and be by themselves if they want and not have to socialize, but they will be able to hear their sisters just outside there to protect them... that should help get them through those rough first weeks... and those who want to come out then we will show them the ropes and make them laugh and let them know they are never alone in the Circle.

Vickie, I had all the BRCA counseling and testing done. You let me know what you want to know.
    Susan! What beeeeooooottttiifuuuul ponies!!!
Nicki! WHAT a great idea! Barbaro can make us lots and lots of new horses! And if we can hook him up with one of Susan's pink ponies just think how happy Shel would be! But I want to bid on Spin Humor... 'I will be your night in shining armor, riding across the desert on a fine arab charger"
You know EMOTIONAL RESCUE is an EXCELLENT name for this Wagon Train!
Christine! my all time favorite picture!
And dear Peggy, congratulations of finishing rads! If you look closely in that barrel of grapes isn't that a nipple I see???

Hoping all our Circle Girls are resting well.... karen is comfortable and in the arms of her family....Rhymee is healing from her surgery.... denise sounds good! AS USUAL! Can we change your name to the energizer bunny??....Mena, I am praying all went well at your second opinion doc today!...jeannie, keep healing, you are gloriously NED....
Debbie... hang in there girl! I know you can! Robin, sweet Robin, praying for an easing in the s/e's for you! Penny I pray you are doing well and are feeling strong...we add Dear and Peachy and anyone else who needs us...

Deb may tomorrow at rads be easy and may everything work!

The night shift is all here... rest well ladies... soon the morning comes.

Ah! Good Morning. Im laughing out loud, but I have covered my mouth. Dont want to wake anyone up here in the circle.

The grape stomping pictures are great. And Peggy, yes, that one was perfect. Its funny cause I'm 56 years old and that little girl is how I picture myself in my mind. Yes indeed a kid at heart. And then I look in the mirror - and wonder what happened to all those years.

Its another beautiful morning here at the campfire. Just put in more wood. And I think we are being tempted with a last taste of summer. Yes this morning the crickets and frogs are singing again. I can see the beautful stars.

Hey there is the little dipper. Oh and hey there is the North Star.

"When You Wish Upon A star
Your dreams come true." I'm picturing Perry Como singing this one. He always was a great Italian crooner.

NS: You got it. Spin Humor is dancing and prancing right now. He is so excited to have a new owner who will be a knight in shining armor.

Deb: Of course Dear can come to the circle. Tomorrow will mark the 12 year anniversary that I lost my sister to Ca Ovary at the age of 46. Crazy world we live in. 12 years later I got bc, then my older sister - now tell me in my case its not genetic. Ummmm! Actually it is genetic, I tested positive for brca2. And with the first diagnosis of bc, I had them there ovaries yanked out.

My request is minimal compared to others. But I do have a very big meeting today. With the owners of the nursing home I work for - and the administrator from hell.

Now remember, Im Italian, so Im not known for keeping my mouth shut. As a matter of fact I can easily put a size 12 shoe in my mouth. So please stand by me and give me a gentle nudge if I start going on a rampage. I go by the old saying. It not who is right or wrong - it's who looks best in the end!

The sun still has not come up over the horizon. Yes indeed, the days are getting shorter. But, Im hungry so have started breakfast. Made a nice cinnamon coffee cake. Keeping it warm for my sisters. Me - well I will be having a spicey V8 (tastes like a Virgin Mary, and 2 hard boiled eggs. Just the whites, cause I hate the yolks in hard boiled eggs. Yes the South Beach diet is so exciting isnt it. But since I boiled so many eggs, well we will also have some devilled eggs to munch on when you get hungry. I cant cook, but I can make a great devilled egg. Guess cause Im a devilish little girl who enjoys stomping on grapes.

Time to go down to the lake and clean up. Have a great morning. Enjoy the food. I'll be back some time.

NS: oh I love the title EMOTIONAL RESCUE. Lets set up that wagon right in the middle of the red cross wagon and healing light wagon.

My goodness - we are strong!!!

    Hi friends,

Emotional Rescue, WOW! what a perfect name.

I have a request, could my dear father join our circle? We are keeping a vigil at his bedside in hospital. He has been battling melanoma for just over a year and it is now in his lungs, liver and most likely his bones. He is frail and prognosis is grim . His name is John and he is a proud Welshman.

I hope everyone is doing well today.

    much love to all, Tina

Tina, of course. I think our wagon circle needs it's own country or state to take over. Beautiful day here with pretty blue skies and some clouds.
How about tonight we go to a barn dance with our sisters and brothers to cheer them up?
Peggy or Sue, any pictures to get us in the mood??

Everyone is welcome in our circle and it sounds as if John needs us at this very moment.

Tossing some logs on the fire to keep our flame burning strong so that anybody that is looking for us will be able to locate the smoke and the flames to join in on our circle. May everyone be able to find peace love and comfort.

Beautiful day here in Alabama. I can feel fall in the air and it feels wonderful. The cooler nights are excellent as I go out and feed the donkeys and the goats. The nights are getting shorter and often after feeding I sat down and look into the sky and gaze into the stars. It doesn't matter how far away we are we all see them same sky and it makes us feel close. Thank you all for being there and traveling with me on this journey we call life. I know sometimes, me especially, gets caught up in the fast paced life we live and I forget to stop and take the time to say thank you. You all have been with me through my hardest time and although I dont know any of you except for on the board I count you all as some of my dearest friends. We all have one common bond and although none of us asked for it, through it we have found each other which is something alot of people never find. Thanks again to everyone.

Now,,,whats for dinner? I have fresh venison tenderloin thawed and ready to toss on the grill. I was thinking some fresh corn on the cob and whatever anybody else wants to toss in.

    Circle Girls---
I'm bringing my friend Christie into the circle tonite. She is 38 and discovered her CA during her last pregnancy (3 beautiful little boys---the baby is only 9 months). She is just home from bilateral expander surgery and is SO uncomfortable and once again obsessively worrying about mets. We need to send her healing white light and peace of mind. We know how hard that peace of mind thing can be sometimes but I worry about her. She is actually the nurse at my PCP's office but we have bonded in a way only BC ladies understand.

As for supper---I'm bringing bowties with fresh shrimp, garlic, olive oil, garden tomatoes and fresh basil served with a salad of baby greens and fresh rosemary bread dipped in olive oil. We have houseguests, can you tell? I'm also discovering that houseguests for three days when one eye doesn't work very well is very tricky! And you should see my face (well, maybe you shouldn't)---it's turned GREEN from my eyebrow to my jaw. I look like Shrek. Lucky for you guys I don't know how to post pictures!

    Ok I'LL tell...
Shel got pulled over for wagon driving under the influence of too many pink goodnplenty's... so we had to confiscate her wagon for a day or so...

You will get it back shel and your horse Carmine too!

Pauline happy to have you join us! We have PLENTY of horses down at the corral- just pick one out!

Special space being made for John and an extra warm hug for our sweet sister Tina.

Christie can join our newest members and feel the love and the hope that only the Wagon Circle "Emotional Rescue" can provide...

And for tonight's movie we have Shrek! Thanks Jeannie!!

Denise hun, WE have been using the 5 star outhouses... just where have YOU been peeing???

I want to remind you all that auditions are Saturday for the Hoedown Talent Show! Show us your stuff girls!

Good evening everyone!! I do believe I have missed out on lots of happenings. The circle has truly grown but there is room for plenty more!!!

Been raining hard here; was in a pretty severe drought but the grass is all green again. In fact, since my horse ran away and the grass needs grazing picked up a few of those NC wild ponies. If think horses are to big for you pick one of the ponies - just remember they might be ponies but the are WILD ones!!!
    image

Sorry but gonna have to turn in early tonight; sleep deprived. NS, no topless dancing right? I'm not pregnant but my tummy seems to get larger so is big belly dancing OK for entertainment? If so, sign me up girl.

To all those that need prayers, hugs, encouragment and some humor - you have come to the right circle. May you feel warmth and love and encouraging hugs and prayers.

    Blessings, Brenda

Shel, I found that cute little pink pony (Cotton Candy) just for you!! LOL

    Pauline welcome to the circle.

NS, Shrek is one of my favorite movies.

Tflow, the guy on the left is George, I think. He has a real nice farm and is looking for a woman with a tractor. heehee.

Nice barn Peggy, we are ready for the party. I have to figure out what I'm gonna do for the talent show.
