I don't know you SloneDeb but I am sending many prayers your way with lots of hugs.
Guess I am on the confused couch here as well. I haven't been here much lately...just too quiet and not "the same" but I think things are improving (of course I don't know what's going on so I could be wrong LOL). I know that this can and will be the loving kind place its always been if we all work together to make it that way.
Hi Jasmine, Colleen, Sheri, Angel, Liz, Brenda, Doreen, Nicki, Denise, Iris, Amy etc...
Where is CY and how is she doing?
I'll get back to my nightly tuck in's if that will help get all our "family" back together again.
Love and hugs to all

Once again...mark me dazed and confused.
I don't know what the heck is going on, but I do know there are LOTS of ladies out there needing our support and prayers. It has been a ahrd few days.
Slonedeb - I am wrapping my arms around you and sending you love and prayers. None of us know what the future holds. We are here for you....very gentle hugs.
I know there are other ladies I wish I could rmember you all by name...I tried to go back and find psots, but things are so confusing I can't find them. I know there a people getting tests...has anyone heard how Cheri's Onc appt went? Did Marsh get her drain out? Was it Brenda that had a biopsy done today?? I wish I could find the posts, but in leu of that, please know that I have you all in my prayers....
Hugs

I'm here I spent another long long way to long day at work almost 11 hours. Got into it with the back up and think I finally cleared some air. good thing my boss backed me up! so we'll see if she took my words to heart and keeps some things in her head and not on the tip of her tounge and if she listens tomorrow when I really start the training!
It's a bit late and I see Slone Deb didn't encouraging news! We are with you sweetie I'm so glad you found this circle. let us know if we can do anything to help.
Yes I have numbers behind "my home" I must have PM's!
I have to go look now!
0 -
Yep had PM's a couple I had missed but thanks to it telling you how many you have I went and found them all!
Rita Jean I know you're out there, Thank you for the card it brightened my day or should I say night sine it was almost 8pm when I got it.
Didn't sleep well last night or maybe too well ad I woke in extreme pain when I tried to move. figured out that I was on my stomach and the port site is still too fresh and didn't like me trying to turn over. it took both Scott and me to get me turned back over and when we did it was too late for me to take another pain med cause I had to get up in 3 hours and drive to work. I cried for a long time from the pain until I cried myself back to sleep. so hopefully I won't do that again tonight!
ok going to go get ready for tomorrow need to get into work early so I can get to chemo in the afternoon.
Hugs and prayers and it's so good to see more sisters coming home!

Good morning Campers. Happy Wednesday!
Cy -- I'm so sorry about the port pain. That just sucks big pickles. It sure is nice when a boss backs you up. I hope work goes better for you today.
AlaskaDeb -- so nice to see you pop in. Cheri's onc appt was pushed out to Friday due to an emergency on the doctor's part.
WildJan -- its so nice to see you posting here.
SloneDeb -- thinking of you today
Thongs -- where's my cheese buddy today? I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving.
Please continue to pray for Ravencaine and her family.

Morning Circle. I had a client change appointment times so instead of getting other work done I thought I would check in here.
Cy-I don't know how you do it. I couldn't work during chemo if I wanted to and you are just pushing yourself so much. Please rest after your infusion today.
Always-thanks for the update on Cheri's onc appointment. I was worried about her.
Wild/Jan-hows the weather out there today. We have had nothing but sunshine since you left. I am thinking of coming to visit my sister in OK in January. Mind you I said "thinking of" but if I decide to come into the winter abis maybe we could meet up 1/2 way or something for a visit.
Margaret-about a year before I was dx I started to think if I could just get rid of that stomach and have a boob lift I would be happy with my body. This is not how I had thought I would go about it though.
Vickie-Glad to see you are feeling better.
Deb-confusion is all part of the day isn't it?
Well I think I will go read some more. You all have a nice day.

Oh CY, I'm so sorry honey! Hope today and tonight are better.
0 -
Jasmine, you are so right. I am not picking up my toys and going home, just not playing with them here as much as I used to. I will continue to check in to see how you are all doing.
CY, what an awful thing to not be able to turn over in bed by yourself. You must be such a trooper! To go to work after a night like that is amazing.

Hello Sisters and Peter,
Have not been too talkative of late - busy at work and home. Decided to add some excitement to my life yesterday. Got chest pains and shooting pains down my left arm. Luckily I work at a hospital, so walked myself over to the ER. Ended up staying the night and getting the thorough workup. No heart problems is the bottom line. Had forgotten how uncondusive to rest hospitals are. Going to make dinner, take a hot bath and go to bed. I need a good night's sleep.
Vickie and MB, have a great vacation.
DebC, you how to give a bath to a cat story is almost as funny as the how to give a cat a pill joke.
Sherloc, sorry to hear your latest news. You can stop smoking. Talk to Vickie and Cheri!!!!!!
Madison, during the stress test this morning my blood pressure was pretty high. I looked at the nurse and said, "do you think the fact that I''m in the hospital taking a stress test has anything to do with that?" She redid it a few minutes later and it was closer to normal.
For everyone one the board and a member of the Circle even if I don't mention you by name, you are in my heart and prayers. Take care.

The ideal thing is for me to move into an
assisted living facility. To get my insurance topay i would have to move to the state of virginia.
If i have to move out of state to an assisted living to have insurance to pay, why not move to an al place in georgia clo se to my doctor. The time has past for me to do what i want and the time has come to come to do what is best for me.
insurance ismedicare part a and b
what do you guys thinkl
0 -
Jankay - I say go for it! If your insurance pays for it, take advantage of the benefits.
0 -
Cherryl, you aren't supposed to have excitement like that. Please take care of yourself.
Jankay, I say go for it, especially since insurance will pay for it.
I must say it's been very quiet around here lately.
My post makes the 10th post here today.

Wow it has been quite around here today!
I made 8 hours at work and the new gal worked out much better today We actually got a good bit done. May have her do some of the work and me watch tomorrow.
Ok if Cheri promises to be good can she come out to play??? I miss her!
got home from chemo fixed dinner, (chili Masc), Scott is working late tonight and got on to check out ebay for lots of kids clothes. I have two kids that filed bankruptcy that have kids who are outgrowing all their clothes and my kids can't afford to go get clothes for the grands! Hayden is only 4 moths old but quickly growing out of 12 month clothes, Cloe is already in 2t - 3t cloths and isn't even 22 months old. Leilani is turning one Sunday and is in 18 mo clothes. Wish we could give her Cloes old clothes but DD just gave them to a cousin that wasn't able to get new clothes for her dd.
What are they feeding these kids that they grow so darn fast?
I' wish I could just go to the second had store like I did last time and spend $100 per kid and get lots of clothes but I can't afford that right now either!
Jankay, do you have anything besides medicare? I know Medicaide helps pay my MIL's AL expenses.
Ok Think I'm going to go read and hit the sack!

BMD>that would be so cool, just let me know if you do come to OK. I got to thinking that I had never driven the turnpike to OK City, DH has always done it. Been here since 94 and ironically I just realized that!! Odd in a way because I used to drive to Chicago from the "boonies" as they called them up there when I was a teen so no reason for me to not have done it by now here.
B445>I was going to ask if you had some thrift shops there but I see you do and you just can't help them in that way right now. I visited those shops many a time before school started to help clothe my 3 kids. Because I don't work and haven't worked in about 15 years I feel guilty if I buy anything new so tend to shop the sales racks for new clothes for me. Only exception has been when on vacation I may buy a new t shirt with the name of the state or town on it. I think my last biggest new purchase was a pair of NIKE gym shoes because they are so comfy for me as I have a bone spur on one of my heels. Sometimes when I want a little extra spending money I shop really carefully with the grocery allowance buying lot of items on sale by going to more than one grocery store which leaves me with a little extra money to spend elsewhere. I used to do the coupon thing but I got where I kept losing my coupon box (leaving it in the store) that I gave it up! I have a freezer in the garage that lets me stock up on sales items so that helps a lot too. I learned how to sew from my Mom and high school so that used to save me money when I was a teen because I am 6ft tall and it was hard to find clothes to fit me. Mom found one tall shop for ladies back in the 70s but it was very expensive so made that trip once a year to check their sales rack. I can't believe the price of patterns these days, its been so long since 've sewn something. Last thing I remember sewing is colorful western shirts with snaps for my DH. When he lost alot of weight I put those shirts up on ebay in one lot and they sold quickly as they were for big men.
I see Banquet has a recall on their chicken and turkey pot pies, I usually buy that brand but lucky me I must have bought Swanson brand on sale LOL!

Sorry it double posted on me!
I think one reason its been so quiet here is we don't like having our hands slapped and posts removed. That is a big problem over on the Patriot Guard Riders forum. Mention the protesters at the funerals, bam your post is gone. Disagree nicely with someone's thread, bam your post is gone because mods say you are arguing when you are really just stating your opinion nicely even if its opposed. Its gotten where hardly anyone posts in the State forums because most of us have had our hands slapped for no good reason. I have been online since the early 80s and know when someone is being rude and can usually pick out the troublemakers early on. Too much hand slapping drives people away from forums. The best thing is to ban the troublemakers or put them on probation.

CY, I had to laugh at your post "What are they feeding these kids that they grow so fast"? HORMONES and PERSERVATVIES!!
0 -
Cy - have you checked your local craigslist for clothes ? You'll probably get better prices on craigslist then ebay because you avoid the shipping - have your husband check craigslist.org

Hi, folks. Just nosin' around the Circle. I've not come here but for maybe once and was just thinking maybe I ought to join you. I work alone and sometimes I like to pop online for amusement, kind of like office chit-chat. Seems you just can't get away from it. Well, as I'm the boss, I guess I can get away with it!
Since I don't know any of you, I'll just introduce myself with a little info. This is my second time around with bc. The first was in 1992. Now, again this year, same breast. Well, all treatments are over and the recon is done. I found this board back in July and have learned so much from ladies here and found so many of you are terrific people. I like you!
Anyway, I'll be popping in from time to time and hope to meet some of you by the campfire.
Tina

Hi Tina,
Glad you stopped by.
Lots of wood by the fire so it will be warm.
I am a two time survivor myself.
Can't wait until I am done with everything like you!
Welcome!
Hugs,

Good afternoon dear ones!!
Tina, welcome. Come sit by the fire, gonna roast some marshmallows later this evening and enjoy the chill in the air indicating fall is here.
Deb - I've just read your news. My heart breaks with you - but you don't dare give up!!!!!!!!! Your going to be here for Christmas, New Years, Easter, Memorial day, next Thanksgiving and Christmas. We don't like the choices but new drugs are out and don't stop looking for "THE ONE" Amy has had some bad mets news, Shirley too it seems. If love can take all of this away, then we'll just love all of you to health. If I can help, you need a shoulder - hey, mine is pretty big these days. Hugs, big hugs!!!
I've come back to read and never seen so much edited, deleted stuff. UGH!!!!! HUFF, HUFF!!!!!!!!!!
Doing good here, waiting for the B9 call.
MB, Vicki enjoy your trip.
Cy - no, I doubt that you do that again and have to endure the pain. Sending much love your way.
Time to put clothes in the dryer.

Hi Tina,
Welcome!! I'm the boss of me too! I'm self-employed, so I can pop in and out throughout the day. Lots of us get together and visit at nosurrenders website as well. Please drop in over there and say hello too.
Brenda - I've been thinking about you all day. When do you think you'll be hearing from your doc? Please let us know ASAP. Did you get any rest at all last night? I hope you're doing okay.
SloneDeb - I'm keeping you in my heart and prayers.
Cy - you work wayyyy harder than I do, and I'm not doing chemo or having to even leave my house to work!! I sit in my pajamas all day and type. Hope you're feeling better.
AlaskaDeb - I've been keeping up with the thread about the "Discussion" title. Interesting discussion. Glad you posted it.
Love and prayers to all

Tina - nice to meet you. Come sit by the fire and we'll get to know each other.
Okay Pinkstock girls - don't kill me. I submitted the group photo from Pinkstock to Lifetime TV for the Faces of Breast Cancer Tribute. They LOVE it and want names. First names? Screen names? What do you want me to tell them?
The lady stated that the picture was TRUE faces of BC.
Hugs

Good morning Circle Ladies! Happy Friday! Its finally turning into fall down here. I can tell because the high temp today is in the high 70's. Wow, a cold spell. The leaves should start turning soon. Its one of the prettiest times of year here and I'm going to try to go to some of our 'mountains' and get some pictures of all the lovely colors. I'm sure in a few weeks I'll be complaining about how cold it is and wishing for summer. Never satisfied!
Cy -- I'm so glad that the new trainee is working out. Now you can take a day or two for treatment and come back without having to pull overtime hopefully. You amaze me with all you do.
WildJan -- How are things with you lately? Nice to see you dropping by BCO. I also shop the resale shops and at Goodwill. I shop at Goodwill lately to find cheap flannel shirts to use for fabric in the flannel quilt I've been working on. I've noticed that alot of the clothes are in really nice shape. Not what you envision from someplace like that.
BMD -- I agree with you on the boob lift and tummy tuck. I would rather have it done on my own terms and not because of an illness.
Cmb35 -- Nice to see you too! Where have you been lately?
Sheri -- my fellow Pogo addict! Did you get your badges yet? Just think, you will have a weekend now to Pogo.
Cherryl -- I hope you stay on top of those chest pain issues and go to a doc. Its nice that you work at a hospital though.
Jankay -- I think you should do what you feel is best for you and your family. I would hate to advise you on something like this as it really is a family issue and I wouldn't want to interfere where I had no place. Best wishes on whatever you decide.
Thongs -- Its so nice to see you! You were definitely missed. I haven't heard from Raven yet, have you? She is supposed to get to come home today. I hope nothing happened.
Marsha -- unfortunately, you may not be too far off the mark on the comment about the 'hormones and preservatives' in the food. I think that is one reason why young girls may be entering puberty younger and younger.
Doreen -- that is a great idea about Craigslist.
Purple -- have a great vacation and let us know all the scoop on Marsha!
Abbadoodles -- Welcome to the Circle!!! I've been a regular reader on your 'Making Do With Less' thread. I love it. You will fit in just fine with the rest of the circle. I'm so sorry you had to deal with this beast a second time but you sound strong and positive.
Nosurrender -- thanks for the wood for the fire.
Brenda -- I'm there with you changing B9 B9 B9! You've had so much on your plate lately and this is the last thing you need to deal with. Gentle hugs.
BinVA -- hello and hope you have a fantabulous Friday.
Liz -- I think that is pretty cool that you sent the Pinkstock picture. I can't wait to see it.
