Hi everyone, I don't post much but have tried to read this thread a lot. My only question is - why is everyone so mad at each other? You guys were so warm, compassionate and caring. What happened?
Whatever it is can't you move forward and if not forgive then forget?
I know I'm not a member here but it is so upsetting to see you guys like this.

Binva, I like that Mary Pet thats both names. You're right that was her name. I haven't been reading much until recently but I did remember her and lots of others that were so funny but very serious when they needed to be. I admire that knowing the difference and I could look up their names but you gals and Peter know the nice gals I mean because they were here all the time. I did read quite alot last summer to. Then I got so low I didn't want to read. Hi Cassie. It's hard to get these gals to talk to you much but now that nice man will. I used to read when this was a good place. I hear there's another website where there's no fussing and everybody speaks right to you and it's like it used to be. I haven't been there yet because I wanted to give this place a chance. It's not going well. Some of the gals are nice here. Thank you.

SHERIH>do you play canasta on yahoo games? My dh and I used to play there alot but then something changed and I couldn't stay in the game room, kept getting booted out. Now I find its working again but don't play it like I used to.

Binva why did you erase what you wrote? Does that mean I should too? Did you change your mind what you wanted to say was that it? That's alright to be moody I know I am to now. I change my mind all the time but that don't make us bad. You're going to be alright so don't worry over things you can't change. You weren't very nice to me but I think you must be nice to others though. You just don't know me and I read enough to know that most of you aren't friendly at first but thats alright. My husband ignores me or else tells me how stupid I am. So I don't pay much attention to meaness. Thank you.

Nosurrender you meant it as a joke about the capitals didn't you? You gals make me so nervous I get even more stupid when I try and post here. I just wanted to belong and i didn't think that was so bad. You gals all know each other and I don't know any of you except what I've read. I may not be as smart as some of you gals but I am stubborn and we have to be to fight this breast cancer. Thank you

Peter I wish you were here. You have a calming effect on me and don't make me think I'm so bad. I've taken all the mean gals talking than I can handle for right now. I have gone through breast cancer just like the rest of you have and I thought that made us close. It seems to have made some of you very bitter. I thought I had some issues but I would help another bc person. Thank you.

Jan, I just played canasta for the first time yesterday. It was really fun. I usually like to go for the weekly badges. That's my favorite thing to do. Playing games has been very relaxing to me.
I honestly don't know what is going on with some of you. I have been trying to post helpful supportive posts and I will continue to do so. I am trying to ignore any ugliness. It's up to us if we want to feed it. I refuse to. If you want to be a part of this circle, you are welcome. If you are trying to play games and stir up trouble, please stop.
It's been a beautiful day here on my side of the circle. We had a great practice, worked reallly hard on one scene, but it was a good kind of work. I sure wish all my circle friends could come. I think it would be a good stress reliever, lots of funny scenes. The paper should have pictures next Sunday, I'll post a link. The scene they videod wasn't mine, but it's a good one.

Had a great time at the movies and had mexican dinner after. The weather outside is just perfect to get out of the house for the day.
Its so nice to see so many faces pop in. I hope you had a restful and enjoyable day as well.

hmmm...this has become one strange place the past few days...what in the world is going on?
As the circle gets smaller and smaller do we fight to piece it together and fix what is wrong or will the circle just be broken?
I certainly wish for it to be what it was...there are many women here that need the help and support that the circle used to offer them...this was a safe haven...a place to come for whatever was needed.
Lisa...I think if you click on the persons name you want to put on ignore there is an option there...not sure though. Haven't tried it.
Gracie...stick around...it will get better.
Pet...hmmm...I don't know why you are calling all the girls here mean...many have responded to you. To be honest...I think I see a big act and it isn't very well played out. I apologize if I am wrong as I would never intentionally hurt someone but you seem to be playing a game. Games are not welcome here. Just be truthful.

Hi girls and Peter,I don't think my friend's cat will be down under...she's moving to Aussieville (hehe) and the quarantine waitlist is 5 months just to get in and she has to leave on short notice so she's looking to place her adorable 2 year old kitty with a loving home...thanks for helping Peter..knew I could count on you..

Just popping in to say hi all. Been dealing with lots of personal and family issues here.
MIL may have surgery later this month. Her surgeon thinks that the area on her chest that is not healing may be cancer. She had a masectomy 18 years ago and the area around her scar has gotten infected and does not want to heal. She's 88, and we are praying that the doctor is wrong, but we know that something is not right. Hoping to rule out cancer.
DD#3 broke up with her long time boy friend, and has moved back home. She's 21, and is not settling in very well here. Her boxes and junk are everywhere. I'm losing patience with her. My house is a wreck. We just got used to an empty nest, it's been difficult for all of us.
DH is adjusting to changes at work. He was given 2 weeks notice before the start of the school year, that he'd be working only half days, with half pay. Our budget has really taken a hit. He has been given another part-time job at church as choir director. That's be some help financially. This is his first time at this type of job, so everything is pretty new to him, lots of responsibility involved here.
DS#1 and girl friend have moved to Chicago. She is teaching Chemistry in one of the city high schools.
DD#2 and family are dealing with the death of her husband's godmother. She died 2 months after a dx of multiple mialoma(sp?). Aunt Fran was very special to all of her family.
Personally, I've been kind of down in the dumps. Mostly it's the sort of stuff we all go through after a cancer dx. Then add in all the other things in my life, and gee, sometimes I just want to start screaming. It so easy to feel sorry for oneself. I forget how really hard it is for others.
My weight ballooned up to 211. Yikes!! That's when I decided that I had to do something about it. Joined WW on my birthday. I figured it was a present to me, to take better care of myself. I've lost 10 pounds this month.
I've noticed some odd posts, too. Been reading and keeping up with what's been happening here. Been kind of waiting for the dust to settle. Decided not to hold my breath. Could die of suffocation waiting. So, play nice everyone. There are so many here who need us.
My post has been all over the place today. I really rambled. My prayers are with all who are experiencing difficult days. Gentle hugs to you, too.
One last thought, there's a young girl named Natalie who needs our prayers. She's 11 and has been dx'd with pelvic floor sarcoma. Right now she's in the hospital, and awaiting surgery. However she is too sick and weak for the doctors to attempt it. She is in a lot of pain. Her family could use your prayer support also.
