SHOKK>wow amazing story about your daughter and so sad about her teacher.

We had mudbugs that would come out in our yard in Houston whenever we had gully washers!

Good evening Circle Ladies!  Mighty quiet this evening but sometimes its good to take some time and spend with our families.

Cherryl -- howdy fellow aquarian knitting buddy.  :)

Angel -- I hope you get plenty of rest tonight. Remember you are still healing.  You have been through alot this year physically and even though you may be feeling better, your body will take a long time to heal internally from all the trauma.

Neesie -- good evening to you.  I'm there with you on the eating of creepy crawly things.

WildJan -- thank you for all your help with finding a good camera.  Your pictures are amazing.  You should think of entering them in some of the contests they have out there.

Amy -- I hope you get rested up for your next chemo treatment this week.  I'm praying that this chemo is kicking some butt and hopefully the cancer's and not yours.

SloneDeb -- gentle hugs, Deb.  Sometimes I just don't know what to say.  It saddens me that you aren't getting better.  You are a special lady and we love you.

Shokk -- I may not be a Texan but I'm the next best thing...an Arkansan.  LOL!  Us true southern gals need to stick together.  I know you are so proud of your daughter.  Life is good.

Madison  -- I made fun of the crawdads but I know that people really do enjoy them.  Just for the record, other than tuna and fried catfish, I really don't eat seafood or fish of any kind.

Pat, Sahalie -- gentle hugs to you.  Hope you get some rest and see you tomorrow.

Well, I have to commute in to the office tomorrow.  Cry So, its off to bed for me.

Well, I'm going to give this a whirl today, so here goes...

Candie, I'm glad you're enjoying your aquacise class, it sounds like fun,  but be careful!

Jasmine, I liked the pic you posted this morning, very suitable for a
Wednesday. I love the pansy pic too, the colors are so bright.  My favorite pansies are the yellow with a black center. I'm a taurus so I'm not anal retentive but am definitely stubborn!

Jan, I enjoy seeing your pictures everyday. I visit the dreamers thread too so will I will look for them there.

Charlene, I'm glad you had a good nights sleep, hope your day went well.

Sahalie, good luck on Friday. I alway get a little anxious when it's time for my onc appt. too.

Amy, how are Mazer, the goats, the puppies, and everyone else!  I
haven't seen any goat pics lately.  Once you get used to it chrocheting it is pretty easy, you'll be a pro before you know it.

Slonedeb, Happy birthday! I hope you had a good day. Good luck next week with your tests.

Shokk, what a nice story about your daughter...what an accomplishment for her.  I can see why you're so proud!

I got my appt. card in the mail today. The head CT is schedule for Wed, Jan 30 at 8:40AM.  Hopefully they'll just find my brain and nothing else.

I'm off to finish watching Project Runway.  See you tomorrow.

Well another good day has come and gone.  I hope everyone had a good one!

I love standard seafood .. lobster, crab, salmon, etc, but I don't think I've ever had a crawfish!    Doesn't sound appealing but I'd try almost anything once.

    Madison:  What is etouffe?

Jasmine:  I do need to remind myself of that from time to time.  I easily tire and overdo.  As anal retentive as I am it's been hard to let things go at home as I've had to so much this year ... but it's also taught me to put certain things in perspective!  I hope we still get to see a rise and shine post from you even though you have to go into the office!

Candie:  How did your aquasize class go tonight?  Better than the last one I hope?

Pat:  What a nice post to everyone.  You're like an old pro at it!  Good that you have a date for your CT scan.  We'll be right there with you.

Well off to check out some other threads before I call it a night.  Hoping everyone has a nice peaceful nights rest.

I am late again. It is after 10:00 and I have had a day. Just doesn't seem complete without coming to say hi.

Charlene-I was eating peanut m&m's and drinking wine tonight. Thinking of you my friend.

Amy-The boys are busy being boys. They did great at their karate tournament last week-end.

As much as I want to write to you all I must work tomorrow so I must sleep tonight.

Hope I have more time for visiting tomorrow.

    Dream of happy things.

Good morning Circle Ladies.  Rise and Shine!  Just two more days until the weekend.  Boy, this sure seems like a looooong week.

Here is another photo I took last summer at the Old Mill

This is the old mill that is seen in the opening scene in Gone With the Wind.  It was built in 1933 with stones from another mill called Pugh's Mill.   The 'wooden' bridges are actually sculpted out of concrete by an artist from Mexico City, Mexico.

    Good morning my friends

BMD:   awww, love that you thought of me while indulging in one of my favorite combinations!   I know you've been working hard, hope you're not overdoing it.  How are you healing and feeling?

Jasmine:  Another Great song to get moving to!   That is a nice picture of the old mill.  Thank you for the history with it, very cool. Have a good day at the office!

    Wild/Jan:  Good morning to you!

    Everyone have a nice day.

    Good Morning all,

Jaz nice pic.  I love pics of old stuff.  Can't wait till you get that new camera going.

Wildjan-just not the same not seeing a pic from you.

Madison-your post made me hungry.  Guess I might need to make a drive to popeyes during lunch and have some etouffe.  It will sure beat to heck my morning oatmeal.

Charlene-you would like crawfish I would think if you like shrimp and lobster.  Its along the same kind of texture and a good taste.

nessie-Aww where is your sense of adventure when it comes to crawfish.

BMD-glad to hear the boys had a good tournament.  I know you were a proud mom sitting there watching.

Pat-what a nice post.  You have been around a while to know about Mazer.  Goats are doing well except we had one give birth yesterday too early and none of them lived.  Bless her heart she had 4 in there and they were 2 weeks early so I am sure the lungs were not developed.  She seems to be doing well.  They sure were pretty little things and about the size of a grown chihuahua with longer legs.  Ours are minature so thats why they are so small.  They were all boys so at least we didnt lose any newborn girls.  I know that sounds mean but the girls are where the money is.

Candie-you are right, it is hard to remember everybody when you start typing.  Chemo brain at its best.

Deb-hope things are going well for you.

Hope everyone has a wonderful thursday.

Ames got my head stuck way far in the sand with my ass sticking up in the air......ha.......if you come to Texas you will have to catch me first.............oh yeah..............I can't run..........ok you will have to find me first and I will not be hiding in the closet...........ok now really I do understand knowledge is power.......but for the life of me I can't understand why reading my own path report is going to help me..........my doctor pretty much read it to me the second time I saw her and of course I really did not understand much of what she said to me and of course now I could read it myself but just not sure how it would change my treatment..........we are all just playing a waiting game now.........there is no further treatment unless recurrence, mets, or a new secondary or primary.....there are no ai's or anything for us triple negatives.........I remember DebC said she read her path report and just sat on her floor and bawled.......I mean I get it..........but how did that change her treatment????? Shokk, you can run but you cant hide,,,,ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaa

I understand what you are saying totally and sometimes the head in the sand in the best approach.  Why worry until you have to?  Just file that path report into your medical folder and get it off the counter and at least one thing will be accomlished.  right?

BMD-glad to see you stopping by.  come back later when you can set a spell.

Sending prayers to those in need.

    Amy, you'll get great results.

    Shokk, follow your heart.

Yes, daughter is being deployed Saturday (her window of deployment started at midnight).   I just spoke to her and she is making sure all her bags are packed with the required items.  They are NOT allowed to wear anything on base that is not uniform.  Only civilian clothes allowed is what they wear at night to sleep in.

I mailed a goodie package Tuesday (hoping it reaches her within a few days of arrival)......She is flying "there" with her flight group and they will be together for the duration of deployment.

    Back to work for me..................

    Hugs to all in need.

I do love the image of you flipping it the bird though....
