    Wild Jan-excellent pics again.

Shokk-sure didnt mean to leave you out honey.  Where you been hiding?  At least its cold in Texas and not storming so you are able to venture out of the closet for a while.  Hope things are going well.

Okay, I've got a pet peeve to air here!

Do you ever just want to slap the parking lot basket collectors at Walmart silly?

I just got back from Wally world and I swear I couldn't get one single basket separated to use.  I actually had to go into the store and get someone to come separate the baskets for me.

Thank you PAM, you can see all the things I saw in that photo from your description! Its quite a compliment when one can see what the "artist" does in their work....

ALWAYSHOPE>I'm surprised your carts don't have workers right there pulling the carts apart and putting them where we can just grab one on our way through the inner doors. Our local one usually has one or two people doing just that!

AMY>hope your scan goes well. Are you handling the chemo okay? Aren't you working yet too while taking it?

    Good afternoon Circle Ladies.

WildJan -- on the really busy days they usually have baskets up by the greeter desk at each entrance.  I think because this was a 'slow peak' time, you were supposed to fend for yourself.

By the way, I wanted to ask you, what type of memory card did you get to use?  I know it comes with 32 mb one but that is really small for an 8 mp camera.   I still haven't taken any pics.  I'm taking my time just learning the controls.  I love this camera.  It has so many more possibilities than the other digital I had.

Maybe in another 2-3 years the digital slr's will come down in price and I can step up to one of those.  I still have my Canon AE-1 35mm though I haven't taken it out to use in years.

Also, do you use any type of filter, like a UV filter, to protect your lense?

Amy: How's your weather there, warming up yet? Goodness that seems unreal for 'Bama! Will be all the way with you on Friday.

Pam: Good to see your warm face here again.

Candie: Every day is a day closer to spring is a good way of looking at it!

Jas: LOL That is so frustrating when those carts stick together! Try getting them apart with a two year old in your arms!

Wow, I just saw that Heath Ledger was found dead in Mary-Kate Olson's apt. Preliminary talk is a possible drug OD. He was there for an appt. with a masseuse. 28 years old. Left a two year old behind I believe.

Wow!  That is so young.  Those Olson twins sure did turn out different than I would have ever expected.  When they were on the Full House show their parents seemed to have them so grounded.  That's really very sad.

Yes it is sad.  Audrey Loves Full House and watches it in reruns on Nickelodean.  She also watches Zoey 101.  I'm waiting for her to find out that Jamie Lynn Spears got pregnant.  Sigh.....

I just wanted to thank everyone for the welcome and for letting me freak out here yesterday...I'm usually not like that.  I'm usually pretty calm and practical but instead of just calling my onc, like I should have, I "googled" too much.  I did go talk to my onc's nurse and onc yesterday.  My onc said many things can cause the condition, not just brain tumors and MS.  She also said she doubts very much that I have a brain tumor but will do a CT scan to relieve my mind.  So, something else to worry about :) but I guess it's better to just get it done.

Pat -- gentle hugs.  I think you are going to be just fine.  Getting a scan will just confirm that so you can get the results and then move on and enjoy your life again.

Hugs,Pat...I am sure you will be ok. It is ok to freak out, we all do, what with all some have gone through and all.

I had a  little scare after my Aquacise class last night. Usually there are about 10-15 of us, but last night we were just 4. The instructor was moving us quickly and I keep up the best I can. I am so not physically fit, it is terrible. Anyway, after some aerobics, we sat on a noodle, and pretended we were bicycle riding all around the pool. Remember this is an olympic size pool. There is usually so many of us and we all go at our own speed...when we get there we get there. But 'cause there were only 4 of us and the other 3 were so far ahead of me I tried to keep up with them the rest of the class. I felt out of breath when we did the bicycle around the pool again. But I just was determined to keep up. By the end of the class, I was very tired. As I was walking to the lockers, I couldn't catch my breath and one of the women called the lifeguard. Her and another person there gave me water to drink made me relax and took me into the locker room cause they said the pool area was 84 degrees and that was too hot for me to stay in since I didn't feel well. I didn't feel the heat cause I was in the water the whole time. After about 15 minutes I felt pretty much ok. I didn't have my xanax with me ( I also get anxiety attacks) as I leave my purse in the car. I got to the car...took a xanax...and by the time I got home and showered I was ok.  It was quite scarey. You know I am still smoking, so I am sure that didn't help the situation. I have to quit...but why don't I? I do think I pushed myself last night and it was the third day in a row that I went. I enjoy it and I am determined to get rid of this knee pain and lose weight!! Oh well, enough of me rambling. I am at work tonight, another 9-9 day. The best part is from 5-9 I can spend it on bc.org boards...so I catch up.

    Have a great night all...

    Hugs and prayers,

    Candie

Candie ... That sounds very scary.  Nothing like not being able to catch your breath.  I understand why you did it but I think you need to pace yourself if you find yourself in that situation again!  Don't worry about the others .. they'll wait!  I'm a smoker too and need to quit.  I keep waiting for life to not be so stressful but it's apparent that That's not going to happen!  Be proud of your exercise accomplishments and take it a day at a time!

To all my friends, I'm thinking of you and wishing you pleasant colorful dreams and a peaceful nights rest.

Hi to all.... my  name is Tammie and I'm completely new to this arena.  I do not have breast cancer, but my mother had a double mas. in Sept. Stage 3A, 5 of 19 lymph nodes involved.  Not sure of all the names/titles/statistics my sister has been transporting mom for appointments.  It's frustrating standing back and knowing that my mom has pain, concerns and issues that I can't fix.  I continued to run the family business for her, but we have recently closed it.  (I hope to re-open it in April for myself.  Mom has decided that it's more than she can handle with several medical issues going on at once.

Is there anything in particular that anyone can suggest that would be of assistance to her from this point on?  I'm frustrated and fear that I will let her down in some way.  (I've actually found a lump and been checked with mammogram since her surgery - but I never told her or my sister.  I felt that they already had their hands full and mom didn't need something else to worry about.  However the results were negative - I'm sure a reason to celebrate - but I feel guilty that I have had a clean bill of health and I haven't even told her about that.  Don't want to feel like I'm rubbing it in.  (There were only two people that I told that I even suspected anything, my boyfriend and another close friend of mine).  I don't want to let my mom down, but it seems that all my sister and I do is argue and I do not want to upset mom, therefore I tend to stay away.

Anything you suggest would be appreciated.  (Also, I don't have web access very often, so please don't feel that I am ignoring if I don't respond right away.  I only have internet access about once every two weeks.....

....Wishing all a good night and a better day tomorrow!!!

    Tammie

    Hi girls,

Jan, those icecycles hanging off the tree - cool.

Jasmine, I am so ready for spring.  Oh, and those sticking grocery carts are a definite pet peeve.

Char, sorry you didn't sleep well last night, hope tonight is better.  Didn't realize Heath Ledger was in Mary Kate Olson's apt.

Deb, I'd be happy to send some cold weather your way.

Amy, how are you feeling today?  Good luck Friday.

    Did I miss Shokk's post?

Hi Candie.  Hope today went better than last night.  Don't try to keep up - do what you can do - you should have seen me at boot camp - was always the last one when we ran.

Pat, hugs o you.  Sometimes too much knowledge, intead of being power, is scary.

    Good Morning Ladies

Tammie: Welcome and hugs to you. I'm sorry for what your mom and all of you are having to deal with. I'm not sure what suggestions to make without knowing more about you and your family. Is there any way you can partake in the appointments? Have you asked your mom what she needs? I bet she's exhausted and maybe cooking and cleaning at home would help immensely. There's a great thread here under Connect With Others entitled For Family and Friends Of Those Who Have Breast Cancer that I'm sure you will find valuable. My SO frequented it after my dx and was able to get alot of questions answered and also connect with other caregivers. Best of luck to you.

Margaret: I slept like a baby last night, thank you. I don't know if Mary Kate Olson was there but I read that's where Heath Ledger was found.

BMD: Always nice seeing you. How is the house selling going?

Sahalie: Those appointments always bring up the anxiety level don't they? I have my ativan on hand just for those times! That's great that your labs are normal!

Jasmine: I'm feeling like that baby this morning! The surprise song is Just what I needed! Love that video!

Candie: I understand the apprehension. Once you get through tonights class you'll feel much better! Good luck tonight. Heatwave ... hahahaha

Wild/Jan: Get any pictures of the moon last night?

MB:  How's your mom doing?  Thinking of you.

Madison:  How was your Mardi Gras Ball?

Well somehow I missed that last night was a full moon. Could explain alot of crazy stuff that happened yesterday! Hoping everyone has a good day today.

I put my photo in the dreamers thread...seems to be more over there for now so dropping them in there for all to see and enjoy. I don't want to clutter up more than one thread so I don't agitate anyone with my photos. AccuWeather just picked my moon photo for pic of the day! So for now be checking in the dreamers thread for my photos.

    Good Morning all.

Jaz-I'm sure you can handle the carpet no doubt.  We like to drive wild though, can you handle that?

Charlene-glad you slept well last night.  Swoooosh,,makes it all better.

    MB-how are things with you?

Madison-I made a square can you believe it?  I knows its not much for you but for this crocheted challenged gal, its a big ordeal.

Deb-gotten any colder in Alaska?  Hmm something doesnt seem right with that question?

Tammie-just being there for your mom is a big deal.  She needs to know she can laugh and cry with you and that you will be there regardless.  You can tell from just reading the boards that even after treatment the cancer fear is still there and never goes away.  thinking of you.

BMD-always nice to see you dropping by.  How are the boys?

WildJan-didnt see a pic from you this morning and I always look forward to seeing your creativity.  yes I am working during treatment.  Single parent so need I say more? lol

Sahalie-I know what you mean about anticipation of an appointment.  Does wonders for your nerves, doesnt it?

Margaret-how are things in sunny california?  Hows your sister?

Guess I need to get busy here at work and accomplish some things.
