Thinking of you Deb.  Sure makes my shingles sound like nothing when compared to what is going through your mind.  I'm here if you need me.

(((((Deb))))) - not the news I wanted to hear, but since you haven't been feeling well lately - could it be a low grade infection??? That could give you swollen nodes. I would have chosen door #3 too. Ask them if they can have it read by the pathologist STAT so you do not have to wait for the results. Waiting is the pits. I will be praying for good news. Did they mention the 2 cm node in November when you had that scan done? Just wondering. Will be with you on Wednesday for the CT scan and next week for the biopsy.

Amy - shingles ouch!!! I remember someone posted one time something they did for shingles but can't remember who or what. Hopefully whoever it was will see your post.

    Love and hugs to all,

    Suz

Even though the PS said "no hugging for three weeks", I'm sending you an extra big bear hug and lots of prayers, Deb.  Everything gonna be alright.  I would've picked #3 too.

P.S.  Big ol' smile on my face.  It's nice to see everyone rallying with support once more.

Deb, I know it's not what you wanted to hear, so sorry!  Glad you are being proactive and finding out ASAP what is going on.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.

You guys are the best.  Thanks for all the hugs.  I won't tell the PS on you Lini :)

No one said a word about nodes in November, so I am floored to hear it now.  It's like they said...Oh, whoops...look what we have HERE!  Grrrr.....

I feel better after talking to the doc.  He said that he is worried, but not in panic mode (good thing to have a doc who doesn't panic ***grin***)  He said that even if we would have seen that one node in November it would have been something we most likely would have just kept an eye on and rescanned anyway.

It is so hard when I am in the middle of this to realize that the whole world is not going to drop everything and handle my little crisis.  I'm glad I have all of you to hold my hand.

    Hugs

    Deb,

So sorry to hear there are worrisome areas. However, they are "worrisome" and nothing else at this point. Praying that all will be well. We'll be with you on Wednesday and Thursday.

Hey Circle, just got home from a long weekend trip, and I'm exhausted and a little sick (just a virus) so I'm hitting the hay without reading.

    Hugs to all...

Deb - breathe....worriesome is not the same as confirmed.  Because of our dx anything out of the ordinary is considered worriesome.  You may recall I had a lymph node bx a few months back and it was negative.  They think maybe it was swollen because I had the flu and was running a fever.  So, please try to stay with the now.  I know this is very hard but may you find comfort in knowing we are all praying for B9 results for you.

Sending you a great big hug.

DebC:  I know the last 24 hours have been hard on you.  This is the first place I visited when I woke up this morning - you were on my mind.  The whole world doesnt stop - but our world does.  So many of us care for you very much and we are here for you.  Standing with you.

Hey ladies....Thanks for the hugs.  I got a bit of sleep.  My friend insisted we still need to work out, so I am off to the gym for a walk.  Hopefully it will burn off some stress.

One thing my mind keeps going back to....When My PCP ordered the CT scan, he told me that cancer in the nodes rarely hurts.  My neck and shoulder still ache and hurt.  MAybe that is a good sign...

OK...off to walk.  I'll be back.  You guys are my lifeline :)

    Deb--

Woke up in the middle of the night thinking about you. Sure wish I was there so I could be some help. I know how close you are to your family and what a terrific husband and daughters you have---I'm sure they are all there to love and support you. We've all heard the same advice---keep busy, don't assume the worst unless that is what is presented to you---and we all know that's really hard to actually make happen---at least the assuming part!

It's time to break out donkeys, horses, carpets, chocolate fountains---all of the support equipment the Circle can muster---you know we'll be there with you all the way.

    Love you, classy lady---

Good morning circle girls............I have a story to tell............DebC I'm not sure this applies to you but anyway in January I had my regular 3 month check up with onc and 6 month mammogram with bc surgeon......two year anniversary of bc dx......anyway in January now every year will have chest x-ray.....don't know if you guys remember but when I was first dx my chest lit up like a Christmas tree during regular scanning......had lung biospy and was dx with sarcoidosis but it was not cancer.......anyway over the Christmas holidays I started coughing (which by the way is not unusual) because about twice a year I will have a "episode" of coughing spells that last about a month.....but this time the coughing sounded different and felt different........I just knew this time it was going to be lung mets........didn't call the onc because I was going to have my test in mid Januaray anyway and was trying to apply the two week rule......(sorry this is so long).....anyway the chest x-ray in January showed a bunch of new activity so last Wednesday I went in for a bronchoscopy (lung biopsy)which is day surgery........the doctor told me to call him on Friday for results.......which was weird because I thought he would call the onc and I would get the call to come to her office and bring someone with me......ya'll know what I'm talking about......anyway lung doc called Friday afternoon and said he found no evidence of cancer in the lungs but that the sarcoid had progress........I could not freaking believe it......the progression of sarcoid is not good but hell bells it is not cancer.......so in two weeks I get to start treatment first with steroids and if this doesn't at least slow down the progression I will do a mild oral chemo.......Laughing.........anyway Deb my lymph nodes in my lungs and in my throat and neck have been swollen and have been a bit painful......also have been running a low grade fever and have been very fatigue........my doc says most people are not happy about starting a steroid treatment.....hell been there done that.....doesn't bother me..........so maybe sweetheart it could be something else......you just never know........Shokk

Deb - praying that it is something else. It is true once you have a bc diagnosis everything that is the least bit unusual is worrisome. Staying busy is probably helpful and exercise is supposed to relieve stress. Sending you hugs. Wish they could just drop everything and get to the bottom of this so you would not have to wait and worry.

Who will be driving the magic carpet tomorrow? Don't forget to pick me up. It is going to be downright freezing so make sure you guys are all bundled up - but no snow storms in the forecast for the week.

Shokk - Sounds like you have been through a lot too. So glad it was just the sarcoid and not cancer. I hope that the steroids will stop it in its tracks. Sending you hugs too!

Well gotta get back to work.

Love and hugs to all from A to Z,

    Suz
