    Hellos circle fiends....

Yes it's good to be back home again..yes it is

I am out of town (getting ready to attend a Celtic Woman concert)

    Cy---love you

I read where Indi needs some hugs.

I can't go back very far on the blackberry......however I know one of our sisters has a husband in the hospital...saying a prayer for you

Sending support to all in need

I posted this on another thread but I think it deserves being said again

I will weep when you are weeping

When you laugh I'll laugh with you

I will share your joy and sorrow

till we've seen this journey through

We are all together, around the campfire, giving support to all in need...........

What a sight for sore eyes.  It's so good to see things the way they were when I first joined this forum.  It was the sweet ladies and gentleman in this thread that kept me coming back.

    Hi kids,

I have a big pot of 16 bean soup and ham, cornbread and if you want, I'll fry up some taters & onion.  Yummmmmmmmm.

It's NASCAR Daytona 500 day.  Yes, I do enjoy watching cars go round and round and round in a circle.  LOL

Seems like everyone is watching Cars go round in circles today!  Wish Shirley was here......knowing she 'just' loves it!  Actually, golf is now on at this house..............for the life of me, I don't see anything fun about the ball and stick game!

Corn Bread here today also Liz!  Hubby is making Shrimp Stir Fry.....

Just wanting to say Hi...........back to the couch and elevating the leg........I am not a very good patient!

I am so scared.  My CT scan just came back and it says:

    1. evident interval increase in size and number of supraclavicular lymph nodes bilaterally, more pronounced on the left side.  The appearance is worrisome for metastatic disease.
    2. There was a 2 cm pathologic appearing node in the right axillary region on the CT scan from November of 2007.  This node is not included on today's examination so assessment for interval change cannot be made.
    3. CT scan of the chest is recommended, beginning at the mid cervical level.

    I am so scared....

Son of a bitch ... Deb ... I've been thinking about you all weekend.  I feel like I've been punched in the stomach along with you.  I just posted on the other thread looking for you.

I'm stunned and I just can't believe or accept this.

Okay ... it says "worrisome."  So, I guess we can worry, but not panic.  When is the next CT of your chest?  And what can we do?

Oh geez ... I'm praying so hard right now... God watch over you and give you strength!!

    love you and hug you,

    Bren

I am holding your hand, too! Yes, it is very scary but I know you can do this! Worrisome does not mean cancer! It means more tests!

You guys are the best!  I am hanging in there.  I have just had the worst feeling in the past 3 or 4 weeks.  I just don't feel right.  I think that scares me as much as the tests.  I keep trying to put it off to the new exercise program....

ANyway, I am so glad to find out that the doc that is covering for my PCP who is on vacation is a guy I know well...and a good doc too boot :)

He asked me what would make ME the most comfortable...

    1.  wait and rescan in a few months

    2.  core biopsy one of the nodes

    3.  surgical biopsy of one of the nodes.

I chose door number three.  I have another scan on Wednesday to show the rest of my chest and abdomen to compare to the one in November.

I also have an appointment on Thursday to meet the local surgeon for the biopsy consult.

Hopefully by this time next week (which sounds like a million years from now) I will have some real answers.

    Deb,

Glad that you got the ball rolling but yes, this next week or so is going to seem like a million years.  I'm sorry that you are so worried, sorry that you are having to deal with this problem - sorry there is such a thing as breast cancer.

Just know that you have lots of ladies, some you know well and some just by names and post, wrapping you in love and prayers.  I hope that can give you some comfort.
