The official cast of Dancing with the Stars season 24 is here! On Good Morning America, the 12 new couples who will compete for the Mirror Ball trophy were revealed. The line-up includes Olympic champions, celebrities from the '70s, '80s and '90s, a bull rider and a baseball player.

The youngest star this is season is Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles, whose gymnastics teammate Laurie Hernandez was last season's winner. She will turn 20 a week before the competition begins, meaning we'll get a season with no teenagers. The oldest stars are Charo and Mr. T in their mid-60s, and they are the only dancers over 50.

Here's the full list of stars and their pro partners for Dancing with the Stars season 24.

-Olympic gymnast Simone Biles with Sasha Farber
-Olympic figure skater Nancy Kerrigan with Artem Chigvintsev
-Glee star Heather Morris with Maksim Chmerkovskiy
-Fifth Harmony singer Normani Kordei with Val Chmerkovskiy
-Spanish entertainer Charo with Keo Motsepe
-The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne with Gleb Savchenko
-NFL player Rashad Jennings with Emma Slater
-Baseball player David Ross with Lindsay Arnold
-The A-Team star Mr. T with Kym Johnson
-Saturday Night Live comedian Chris Kattan with Witney Carson
-Professional bull rider Bonner Bolton with Sharna Burgess
-The Bachelor star Nick Viall with Peta Murgatroyd

Many of the stars fill standard spots for DWTS. Simone is the show's fifth female gymnast and Nancy Kerrigan is the third female figure skater. Heather Morris is following in the footsteps of her Glee co-star Amber Riley while Erika Jayne is the second Real Housewife of Beverly Hills (the other, Lisa Vanderpump, also had Gleb as her partner).

Nick Viall is the fourth male Bachelor to compete and even Bonner Bolton is the second professional bull rider, after season 8's Ty Murray. And of course Rashad Jennings follows a long, long list of NFL players.

However, season 24 is breaking new ground for DWTS in two long overdue areas. Chris Kattan is the first former Saturday Night Live cast member to be on the show and David Ross will become the first professional baseball player in the ballroom.

On the pro side, Kym Johnson will make her return this season while new parents Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy will try to balance rehearsals and a baby. Keo Motsepe is also back while many of the show's most familiar pros (Derek Hough, Mark Ballas, Cheryl Burke, Tony Dovolani and Karina Smirnoff) will not be on this season.

Dancing with the Stars season 24 begins Monday, March 20 at 8/7c on ABC

Great article, Ruth, about all the new players. The older pros not in this season, I am not surprised. I bet most of them have moved on and wont be back. Wonder about the judges. Looks like an interesting line up. I was a huge Glee fan, so I look forward to what Heather Morris can do. Mista T? I pity the fool! Max and Peta back so soon? We will get some baby video out of that.

    DANCING WITH THE STARS

'Dancing with the Stars' Spoilers: What Are the Songs and Styles for Week 1?
    Tuesday, March 14, 2017

Dancing with the Stars season 24 is almost here, and now we know what song and dance styles the 12 couples will perform for their first routines.

The styles feature the usual mix of Cha-Cha-Chas, Salsas, Viennese Waltzes, a Tango and the dreaded Quickstep. The Viennese Waltz should be perfect for someone as graceful as figure skater Nancy Kerrigan and it should be fun to see Charo's Latin flare with the Salsa. And having the only Tango could definitely help Simone Biles stand out. But baseball player David Ross starting out with the Quickstep is a huge red flag.

As for the songs, there are quite a few very obvious choices. Mr. T is dancing to the theme from The A-Team while Erika Jayne will perform to one of her own songs. Chris Kattan will immediately be heading to a night at the Roxbury with "What Is Love" while David Toss will try to capitalize on the World Series-winning Chicago Cubs.

Here's the complete list of styles and songs for the 12 couples on the premiere of Dancing with the Stars season 24.

    CHA-CHA-CHA
-Bonner Bolton and Sharna Burgess: "Move" by Luke Bryan
-Rashad Jennings and Emma Slater: "24K Magic" by Bruno Mars
-Chris Kattan and Witney Carson: "What Is Love" by Haddaway
-Mr. T and Kym Johnson: "Theme from The A-Team" by Mike Post, Pete Carpenter and the Daniel Caine Orchestra
-Nick Viall and Peta Murgatroyd: "Let Me Love You" by DJ Snake and Tiësto featuring Justin Bieber

    SALSA
-Charo and Keo Motsepe: "Cuban Pete" by Mambo Compañeros
-Erika Jayne and Gleb Savchenko: "XXPEN$IVE" by Erika Jayne

    VIENNESE WALTZ
-Nancy Kerrigan and Artem Chigvintsev: "She's Always a Woman" by Billy Joel
-Heather Morris and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: "Make Something Beautiful" by Ben Rector

    QUICKSTEP
-Normani Kordei and Val Chmerkovskiy: "Good Time Good Life" by Erin Bowman
-David Ross and Lindsay Arnold: "Go Cubs Go" by Steve Goodman

    TANGO
-Simone Biles and Sasha Farber: "Untouchable" by Tritonal and Cash Cash

Dancing with the Stars season 24 premieres Monday, March 20 at 8/7c on ABC.

So exciting! We are huge Bullriding fans, fun to see Bonner Bolton in the line up! When I read the cast of stars, my husband said, "Charo....is she still alive?" Still laughing about that! I love her and she has such energy. Mrs M, your 'pity the fool' comment is hilarious. Thanks for the info Ruth.

Well, I enjoyed the first evening, and sat here with a piece of paper; so here are my notes:

Normani & Val-good, anyone with him is at an advantage.

Nancy & Artem-I really liked her, the very graceful flow and lines of a skater

Chris & Whitney- I didn't think they matched up well physically, he seemed too short and slight for her. I don't see him going very far.

Bonner & Sharna- lots of sex appeal & chemistry, I liked him. The cowboy dance fit him perfectly and it will be interesting to see what he does with some of the other styles of dance.

Charo & Keo-I googled her & she is 66 years old. She still can shake it, but the whole 'Crazy Latin Dancer' thing was a little wearing.

Nick & Peta-I thought he did a pretty good job.

Heather & Maks- a very pretty, nice dance. I think she has potential

David & Lindsey-Cool that they danced to the Cubs theme song, but I don't see him going far

Ericka & Gleb-so-so dancing, not impressed with her personality

Rashad & Emma- one of my favorite dances of the night, he has a very nice way about him

Mr. T & Kym-may be the first one out, in my estimation

Simone & Sasha-very nice, they are a well matched couple & should do very well

    * I was glad to see the regular judges

*Erin still drives me crazy with her stupid comments

    * Glad it is back on!!

I thought the show was good, too! I saw a number of contenders. Heather will go far, tho she downplays being Beynce's backup dancer plus all the Glee dance routines she did on that show. So regardless what she says, she comes with experience.

I am thrilled to see Emma with a contender, Rashad, rather than the token lovable old guy.

I look forward to seeing many more dances from Simone.

I wasn't impressed with Bonner. Nick, tho, with Peta, I thought was funny and fun to watch, and I have never ever watched any Bachelor shows.

Chris Kattan, Mr. T, Charro, they should all be gone soon! Anyone I haven't mentioned seemed good enough for now.

Agree about Erin. And am also glad for the new season!

I enjoyed tonight's show and agreed with the outcome.

I liked Normani/Val and Rashad/Emma the best. Simone, as expected, was very good as well. Bonner & Sharna did a good job; I agreed with the judge who commented that it was simple and well done (as opposed to some that were too hard for the contestants and looked it). I thought both Erica & Charo did a lot better than last week, but I still am not impressed with their personalities. Mr. T will probably be the next to go.

I do not care for Charro, either. Agree with the eliminated choice. How about that Housewife said something to Gleb like, " it's not your job to like me, it's your job to make me look good". Nothing like making sure image is all you live for! Emma and Rashad were hot, loved the costuming and routine. Was surprised Simone wasn't scored higher. Thought the show was good. Len was ridiculously picky.

Fell asleep while watching on monday night and haven't had the time to rewatch what I missed. Charro drives me crazy as well. Agree MrsM Len was sure in a "mood" and because I woke up right at the end I just took myself off to bed so I forgot to vote. I know Chris was awful but he was brave to attempt dancing after all his surgeries.

Cheryl, I agree about Chris being brave. He was fun to watch. I am so uncoordinated, I identify with the worst out there. Mr T really wants to be better....the boxing ring was super fun, agreed?

Charo Threatens to Quit Dancing With the Stars After Being Scored "Very Unfairly" by the Judges

    By: BILLY NILLES

    Wed., Mar. 29, 2017 2:25 PM PDT

If you thought Charo was passionate on the Dancing With the Stars ballroom floor, you haven't seen anything yet.

E! News has learned that the fiery flamenco guitarist is threatening to give up her mirrorball trophy dreams and walk away from the competition altogether. "Charo was super upset this week about her scoring and she feels like she's being treated and scored very unfairly," our source told us. "She is seriously upset."

In the two weeks of competition, Charo has earned a 21 and a 25 out of 40 from the judges, and she saw herself nearly eliminated at the end of week two when she was the last dancer revealed to be safe. Chris Kattan was ultimately eliminated. It was after that brush with elimination that the star took her complaints to producers.

"She was telling producers that she doesn't like how they're underscoring her and she feels like she's been treated so badly so she was threatening to quit," our source continued. The producers were ultimately able to walk her back off the ledge, but we hear the threat still stands "unless they started scoring her performances more fairly."

Our sources tell us that the question of fairness remains a sensitive subject among the cast. Between Heather Morris' dance background, Len Goodman's rather harsh critiques during Monday night's taping, and questions about who else among the stars has previous dance experience, we're told tensions are high.

When E! News spoke with Charo and her partner Keo Motsepe immediately after she was spared from elimination, she didn't hold back about her disappointment over how the night went—and not just for herself. "I was very upset that they kicked out Chris," she said. "I was about to make a deal. I go, and he stays. But I don't think the rules allow that. He tried very hard and it's so beautiful. Also, I was very upset that they gave [better scores] to Mr. T."

A rep for Charo tells E! News, "Charo loves ABC and DWTS and she appreciates the opportunity afforded to her to be a part of the show." Request for comment from ABC was not immediately returned.

Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Sounds like Charro doesn't understand the rules of the show. Also, she is a bad sport. Heather Morris isn't the first contrstant with dance experience. Charro is terrible. Let her walk if she wants

A good show tonight. Erin looked unusually nice, and I loved Julianne and Derrick's dance.

I agreed with everything the judges said. I thought Normandi & Val were especially good. David & Lindsey were very good & silly too. Nancy & Artem, Simone & Sasha, Brittany & Alan, Nick & Peta.....all very good. Even though it wasn't his best dance, I do love Rashad & Emma. Tonight I didn't even mind Charo!

I loved Las Vegas night! Really, there wasn't a bad dance in all of them, a real surprise. Even Mr. T and Charo had cute routines. I absolutely loved the opening number featuring all the contestants. Normani was great and so was David as Magic Mike. I actually didn't care for Derrick and Julianne's routine, too dramatic for me for DWTS. I thought Heather Morris was okay but didn't like her hair which seemed sloppy and was distracting. The Housewife seemed like she was trying to hard to look younger. Love Simone and am surprised she didn't score higher. How does she prance/float down those stairs in high heals without ever seeming to touch the floor?

Overall, one of my favorite episodes. The costumes were fabulous and the set designs were incredible. The creativity we see week after week on this show never ceases to amaze me!

Dancing ability-wise, Mr. T should be the next to go, but I'd rather it be the Real Housewife because I still am not crazy about her personality. I thought that Simone should have been scored higher too. A very fun night all the way around!

First post here- big DWTS fan. My question to Carrie Ann- how do you deduct a point from Simone for a lift when she can "lift herself" six feet in the air without a partner?

Loved the whole show tonight. Also not a Housewife fan

I noticed. Just don't know how to apply it to Simone since a lift ( as I understand) is getting off the ground by your partner in a way you could not do alone. Guess she has to act like Simone has the gravity issues as they others. Lol!

Len seemed to be in a good mood tonight. I really liked Erin's dress.

I always love most memorable year, but I could do without the judges blubbering over all the dances.

Nancy Karrigan, meh. But the judges loved her. Nick, also meh. Normani, average. Heather Morris...sorry, but her hair is so scraggly, get that stuff under control! It distracted me so much I didn't pay attention to her routine.

Mr. T., he does have presence and Kym does great with him...but it's sort of like watching him dance in slow motion.

    Rashad...wonderful backstory and great dance.

The baseball player is my kinda man, his dance was average.

The housewife's dance wasn't that great, but I do admire women who go after what they want, so I liked her backstory, but in being a go getter, it doesn't make sense that she panders to men and what they think the image of a woman should be. She just isn't really an original, she seems to be following a formula, long platinum hair, big boobs, bustierre, garter and thigh high boots. Yep, seen that so often its boring.

Simone...loved her dance, her dress, her story.

Wow, Bonner's dance and the song that went with it was a terrific last dance of the night! Loved it.

    Very good show!

    * Simone did the best she's done so far; I think it was because she wasn't doing 'gymnastics' but was doing a heartfelt dance (and doing it very well).

    * Loved Rashad, both the dance and the story.

*I didn't know that Mr. T was a 22 year cancer survivor. A very touching song & story (the dance itself....not so much)

    * Erika.....I don't see her moving out of her sexpot image, but maybe I'll be wrong (I was wrong about Bonner, who did a great job trying a different style tonight).

    * I thought all the dances were good. Lots of interesting and touching backstories.

A nice show. I thought the Bachelor and the baseball player's routines were great fun. Lindsay creates really cute routines. It was my favorite Nancy Karrigan dance, she looked lovely.

The Housewife has an odd personality. Not really much of a connection with her and Gleb. During the dance he bent her way back and I thought her boobs were gonna pop out the dress!

What do you think? Does Simone sort of have this wrapped up? She is just a joy to watch, and Sasha beams on the dance floor at having such a great partner to spin around.

I think Peta had a little bit of somethin done to her face, maybe lip filler...I know she just had a baby, but she comes across as looking somewhat different. Same with Lindsay (minus having a baby).

    Julianne's hair was a bit....goofy......

I had to miss the first 45 minutes, got home just as the Housewife was finishing her routine. All the dances I saw were nice and fun. I thought Nancy's dance was her best so far. I liked Normandi's dance very much too. How did Rashad do? Simone is definitly going to be hard to beat.

I loved the routine Nancy did and yes unless she flubs badly I think it's Simones to lose. Ruth Rashads routine was really nice - Beauty and the Beast. I know I am in the minority but I liked Erika, it's Heather who rubs me the wrong way, she could easily be a professional. Off to vote now.
