I was so in to watching the Biggest Loser I forgot to tune it right before 9 pm to see who got booted off. grrrrrr

I agree with Beth about LT. During the rehersals for the group dance LT kept saying there were stupid moves and would stop dancing. I am glad that LT got the boot.
Ody, I too was flipping back and forth between the biggest loser and DWT but was able to see who got voted off each show. But I think that Tye will be the next one, even though he has made great improvements since the beginning.

You guys need DVR.... It's the greatest thing to ever happen in the land of TV. When the phone rings, or someone wants to interupt your tv show- gone are the days of sshhhhing people, and paying more attention to the tube then to your family... with dvr you press pause, and can fast fwd, rewind, and tape two shows at once- then fast fwd thru commercials so you spend less time in front of the t.v
It's $10 a month extra for it here, but certainly worth it!

Beth I don't have digital cable and I tape (yeah on VHS tapes) NCIS and the Mentalist for my hubby to watch on the weekend on Tuesday's so I can't tape 2 shows at once.

I missed most of the individual dancing last night, I didn't think to set the vcr before I left for my quilt guild meeting. we were meeting at a members quilt shop and it was farther than where we normally meet from my house so I was late getting home. but the team dancing was great. Tye did great in both.
What is it about injuries this season?

Yes, so many injuries. I'm just amazed that the celebs can really blossom into such great dancers. I'm in awe of their athleticism.

I was sad to see Chuck & Julianne go - I was really in a quandry last night because I didn't feel anyone should have gone home. These are going to be such difficult decisions as the weeks go on.

I too was sad to see Chuck go home. With the problems that Melissa had, I felt it should have been her going home. Glad to see that Tye has lasted one more week. I try and pick the underdog person at the beginning of the season and to me he has excelled greatly. Can't wait to see next week.

I think Tye is going home tonight - he has done a great job, but he just isn't up there with the rest of them. He was so sweet last night going over to his wife and kissing her.
I think the final three will be Melissa, Giles and Shawn. I won't count Lil Kim out, but I think the other three are more versatile than Lil Kim. As ever, JMHO.

I am with you Anne on Tye going home tonight, He has done much better and lasted longer than I thought he would have at the beginning but he just doesn't quite get the latin dances.
If Tye goes home tonight my pick to win is Shawn.

Ty def. has to go home tonight. I love his spirit, but compared to everyone else he doesn't measure up. I loved when Gil talked about his kids hugging him and being proud of his dancing, and I love that his wife is at every show. We'll see what happens tonight.

That was quite a suprise - he won't make it to the final three - I think a lot of votes came his way because he was so sentimental. I feel bad for Lil Kim - she deserves to be in the final four. She was very gracious in her loss - I think she may have been in shock herself.

Did you see the looks on Ty & his partner's faces? They were totally stunned - I think they were certain they were going home - I agree that it should not be a popularity contest, but unfortunately, that is what happens anytime the general public has input. It's really too bad - at this point, the public should be voting on skills, not niceness. Which, by the way, I think Lil Kim is nice, I knew nothing about her before this except that she spent some time in jail and now I have a good opinion of her.

Lil Kim was in jail for lying on the witness stand in a trial. Jail is what got her thinking about DWTS, b/c they used to watch it there. I think she served a year- maybe less....
I'm so pissed that she was voted off. She was working so hard, and Derrick is an amazing teacher. I'm surprised at Ty's fan base as well....

I think Ty really has two fan bases - his own and Jewel's. I am sure she has a pretty broad fan base.

I am still upset about lil kim... I know its just a show, and I felt worse when Sabrina and Mark were voted off a few seasons ago (or was that last season? i'm losing my mind)
I think melissa and Gil are going to have incredible dances for the finale, and I can't wait to see their freestyles.

My hubby actually was able to pick up an ABC station last night and saw it (he is trucker and was waiting to get his trailer loaded). He called me after Shawn's Argentine Tango and couldn't believe how perfect it was. He usually gets the results from me and doesn't see the dances. Ty deserves the award for most improved but I agree he needs to go home (even though I pulled for him from the beginning as the dark horse of the competition).

I dunno, Ty is Mr Popular ....he is the Joe The Plumber of DWTS. Gille was AMAZING-he is sooooo hot & passionate-that boy can move! Melissa is so beautiful but her dancing was lacking last night in passion & excitement. Shawn is great, I don't know how a 17 y.o. can pull these sexy dances off, but she does it with style & grace! Looking at it in a cynical way...I would bet that Melissa is going tonite. Looking at it the way it should be, Ty would be going tonite. Can't wait to see what happens! Have a good day all!

I was a little blown away by Shawn - she is a performer, no doubt about it. I feel for Ty, I know he knows he doesn't deserve to be there - he even said so last night - but I think he should go home tonight. I thought Melissa was a little lacking last night and I didn't care for Gille's first dance even though the judges loved it. I am rooting for Shawn now. It's great to have a series that doesn't have a runaway winner - they are all so good (except Ty, who wins most improved).
