The Argentine Tango was unbelieveable!!!! Wow! Donny Osmond was soooooooo sexy doing that tango... Very steamy!! I don't know how they do it. Some couples only had a couple days to reherse. The competition is getting tight.

I really don't think Natalie should have gone home - it's clear that it is still a popularity contest and it was the judges' high scores that kept her in the running. When they didn't score her as well on Monday, poof, she's gone. It's sad because there are celebs who were not as good as her.
Donny was excellent and totally deserved the high scores he got, but Mya was also pretty amazing. I am torn between Mya, Joanna and Donny for the overall winner.

It was a shock to see Natalie go last night. Like you Anne, I think there were worse dances than she did Monday night. I was almost expecting Michel or Aaron to go home. One of them may be the next to go. Kelly is such a trooper to dance Monday in the group dance after she bruised her foot and hopefully it will heal enough to keep her going.
I am also pulling for Donny to win, he seems the most polished of the dancers.

Incredible that Natalie was eliminated. I thought Loui would go. He is just not performing to the level of the other dancers. Man, I hate it when it turns into a popularity contest. It's so nat fair. I agree Mya is a great dancer. She is so graceful. I just love watching her dance.

What did we all think of last night? I thought the best performance was Joanna & Derrick, but I have to say that Michael impressed me more than he did the judges. For going home tonight, it could be Louis (but I really like him) and Michael - if it ends up being a female and a male, it's a toss up between Kelly & Melissa and Michael.
As usual, I thought they were way to hard on Mya. I heard a rumor that one of the stars has been taking dancing lessons for a year in anticipation of this - I wonder if it was her and that is why they are being so hard on her?
We'll see tonight.

Yes, Louis is cute but he has to go. Joanna and Derek rocked the group dance. There's something about her I don't like but that lady sure can dance. I too think the judges are way too hard on Mya. She's great.

I'm going to have to rewind my tape and see what they had to say about Mya. I knew I was going to be in the other room during most of the first hour so I taped that part of the show. I liked the marathon dance aspect of the program. It seemed to make things a little more interesting. Louis just isn't impressing me that much & michael is trying and improving some, I don't know who else I want to see gone this week.
I hadn't heard that rumor about a star taking dance lessons to get ready for the competition. That would skew the total idea of the program, to take raw stars and mold them into ballroom dancers. Almost like putting ringer in the mix.

Finally, the two weakest dancers are gone. Now it's time for some serious dancing! The remaining couples with the exception of the football player are all really doing good. But, I agree, Mya is great! Donny is good too but OMG he is always trying to steel the show.
BTW - what did you guys think of the Cuban performers last night? I was really surprised to see them there. I havet to admit, I'm biased but I thought they were really good. The dancers took me back to happier times when bc was not even on my radar. Oh, how I partied! Those where such happy times.

I am glad that Louie is gone but I thought that Michael would have been the 2nd one not Melissa. I was half watching the show (trying to finish my halloween costume) so I can't comment on the Cuban performers.

I think it will be Michael and Aaron who will go next. I was sorry to see Louis go, but I agree with the judges - based on the dances they did last night only, Michael did better. I was wondering if Michael had been partnered with Cheryl, would he be doing better? He has seemed to made a lot of progress in the last few weeks, but I think it might be too late. I think the order they will go in is this: Michael and Aaron, Kelley, Mark (although he has been really good lately), then it will come down to Donny, Mya and Joanna. I think either Joanna or Mya should win, and I am not sure which one because they are both so good. I was sorry to see Melissa go outright last night, I thought she deserved better than that. She seemed resigned to it and it made me wonder if they tell them in advance.

Anne - I don't think they give them a heads up. I think Melissa was preparing herself because her scores had been very low. Wow, I can't belive she has so many kids.

Well, I'm flummoxed! I thought they all did well last night, if I had to rate them, I would put Mark & Michael at the bottom, but still, they each did well. I don't think anyone deserves to go home tonight. Kelley lucked out by being in the Tango group. I think I am now rooting for Joanna - she is so good except for that little bobble. We'll see what happens tonight.

Joanna is amazing. I feel bad for Mya; I really think that Dimitri should LISTEN to Len and stop putting all that extraneous stuff in his choreo. I agree that Mark and Michael are in the bottom but everyone was great.

I didn't think Mya did anywhere near as good last night as she usually does. In the group dance, though, she kept up with the pros very well. I would hate to see her go home, but it does seem to be a possiblity based on last night. You never know what is going to happen. Who do you think the fans picked for the build a dance? I am almost positive that it is Derick.

Derek's amazing. I vote for him. I agree that anyone could go home. Michael seems to have lots of support and he has improved a lot but he's not as good as most of the others. It's anyone's game.

Wow, I really don't think the two couples selected deserved to be in the bottom two. Not fair! I agree Derek and his partner are amazing.
Barbara - I agree with you. Mya is such a graceful dancer. Dmitry should just focus on that.

Well, it didn't follow my predictions exactly - I though Michael & Aaron would go home, but Aaron was really good last night. I felt bad for Lacey - she looked like she was still sick. I think the last thing she wanted to do was dance. She tried hard, but it just wasn't gonna happen. This is an anything goes season - keeps it interesting.

After the way that Mark danced Monday, I sort of expected him to go home. His dance with Lacy on Tuesday to me looked like more show casing Lacy and Mark doing some of the karate kicks and spins. Aaron actually did plenty of footwork in the elimination dance and I thought that he deserved to stay. Michael had improved but again not to the level of the other dancers.
I think Kelly or Aaron will be one of the next ones to go home.

I thought they all did well last night - I wouldn't want to make the decision. I loved the futuristic passe doble from Derek & Joanna. I think it will be the dance the judges ask for tonight. Derek is a genius, no doubt about it.

I loved all the 'themed' dances it seemed to make the professionals go outside their comfort zone in forcing them to an era and style. I also liked the previews that the stars got to help with the dances and designs of costumes. I agree that Derek is a genius to do the futuristic Passe Doble the way he did. I did also like the 80's Passe Doble that Donnie did and the 60's dance that Kelly did. It will be hard to see anyone of them go.

Love Derek and Joanna! I concur that Derek is a genius. I've never seen anything like it. I think they all did great but feel that Kelly was the weakest in an extremely strong field but she seems to have a lot of fans.

Yeap, they were all good. Derek and Joanna were unbelieveable. OMG - I couldn't stop laughing at Donny's custome. I have to admit it was very distracting. I am glad they added the theme dancing this season. I really enjoyed it. Even DH is enjoying this season. I agree, Kelly is the weakest link. I think she should go home tonight.

I guess I had it correct last week, I said that either Aaron or Kelly would be going home and they were both on the bottom. I thought that Aaron was slightly better than Kelly this week but I do expect Kelly to go home next week. Leaving my pick for the top 3 (in no particular order) as Mya, Joanna, and Donny.
It is hard to decide who will make the top 2 but I think it will be between Mya and Donny.

I really thought Kelly would go home. But, do agree with you lvtwoqlt she will most likely go home next week. Wow, this is one close competition. All three couples are good. This is the first time I don't really have a favorite. Both Mya and Kelly are really, really good. I think Donny is doing much better than what I expected. He looks to have lost a lot of weight and is starting to look like he did a few years back. If I had to chose one couple if would have to be Mya and Dmitry. They have done well throughout the competition. I'm torn because I really like Derek. Has anyone noticed JoAnna has been the first model to get this far and do so well?

What did everyone thing of the build a dance? I thought it was great, but didn't quite live up to the build up. I also thought that Kelly should have been the one to go home last night, but if Aaron had survived, he would have gone home next week - I am certain it will come down to Joanna, Mya and Donny for the top three and I expect it to come down to Mya and Joanna for the final. I think Joanna has an edge with Derek as her pro, but Mya simply is more talented.

I thought Kelly should have gone home last night but agree she will be next. I love her but her dancing isn't up to par with Mya, Joanna and Donny. I like those three as the top three and am also torn between Mya and Joanna. I think that Joanna has a slight edge because of Derek's brilliant choreography and his likeability. I feel that Dmitry's choreo has let Mya down on more than one occasion.

Well, tonight will be very interesting - Neither Mya nor Joanna should go home, I think Donny is a bit better overall than Kelly, even though he messed up royally last night. I'll be in front of the tv tonight!

I'm with you Anne, Donny is overall better than Kelly even though last night I thought that Kelly did a better job than he did. Kelly has matured so much over these past 9 weeks it will be interesting. I will also be glued to the set tonight.

Yes, I will be glued to the TV for sure. I think Kelly should go home. Donny was not at his best last night but he is still a better dancer than Kelly. I am voting for Mya to win. She is awesome!

I concur. I love Kelly and her spirit but I think that Donny is overall better than her. Mya is my girl. She can move!
