Well...can you believe it?  I can't.  Joanna is a much better dancer.  That is so unfair.  There is no way Kelly deserves to be in the finals.  I think the judges have been way too easy on her.  Oh and if she crys one more time I am going to change the channel.  Grrrrrrrrrrrr

It was a shock to see Joanna go instead of Kelly. of course we said the same thing last year when Marie made it to the finals.

I am so disappointed.  I thought that when it got down to the top 4, the popularity issue would be put to rest - I guess not.  Did anyone else see Entertainment Tonight just before the show?  Marie Osmond is their "correspondent" for DWTS and she predicted that Joanna would go home.  Seems a little fishy to me - now I am wondering about who knew what when.  I may not watch next week I am so perturbed by this.

I agree, what a shocker!  There's no way Joanna should have gone home.  I felt that, although I prefer Mya, It could have been either Mya or Joanna winning this year.  As personable as Kelly is and as dramatic as her metamorphasis has been there's no way she should be in the final three.

I too agree that Aaron was better than Kelly and shouldn't have gone home when he did.  2tzus I agree that it appeared that Derek knew.  I'm not sure about the judges backing Mya though, at least not Len.  Until recently he consistently scored her lower than the other two judges.

All I can say now is that Kelly better come in third.

Well, are we watching tonight & tomorrow night?  I had a hissy fit last week, but I have to see it all the way to the end.  If Mya doesn't win tomorrow night, all I can say is that I am so disappointed with the voters.

Wow!  This is tight competition.  I think the winner will be determined by the votes.

I know it will be determined by the voters - I suspect either Donny or Kelly will win because it is a popularity contest.  The judges sent their message - they believe that Mya is the best (although they were right about the free style - way too safe and boring) Donny is second and Kelly is third.  I think Kelly did well last night to keep up with everyone else, yeah, she had some problems, but she doesn't have the same background as either Mya or Donny.  She should be proud of herself, but she doesn't deserve to win.  JMHO

Mya better win!  I agree, Dmitri has again let her down with his choreography.  She's so much better than that.  I, too, am afraid it will turn into a popularity contest.  Donny was great and Kelly did very well but they shouldn't win.  Donny should be second and Kelly third.

I agree that Dmitri let Mya down. She wanted to go 'vegas style' on her freestyle but Dmitri talked her into the 'hairspray' theme. Kelly did well considering her background of no on stage performance of dance background. I hope it will be Mya, Donny, and Kelly.

I too was disappointed with Mya/Dmitri.  What was he thinking?  I was waiting for the choreography to go somewhere but it never did.  This was her chance to show off what she can do but he kept the routine safe.  I think it may have caused her the trophy.

Did you guys vote?  I tried to log on but couldn't vote.  The system just froze.  Boohoo.   I was going to cast my 5 votes for Mya.  I think Kelly has come a long way but the judges were too soft on her last night.  Donny is such a performer and he does have a lot of fans so we shall see what happens.

So Donny won and I'm disappointed.  I thought Mya should have won.  This is two seasons in a row where I felt the best person didn't win.  Last year I was going for Gilles all the way.  I only started watching DWTS in Spring 2007 and already I'm getting jaded.

Don't get me wrong; Donny was amazing just not as good as Mya, IMO.

Barbara - I am disappointed too.  Mya was a far better dancer but I think the free style dance cost her the tropy.  Too bad.  I'm glad Kelly did so well.  It seems she matured a lot during the competition.  I hope she continues her personal growth.  As for Donny, he is always the performer.  Did you guys notice how much weight he lost?  They kept calling him old but he is only 46.  Laughing

Yeah, old!  I must be ancient at 56!  I turn 57 next month so I guess there's no hope for me.  I agree that Dmitri really let Mya down.  He should have listened to her.

I agree that Dmitri let Mya down. No doubt she's the best dancer this season, and the most beautiful!

Donny is probably the oldest to ever win this and I am happy for him, as he represents us the older generation :-). He peaked at the right time.

I know what you mean ladies.  I couldn't believe they were calling him old.  OMG he is my same age.  There is no way 46 is too old (neither is 57)  Laughing

What about that politician that danced the texas two step... can't think of his name now.  they must think he is ancient.    LOL

Tom Delay is his name.  I am really disappointed in the result.  I was glad to see how much Kelly has grown - I remember when Sharon was judging that summer talent show she said that her litttle girl was really sad and that the particular performer (a little girl) made her happy.  It made me realize that Kelly is probably emerging from a severe depression, so I am happy to see her do so well.  Dimiti cost Mya the trophy, no doubt.  Did you notice that the judges basically negated themselves?  Mya had 87 on Monday and Donnie had 85 from Monday.  By giving Donnie first place & 30 and Mya second place and 28, they both had 105 from the judges.

Donnie will be 52 on December 9th - he was born the same year as me - 1957.  Obviously, I don't think 52 is so old.

I was in the car this summer on my way to a hair appointment and a news story came on about an "elderly" woman.  They then went on to say that she was 61!  I thought at the time "Oh my goodness, I'm 5 years away from elderly."  When will broadcasters realize that a lot of people in their 50's, 60's and beyond are still vibrant, healthy (except for the cancer in my case), youthful people.

I consider someone in their 40's as young.

I love this show.  Does anyone know when it will be back on?  Do we have to wait until the fall or does it come on again this spring?

I know what you mean.  I don't think Pam will last very long.  Why on earth are they having Kate Goslin on this show?  I think America has had enough of her by now.  JMO.  I will be watching Hayden from All My Children, I can't think of his real name right now. He is a hottie!

2 hour special Monday night, I am very excited to watch this year.  I am glad Kate G. is on it.  She says she can't dance so I will be anxious to see if she can learn.  I think she is a very interesting person and always watched the show and feel like I know those little kids.  Should be a great season.

Kate didn't dance very well and you could tell she was so nervous.  I voted for her anyway because I wanted her to have another chance and maybe not be so nervous.  That was funny when Jake the bachalor was told to quit sticking him bum out.  I think it will be a good show this time.  I really miss the dancer Lacy, loved her, I wonder why she is not dancing this year.

I think Pamela Anderson did a horrible job. I think she should be the first to go.
