oh I clicked on here by mistake, forgetting that it's elimination night.  Thank you ladies for not spilling the beans!  It's another hour til the show starts here.  GG

I've been watching DWTS since I discovered half way through the first season.  I think she really is the poorest dancer yet.  She pretty much walked through the moves as best she could.

She really had rhythm but yup she walked the moves, poor Tony....

It was like she wasn't even really trying, glad to see her go.  I did think that maybe the judges were a bit mean with some of their comments especially with DL.  GG

I'm glad we don't have to watch her dance again...it's sort of a waste of time and even a bit painful to watch.  At least the others who aren't necessarily that good:  DL, Andy, the Housewife, they are all somewhat entertaining when they dance.

I thought the evening's show was pretty good, even tho it was just elimination.  I liked the segment where the professionals debated the 'who has it easier, the man or the woman celebrity'.  Very interesting comments, and you can see both sides making a good case for what they believe.

I did watch Monday and my thought about Wynonna was, she's walking not dancing.

Andy reminds me of Fred from the B-52's: not the most talented but lots of fun.

Lisa (the Housewife) is lucky that Gleb is a strong lead.  DL - still not very good.

Zendaya & Val - natural & fun.  Aly & Mark - nice choreography, told a story.

Kellie & Derek - love to watch them dance!  Jacoby & Karina - surprisingly good.

Len's sure got his sarcasm finely tuned this season.  Examples: Telling Ingo to dance the paso doble like a matador not an ax murderer.  Telling Andy that any resemblance to the cha cha was sheer coincidence.  Do you think he ad libs those lines or are they scripted?

Hey - Jumping in here.  Did one of the judges compare Wynona to Mt. Rushmore?  I thought that was kinda cruel.  If he (I think it was Len) wanted to say she wasn't dancing enough he could have been less tacky.  Surprised he wasn't booed.

I would have though Ingo would have been a bit better.  Love Kellie and Zendaya.  Missed Ally's dance both nights.  Have to time my goat putting up time in between.  LOL.

Badger - My bet is if Len's lines are not scripted he's at least given suggestions.  Much like the old Hollywood Squares.

    Lots of neat personal stories.

Favorite this week: Aly, her dance suited her perfectly.

Also really enjoyed: Ingo, Andy, Kelly, Shawn

Very good technically, but didn't enjoy as much as other weeks: Jacoby & Zenaya

*thought DL did a lot better than previously, fun routinue

    * might just vote for Lisa because I want to see Gleb dance some more....yum!

My faves this week were Aly & Mark, Kellie & Derek, and (surprisingly) Andy & Sharna.

Either he's growing on me or I'm a sucker for Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, or both!

Val is not only a great dancer but I'm liking his choreography a lot, too.  DL did better.

Least faves were Sean & Victor, not graceful.  Lisa was not good but she's a trooper.

ruthbru, I agree with your comments.  I think Ally's dance was lovely.  There's something about her that I like so well.  Also liked her red costume.  Karina's dress and Kim Johnson's dress were both beautiful as well.  I think the bachelor or that Ingo could go and I wouldn't miss them.  Lisa's dog is screamingly adorable.  I like the women, she actually seems genuine.

DL was pretty good and Andy pulls the emotional heartstrings.  I didn't think the boxer's pasadoble was that impressive.  I'd like to see his professional dancer with a really good celebrity, she looks like she could really cut loose if given something to work with.

I thought that all the dances were pretty good, I was surprised with Andy's dance. Lisa needed more time but I understand her getting sick and not able to practice over the weekend. I loved Ally's dance.

I don't know who I want to see go home because they all were good.

I think Sean and Lisa are my least favorites.  Ali and Zendaya are my favorites.  Usually one of the men is at or near the top of my list but this year none of them really pop for me so far.I thought Victor might be better than he has turned out to be so far.

Oh my goodness, I'm just tuning into the results show and it looks like Brooke Burke is wearing a black thong on her upper chest.  I mean, it looks ridiculous.  lol

A strange fashion statement, to be sure. I'm satisfied with the outcome. This year I think everyone is nice, so will be sad for whomever gets voted off each week.

I agree about Brooke's "thong" dress, the dress itself was nice, but could have done without the chest accessory!

I was happy with the vote, I didn't really like her much, I felt she was quite phony.  GG

Brooke's dress did have that funny neck thing, now that you mentioned it, it did rather look like a thong.

I was happy with the vote as well, I had the feeling that she was trying to be something she wasn't. I thought her choice of rehersal clothing was unusual compared to the others on the show.

Since she was not in good physical health, it was the right choice for her to be voted off.  Still, I never knew her before this show but I thought there was something so adorable about her.  I couldn't imagine living her lifestyle!

Yes, the show is fun and entertaining as usual!

I do not like Zendaya as everyone else seems to.  There's something about her I don't like!  She's a ringer, as my grandma would say.

Aaah!  You see that Andy has come forward!  I have liked him from the beginning.  Sometimes I start out liking someone, but then it doesn't prove true all through the competition, but in this case I think I'm sticking with him.

Regarding Wynonna: sometimes, when people don't dance well, I like them all the more.. but this 'walking not dancing' thing is true.  I didn't see the effort.

I don't mind Ingo at all, even though he is like a model!  Sometimes I don't like those.  BTW, what a cute baby!  Can't remember the name of the man who danced for his baby.

Don't forget: Brooke had thyroid cancer surgery.  Maybe that thong thing is to distract from the scar on her throat?  I know she does make-up too... but something to consider..

bobogirl, it was Jacoby Jones who danced for his son.  I liked that, too.

bobogirl, two women I work with had thyroid cancer, and a horizontal incision is made right in the crease of where the neck meets the top of the chest/shoulder blade.  The surgeon makes the cut so that it blends right into the natural wrinkle around the neck.  It's amazing, you really have to know it's there.  Plus I'm sure Brooke had the best plastic surgery available to conceal any scar.  In December, I had a pencil-eraser sized mole removed from the side of my right cheek by a plastic surgeon.  He made the cut so that the scar would eventually blend in with the natural forming wrinkles on my face.  A chemo nurse saw it less than a month later and thought the scar was years old because it already was healing and concealing so quickly.

Thanks Badger!  Now I know I can count on you whenever I'm like... 'what's her name?'  :)

Mrs. M., that is such good news.  I was just saying that perhaps she's doing strange halter things to distract.  Even though her scar is small she might be self-conscious, you know?

bobogirl, you're welcome but between chemobrain & middle-age you'd better not count on me to remember anything LOL.

I do remember Jacoby telling the story about how his dad abandoned him and how he'll never do that to his son.  Last week, the celebs picked songs that represented the best year of their life and he picked the year his son was born.  Then he danced for him to a song (can't remember the title LOL) about a father watching his son grow up.  That high side kick was great!  Yee Haw!

I saw Brooke on a talk show recently, she allowed a close up of her neck and it is right at the crease, you can't see it , at least on TV!

edited to add - and TV make up Wink

One of my sisters and another gal I work with had surgery to correct the vertebrae in the neck.  To my surprise, they go through the front of the neck, making an incision just like the women who get the horizontal cut for the thyroid operation.  Both my sister and coworker showed me their scars and they are barely noticeable.

Well, I'm just not that big a fan of Brooke.  She's a bit to plastic-Barbie doll-bland-fake for me.

My husband and I watch Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune in the evening.  Whenever they do a little intro with the contestants, chit-chatting about who they are, where they're from, I mute the sound.  I just don't like that part of the show!  So now, on DWTS, after each dance, when the couple goes up and talks to Brooke, I mute their little conversations.  She asks the same darn thing all the time!  Too blah for me!  Lol.  Then I put the sound back on when the judges give their votes.  Lol.
