Well, we keep posting about possible causes of BC but not the weird effects it might have on us. A few weeks ago my PET scan showed that I now have 2 spots on my liver (have had bone mets for over 4 years). A few days later I prepared our Sabbath meals. Without thinking about the connection I'd made chopped liver for an appetizer. Yeah, this disease makes us weird all right.

Leah, did you eat the chopped liver?  Did it seem weird?

I ate it and I'm it didn't seem weird, though DH and I had some secret giggles.

    Actually it was good.

just a funny thing. i am doing physical therapy at my tx place for a partially frozen shoulder, and he saw me struggling a little to finish one set of exercises, and he goes, "just 3 more!" and then he said, "i really only meant two more, but it sounds too much like tumor!" cracked me up! and then i told him that it caught my attention when i heard about the drug 'metformin'!

And then there's the poor kid with a lisp, that can't even say the word 'lisp'. Who the hell thought that one up?!? Medicine is truly strange.

medicine caused our BC.   Okay, so you all are going to make me get some cheetos tomorrow as that is my 'cheat' day.  Hmmmmm, maybe cheat days cause BC!

Leah and kathec, one SE is we learn to laugh at ourselves - beats depression which never cured anything.  Thanks for being you.

oh wow! Just thought of something else that may have given us bc...nom nom cheetos ThumbsUp BUT ... I had a fishtank! Yes! With Guppies, and Swordfish, and Black Mollies, and Gourami's. Lots of chemicals.... slime, and just pure nastiness...Yep...the ol' "FishTank BC Blues" right here!

with all this Cheetos eating we are never going to achieve our new healthy lifestyles!

which is fine because i am sure it was all those Lean Cuisines yuk

Lean cuisines. Oh yeah! Seeing they were awful, and supposedly 'lean', they probably broke down our body's defense against getting BC!

OK, I'm going with Swanson TV Dinners, and more specifically Fried Chicken - because you got a leg, a wing, AND a breast!  Winking I can still relive that metallic taste just by looking at the picture...

But wait,, where's the one that had the apple dessert in the middle square?  There was fried chicken,, one little square of corn, one of mashed pot and the middle square of apple crisp.  That was my favorite!!!

Coulda been the overwhelmingly strong perfume in my Gee, Your Hair Smells Terrific shampoo & conditioner in combination with all that bubblegum Lip Potion.

On that note, why can't they bring back the original green Herbal Essence shampoo? Gosh, I loved the way that stuff smelled.

OMG, I nearly forgot about their Fried Shrimp Dinner with French Fries...  Glennie I think the ones with desserts came later, but I remember them, too.  Maybe they were just more expensive?  I'm not sure...

Someone please remind me NOT to sign on and read here during work.  Gonna make me lose my job when my boss thinks I'm laughing at her!

Jean Nate - yeah.  Loved that stuff (and I think it's still around!)

I remember Jean Nate and Herbal Essence shampoo too. Wasn't it Herbal Essence that had the commercial:  "You can't fool Mother Nature".     Or perhaps I'm remembering something completely different!!

I liked Charlie perfume.  That was my favorite.

Maybe it was the shampoo?  I used to use the Lemon Up and the Body on Tap (that really did smell just like beer)!  Imagine the chemicals in those! Shocked

And you could use both the Lemon Up AND Love's Fresh Lemon cologne.

I used all of those shampoos, plus there was another brand that had Strawberry & Green Apple shampoos.

I think my breast cancer was caused by my little sister.  At least that's the way I remember it...

Alex  You got it! Little Sisters AKA Momma's favorite child.   And to this day, she prances around with such importance.  She's 68  years old.  I, on the other hand, am perfect at 72.  Just ask me.  Jan
