Saint, is that your baby? He or she is really cute. I have a little mini weiner dog, he is the cutest little thing. I am going to walk the beach now and come on down when everyone has some free time.

Margaret, I did make that sugarless cake today, it is different, it did not rise as much as a real sugar cake, it is heavy and moist but taste good. We will have it with pineapple or peaches.
Jaz, a lot of times my computer will only let me do the little pictures, I would like to learn to resize them also. Are you on the beach or still doing daily duties? Will you get to watch big brother tonight?

Girls we need to resize this new page before it gets out of hand like the last page.
It's easy.
For the huge pictures go back to your post and click EDIT.
When page comes on to edit, click the picture.
A long tiny window will come down and at the bottom is says PROPERTIES
Click Properties.
Reduce the size (numbers) in the two oblong boxes by making your picture
no larger than 500 being the largest.
If you have a picture with two different number properties as most do then
just figure your little bit of math and down size the photo.
I usually leave the last two numbers alone and only change the first number.
Example:
780 X 578 (i change to 480 (lower than 500 remember) and 278
The resized picture will show.
If it looks good to you and fits this window without a scrollbar below it then
you are good.
Click Save and your edited photo will fit this window and our page will not go
off the charts.
Simple easy.
Now go try it.

You could even go fix the last page when you have time.
One trick that was taught to me is to type words only above and below the picture.
If you type beside the picture there goes the page off into oblivion.

Whewwwwww beachie-keenie-bunny-bears (I still miss Iris and always have my fingers crossed that she'll pop back in here where we all love her and nestle in on a lounge chair.)
We are safely up here in our little haven of the north..... and as you may have realized, we made a detour to go and hug our dear sweet inspirational SAINT. Saint and I met in the chatroom last year and I invited her up here to paradise, but instead we ended up spending a nite in her guest room on the way up. The woman could open a bed and breakfast.
I remembered to take a couple pictures and I'll download them soon, so you can see her in person..... but SAINT I forgot to have Miss Molly take a pic of the two of us together -- so now you have to come up here to Sister Bay and remind me!! I can't wait for the rest of you to get to know this amazing, dear friend.
I've nearly caught up on my 'real' email and the beach news and will unpack my flip flops as soon as possible. My DH has already had 2 extended trips up here and had so many surprises awaiting my arrival. Like he had a tree removed and has made us a nice little 'patio' of sorts. (Last summer he had a room added so I can have a 'studio' here, too.)
Not only that but he had someone put in a toilet -- in our second bedroom closet!! Picture the smallest smallest smallest space possible to house a toilet and voila!! It will come in handy. Now of course we don't have that storage -- so must sort out where to store fishing poles, nets and life preservers and a big ice chest etc etc.

Good Morning on the Beach.
Wonderful to see the white sand and swaying palms ready for shade giving this weekend.
Ms. Lisa of SoCal. Would that beautiful plant be the Mojave Yucca also known as the
Spanish Dagger. The white bells are so fine but it was the spires that were a helpful hint.

Fog is in again this AM and I love it. My deck is in need of a cleaning as there are a zillion
Redwood dallies on it. When the dogs come inside they have ornaments hanging from their
tails. Redwood ornaments.
Tonight the Olympics begin on USA TV. I sure hope the athlete's don't come home with
respiratory distress from that foul air over there. Purty bad.
