Hi my Fun, Funny, even Funnier Beach Bunnies! I missed you all today. Surfing your day away while I sleep away in my home cabana. NOOOOO cabana boy with me though! In my Dreams though? My cabana boy (DH) was taking care of my boys!

Spar ~ The cake sounds great. As for PEE WEE FOR-GET-IT! ROTFLMAO!  I LOVE Angel's one winged or not. They watch over us & protect us. Even if we don't see them!

Sahalie ~ I'm not sure about Surfing! I would probably end up on my face in the sand! LOL! Lovely words from a lovely person! Treats are most welcome at night. Not sure I would have had time to eat them last nigh. Thank goodness I could get a break in! I work in Long term Care & Rehab for the elderly! After my first week at work I came up with a saying. "We come into this world not sleeping & we go out of this world not sleeping". That said, I love my residents Dearly. There personalities & life experiences make for interesting work! ......Yes I am used to it. I have been doing it for 5 years. My DH was in a head on Collision 8 years ago. Has had 4 back surgeries & is looking at another major 1 soon!  We needed health insurance. I have always wanted to do this (certified nursing assistant)! I took the training & started my second carrer. MOM is the first one! It runs in the family, my mother was a CNA & I was a candi striper as a teen!

Lisa ~ Another winner of a Pic so pretty!

Faith ~ Hope your having fun! On your many adventures! I hope the JUNK IN YOUR TRUNK is ity bity for the tiny toily!

Saint ~ I'm glad FAITH has brought us a SAINT!  I know I need one from time to time! LOL!

Sige ~ I love berries too! Fruit is a Fave!

My head is spinning w/ the catching up to do & no time tonight! I hope the rest of the beachy friends are holding there own on the waves. I hope to catch you all watching the sunset before I'm off too work later!

P.S. Sahalie ~ Paulo issss really Steamy!  As I say It's the EYES that get me.......

    YOU TOO!

I think we need a pajama party on the beach tonight.  Everyone find your favorite pair of pj's and let's have a fashion show.  Then we can tell our favorite ghost stories.

Julz, I agree with Sahalie about you are our angel because cna's work their hineys off and take the time to actually talk to the people and they do have some story's to tell.  Sometimes you can meet one that was alive before oklahoma was declared a state and that blows my mind.  There are still a lot of people alive that is over 100, on the new the other day they had a lady on there that they said was 120 years old.  I feel so bad for your husband and pray this next surgery heals him but I worry about you also.

Sahalie, you are an angel also and so sweet to everyone.  I still want to know if that is you, I get the feeling it is. I know what you mean about that little blurp -burp.

Gonna go find me some jammies

Sahalie -- I know you must be getting excited for your fall trip.  Even though its only August, the time will be here quicker than you realize.  Its nice that you have someone to depend on to take care of things while you are gone.  I'm still working on losing weight to fit into your luggage come October.  So far, I've lost 1 whole pound.  Yahoo!  I would love to see some of your watercolor of the native dress when you get back from your trip.  I'm going to break out the watercolor tomorrow and give it a go.  We shall see how this works out. I've never heard of this 'Flipping Out' show but I will look for it.  I also like "little people, big world."  Matt Roloff puts many people to shame with all he accomplishes on his farm in spite of his disablities.

Spar2 -- what a handsome son you have!  I bet he brings you alot of joy.  He needs to move closer to his mother though so you can enjoy him more.  You are beautiful!  Spar, what a wonderful thing to do giving free meals to those in need.  I do believe that those who are blessed have an obligation to give back.  The 6 year old wants to shop till she drops.  That is so funny.  Where do they hear these things. Your ducks are so cute!  Did you ever get another duck from the flea market?

Julz -- a grandmother at 41!  Wow, that is young enough to enjoy them and keep up.  Enjoy every precious minute because you will turn around and they will be grown and have a life of their own. By the way, you've had Fernando quite long enough.  Its time to share him with the rest of us.  :)

FPAngel -- pie sounds so good too.  You and Lisa are wrecking my diet.  Especially, chocolate pie (sugar free or not).  I'm so glad to see you setting out your beach chair to soak up some sun and enjoy the nice breeze.

Faith -- ah, Barnes and Noble.  Another store I have to avoid or else I can empty my bank account in no time.  I usually order books from Amazon.com.  They are discounted and its nice having them come right to your door!  You can find just about any book you want or need there too.  Golf GPS gizmo....I had no idea that golf was so complex.  What exactly does that do for the golfer.  Just reading about what all you have going on has made me pooped.  I won't be needing that Advil PM tonight to go to sleep.  I'm exxxhaaausted!

Margaret -- hello.  I hope your weekend is shaping up to be one filled with fun and relaxation.

Lisa  -- wonderful pictures as usual.  That pizza makes me hungry.

Saint -- welcome to the beach.  Those puppy pics are adorable.  This is Jasmine, by the way.

Sige -- hi and welcome to the beach.

Shrink -- that is awesome that you are planning a cruise.  What fun you will have!  How was your visit with the grandkids.  I hope they didn't run you to ragged.  There's nothing like a passle of kids to keep you young and on the move.

Celia -- hey hey our Celia is back!  Welcome back to the beach, Celia.  We saved your favorite spot for you.

Biker -- you must be out enjoying the open road again.

Wings -- keeper of our light, we miss you and hope you hurry back.

Deborye -- how are the pics coming with your new camera?  I can't wait to see some pictures you've taken.

Biker, you look like a real biker babe on that cycle. Very beautiful!  I have a question, does any of the bikes have 2 wheels on the back.  I have been trying to find them on the internet and haven't been able to.  Do you have to have them special made?  Where are you in the picture, is it a flea market or art show?

Jaz, they didn't really have ducks at that flea market, I still haven't found any more, have been checking papers, he really needs a duck friend so he will get over thinking he is a dog.

Celia, I say bring both pairs of pj's then is we laugh so much we pee our pants you'll have an extra pair.  That might be a good idea for all of us or maybe I will wear a depends.

    Go to fullsize image
These are biker pajamas and made of leather just incase we want to go for a ride at night.

Jaz, thank you for saying my son is cute. I think him and my daughter are just beautiful inside and out.  One day when I was visiting him going across the bay bridge he paid for the people behind us and I ask him did you know them? He said no and I ask why did you do that, He said because every single day of my life I try to do a good deed for someone daily.  Sometimes he pays for little old ladies lunches that are eating alone, stuff like that.  My daughter's heart is just as good.  When the fire department is fighting fires she loads up drinks and food to take whereever they are working.  They both put others before theirselves.  I am truly blessed.

What are we doing at our pajama party, I am for getting to really know you guys better.

Sahalie are you ever going to tell me if that is your picture?????

My heart overflows with love for all of you.

Here is my scary story, lets sit around the fire on the beach to tell it.

I don't know if this is "scary" or not, but I'll tell it anyway.

Years ago, back in the early 70's, my Dad and a few friends decided to visit a local haunted house. The woman who lived in this house died a short time before. Her name was Mrs. Holder. Well, after her death, a story sprang up that if you entered into her house and went up to her bedroom on the 2nd story, you'd find a mirror. You would sit in front of it and say: "Mrs. Holder, I want to talk with you." And she would appear in the glass.

So one night, Dad and a few friends went to the house and right away, my Dad was unnerved by the whole thing. He told me the rocking chairs on the front porch were rocking although there was no wind. He opted to stay outside on the porch while his friends went inside. A few minutes later, they all ran screaming from the house. I think a few of them jumped through the 2nd story window and were injured. When asked if they actually had seen the ghost of Mrs. Holder, they wouldn't say. And they still refuse to talk about it.
