O.Kaaaay. beachy babes.....Sparrr OMG! You crazy nut...are you out of breath from chasing them down the beach! LOL ROTFLMAO! So Spar in regards to other things you said! What kind of bread White, Wheat, or PUMPERNICKEL ohhhh! And also I do need flipflops. But lets just say the Beach Towel I encountered the othe day on the net! Was not fit for our beach, it would put your running activities to shame. Maybe a private beach with a Cabana Boy! LOL! I hope your trip today went well. I loved your Goodnight sunset pic & the kitty too. Is that your Kitty?

Faith ~ I'll come visit with a view like that WOW! Sorry your having puter trouble today! Yell As for fitting in anything smaller than a 12 & you can forget it! But I'm working on the Junk in my trunk! LOL!

Celia ~ How cool is that, hobnobbin with Delilah! I'm Jealous would love to meet her sometime. Have you ever eaten there! One night we should set aside a time & call her on the radio & see what song she would pick for us Beach Friends! Maybe send a letter for a Friday Night! Friday's are Ladies Night! I loved your rose & your pic for Sahalie. You were having fun activity on the beach today!  BTW...Are you trying to cover up our Nudies?

Sahalie ~ Thinking of you! Waiting for your safe return!

Lisa ~ Do you live in SanDiego or near there. I have an Aunt & Uncle that live there. There 2 sons & there family's also live there too. The one son is a fire fighter. He is quite a picture taker too. But has a much different venue than your pics. He takes ones of the fires he fights! I visited them once about 16-17 years ago. What a place! I also love the kiss. It's so fun to look at your life through your lenz! Thank you so much!

F.P.Angel ~ I'm glad you liked my joke about My biopsy on the Humor Board....That really did happen!  My SIL & Sis were laughing so hard tears were running down our faces.......If I can't see the humor in things that happen to me. There would be a lot less Joy in my world! Beach Friends are a Major Joy in my day ! Thanks!.......Health issues, Insurance issues & other issues are so draining of our energy ZAP it takes it all away. What little you have to begin with when your sick to begin with!  Good to see yu on here, we will try to help calm that negative energy!

Wings ~ Sending you some light!

Jaz ~ I only have hope. But for now reality has set in after 7+ years. I will always remember the day of his accident like it was yesterday. It was exactly 6 months (Oct. 8th, 2000) to the day & almost the Hour that my DH's Father died of cancer (May 8th, 2000) Multiple Myloma. Then my Father died 5 months later of a heart attack. That was within a week of when my mom died 7 years prior to my dads date of death. I'm reliving it more lately, because my youngest son has joined pee wee football. The accident took place going to a pee wee football game for my 19 year old son, when he was 11. My DH, 11yr. old & 19yr.old sons were in the car when they were hit head on & the van they were riding in rolled on it's side. Everyone walked out, but not injury free. Thank God for seat belts or they would not be here today! Needless to say the year of a new century I will never forget. I still am blessed that Dh & sons are still with us. The surgery is still in the planning stage. Many test's, info. to get in line. We are on our 5th or 6th surgeon. This will be surgery # 5 on his back. The surgery will take at least 8 hours if not longer. All this depends on if my insurance will pay for everything! Sorry I got carried away, but this is my reality besides having to live with all the issues in my life. With all that said my DH does walk & gets around, but each year that goes by is sucked up by increasing pain....Pain meds help but one day there will be a limit to what his body can handle!  Way Enough now!

    Sige ~ I love your 2 cents!

Biker Babe ~ It is fun to look at all the Colorful Bikes & People! The rally brings so much to the area! People see leather & bikes. Right away they associate it with the bad. But they fail to forget that 3 piece suits have really screwed up our lives over the years!

I know I am missing some of you out there come join us on the beach later before I have to go to work! I have the perfect song for our biker friend it's been going through my mind all day!

May all our special Angels protect us as we ride through our days !

Here's the song for Biker 54.....This was in my head all day longggg! Enjoy!

Saint ~ Have a safe trip see ya in a few!

OH MY! catching up once a day is a feat! We just spent the day volunteering at the Humane Society--I'm pooped! so it's read this thread, make dinner & then after my soak-watch the olympics! still gotta pack too

Lisa- I took a photog class a couple years ago---YOU produce what I hoped to learn how to do! Color me green!!! LOL I will have to take some time to post a few of my own one day,

Faith-we are leaving in the AM-- I will call your cell to see if we can meet----Wed evening maybe?

As for the green funerals---how I wish. The problem is that the cemetery we want has it's rules--and after thinking about it I realized---HEY-we can't decompose right here in the neighborhood!! LOL so the rules make sense. We could look for a different place....call me silly, but the place speaks to me somehow......feels "right"

I enjoyed this beach party these last few days......but can not lie when I tell you-- I will be gone 4+ days & will NOT promise to go back & catch up! LOL  IF you want me to read something then pm me!  EVERYONE-----take care of you & do some random act of kindness this week.....(it's the middle school in me--to prescribe such things en masse! lol) see you--no--Read you in a few days!

Take care of each other, be well & stay strong.

    Hugs, saint

look at the flower i found:

Shibori is a Japanese term for several methods of dyeing cloth with a pattern by binding, stitching, folding, twisting, or compressing it. Some of these methods are known in the West as tie-dye. Western civilization does not have an exact word equivalent that encompasses all the techniques of shibori. Tie-dye simply covers binding methods of dyeing, known as bound resist.

Saint, have a wonderful time.  At least I'm assuming its a vacation type of leave.  Don't worry about catching up and you really don't even have to worry about addressing everyone.  I know that is a hard thing to do.  See you in a few days.

Sahalie....don't make me come all the way to California to find ya....I'm just sayin'.....

I am with you guys about eating ice cream any time of the year and in any weather, but what i meant was that if we got the ice cream on a rainy day, we would have to wander around outside in the rain with our cones since they don't have seats inside and that would not be fun. I sure hope that clears up whether i eat ice cream all year and all weather or not!!!!

jan, that is so cool about the Native American spirit guides who are with you!!

faith, did jas tell you where to find Notepad? If you have Microsoft Word you can have a file that you write your post in and then copy it to the window to post it.

jas, those nude people were nekkid and hairy too!!! So i had to post the proper beach attire, socks and all.

jas and julz, no i have not met Delilah and i would not have even known who she was if a friend hadn't told me that she has a radio show, which i have never listened to either. But she is in the local papers occasionally and the last time she was featured, she had to have body guards for some reason, which i don't remember. I don't know if she ever goes in her cafe or not. I have not gone there either. So you see how clueless i am about her. i guess i will have to do some investigating for you guys.

faith, i hope you are enjoying your visit. the last pic of the babeez was adorable as they always are. It is so comforting to come here and read about all your adventures. I get exhausted just thinking about all that you do. You are such an energy ball of creativity and fun.

spar, i do love the stuff you tell about. You are a great story-teller and so busy all the time with everything.

    sige, nice pic.

socal lisa, both of us had a bow and arrow day....actually my pic was about bows and balloons!!

footie, did you see the ramp i got for you?? are you having some ice-cold lemonade and some oatmeal-raisin cookies?

saint, how are you doing today? Have a good trip.

sahalie, i miss you and hope that you are having a good rest. We will send out the search party soon. I have been trying to find the pic of that soccer player that you like but haven't found it yet...was hoping to lure you back here.

hi to wings, margaret, and all else.

Celia, that was a beautiful pic!!!  Ice cream any time of day, any time of year is fine with me!  I never knew who Delilah was until our VA trip this year.  Our TV in the RV wasn't working and we were forced to listen to our satellite radio or local radio.  Late at night we listened to the local and heard her show.

Julz!!!!  How did you know???  That is one of our favorite songs of all time!  Thanks!

Where has our Sahalie gone?  Me thinks she is away?

Saint, you were speaking of funerals........DH and I want to be cremated.  I want my ashes sprinkled on our property.  I don't care if it's legal or not. When my Dad passed away I took his cat,  and when the cat finally died, we put some of my Dad's ashes in the cardboard coffin with his cat, in the back yard.  It's what he would have wanted.  We will not be buying plots.

Faith, those guys were chasing me on that beach because I refused to take off my clothes

Sahalie, I'm gonna find ya! You can't hide forever, come out, come out whereever you are.

jaz, that color thing made me crazy!

saint, I will do my good thing tomorrow in the soup kitchen, last wed there were 60 to 70 people who needed a meal

It is hard to keep up with everyone but love to all

Whooooo hoooooo!! there's hope! Jasmine, you're always so kind to help me, by breaking it down to the very basics.

Celia & Lisa: finding the perfect beachie-historic pics.... they really complimented each other
Celia, I can handle that the men are sockless. I'm into "risque."

Julz: that lighthouse that you found is a breath-taking shot. Thanks for sharing your year of challenge. I'm sorry we weren't there for you at the time. I hope that you had some good friends to get you thru. Wing-girlie is just gonna love it -- I'm sure (the lighthouse).

Spar: still thinking about your "runners" in their all-together.... we need to give you an award!
I, too, am wondering about your new house. It sounds fantastic! I can't get over that your 'x' is helping in the process. You must have a very unique set-up to have and want his cooperation. Good for you.

Footie: making lemonade, so cookies sound like the perfect compliment don't ya think

Margo: time for you to fly thru with a recipe or something.... when do you leave? Promise to take lots and lots of pictures!!

Sahalie: send up a smoke signal or use your carrier pigeons or something

Saint: I'll be keeping my phone charged & turned on. Dinner sounds like a great idea.

Shrink: you, too will need to take lots of pics.

Janny: right after I was dx, a woman told me that she say a 'spirit' walking beside me, she described her as very tall with snow white hair.
I was so glad to have 'someone' with me. I attempted to speak to her -- but never had any response of any sort.

Sige: always fun to have new folks that are capable at adding pictures, share in the fun.

You'll all be so proud of me. I'm 2 days sober (from morning computer addiction)
.... I've started the illustrations for the two page spread of the sign language for my upcoming Giraffe book, genuine
progress!! Managed to get my blog undated, too!

We had 'super oatmeal' for dinner tonight. Truly attempting to 'cut back.'

Wow my lovely Beach Friends, I so needed your Humor tonight.

Celia ~ What a lovely flower, I want one. Don't you know that men can get away with anything, SANZ no socks!  Delilah, pleaze do investigate! Let me know what you think!

Lisa ~ Nice Guards, socks or no socks LOL! I'm glad I'm not walking on the beach in those heels!

Biker Babe ~ I'm so glad to oblige. It's still running through my mind! The song I love to drive to is 'Take it Easy' by The Eagles. No I don't have 7 women on my mind, but I can change the words around & have 7 men on my mind LOL! I'm warped tonight! No sleep & off to work in an hour!

Faith ~ Thank you all for listening! I was so rapped up in just the little ones & Drs. appt. that year. I had my family & my Hubby's family to help.......I wish I could join you tomorrow, but I have a Drs. appointment & sleep. LOL. I feel like I live there some times. I wonder where my Dr's are going on vacation. Maybe they will let me tag along. Since I feel like I paid for it. LOL

Spar ~ were you breaking the new world record on that sprint?

Good night to all! I will be back in 5 min. to update this post!

Hey, Julz I got the gold!

Faith, what is super oatmeal?  Is it with nut and berries and stuff in it???  I guess I do have a good relationship with x but he was my jr. high best friend and highschool sweetheart and we just got married too young and he is the kids dad.  I love his wife, she is a truly wonderful stepmom and they were right there at the hospital when I had the mastectomy.  We all have holidays together and it makes it nice for the kids.  My husband is such a good man he is good with it all.  When we got married 16 years ago I told him i hoped i could have a good relationship with his x and be a good stepmom.  He said it will never happen, she is not a nice person and he was right but I did try.  Still I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful husband now.

Those chairs look so inviting and I think I will pull one up and put my feet in the ocean and have a  drink of some sort and wait for someone to come by and sit with me and listen to the ocean waves. Can't wait to see what is in the picnic basket lunch, maybe some grapes and cheese and wine.  Yum.  Brie.  Love to all!!!!!!!!!!!
