when we were in florida last year for a get-together with chatters, the resort had a boardwalk and fishing dock.  several women fished, and this blue heron (we named him harry) came daily for leftover bait/chum.  signs all over to not feed, but we were only giving him his natural food, so we ignored!!!  he was beautiful when flying, but very cute when walking or standing too :)

I have a Harry in my yard as well. When I fish and get a pin fish, I dehook them and they scramble along the dock but Harry prevails. That way I don't feel guilty giving it to him, he sorta had to work for it.

Our beloved Buckeyes are being totally humiliated here in WI, where we are currently sitting in dejection and agony.

Did you notice that we're on page 590??

    You know what that means................

Time to start gearing up for the big #600 page party!

Shall we have a theme? What to wear this time??

    Sundresses or balloon-wear??

    Fancy hats or visors??

    Flip flops or sandles??

Can we get our own beach-band to play?? The specific date is still a bit in flux.

Everybody pile on with pictures & we'll get there sooner..................

Just moved from the house to a townhouse in a town 1 mile further south. The maintenance was getting to me.

    This ain't too shabby, however.

The only water I can see from my house is an old inground pool that needs to be closed.

Mum---I better start out on the low end and go for a diet coke on the rocks...........lol. If that is handled ok, then I'll pick something stronger. Since you're the bartender, I'll leave that choice up to you ;)
