    I miss our beachie girls, so many that have come to play for a while and then get caught up in their real lives in one way or another and go missing for bits.........

    We're getting closer to the 600 page party, Mum's at a real beach in Cuba and will be coming back to regale us with her shots!

    I've got some fall foliage at the water's edge I need to get down-loaded from earlier this week.

    I asked my hairstylist for this Doo for our party and she said she wouldn't do it.  Something about PETA.  So I will go hat shopping.

    I am in need of a beach, quiet peaceful sunny warm (not hot), feeling the sun soak into my muscles and bones and joints. For those who know the story new chapter... (d)h is now informing his sister/family of our current situation. will be interesting exactly what he says. Just waiting for a call! Although I am meeting w her for info on a family health history chart (risk assessment for children) Gave him courtesy of a heads up. blah. I actually feel pretty good about it.

    Wishing sunshine and sand and sounds of the surf for everyone.

    and here's one that many of you saw before ... from our campground down the shore.  we extend down to the delaware bay, private beach, and this was a recent sunset after a high tide, so we have the pool of water in the parking area, then the beach, then the delaware bay and the sunset.  life is good.

    Drumroll.........................

    This is my 9,000th post at BCO. Saved for the beach.

    Kinda crazy, 9,000 posts. What does that say about me? LOL..... [Best not open that can-of-worms, I suppose. More laughing.]

    This 'beach' of ours has provided a home to me and for that I will always be grateful. I thank our Angel who started this place and welcomed me with whole heart way back when. I wish you well, dear Angel. You created something special here and I am grateful.

    I love the beach. Real. Imagined. Shared. Photographed.

    Sand. Surf. Sunshine.

    Laughter. Stories. Encouragement. Kindness. Inspiration.

    This place has always been a place of refuge for me -- through the first waltz and now the second with it's seemingly never ending & on-going aftermath.

    Individuals have come and gone during these years who have made me laugh, who have held me up, who have encouraged me, who have inspired me, who have hugged me in ((((((((( ))))))))) and in real life rendez-vous. Collectively we have celebrated and we have cried. We have seen amazing new opportunities arrive, new milestones, new anniversaries and we have said final good-byes to other beachies. Yet the beach continues. The beach prevails. The beach brings us back. The beach beakons.

    This beach has meant the world to me in this journey. You have meant the world to me. Quite literally. The world. You have taken me places that I have never been. You have given me a whole new world. You are my world.

    So for the 9000th time I want to say thank you.
