Chrissy. Thanks for sending instructions.
Kay: can't wait to see what you have to share!!!!
It was a lovely day to relax and get some details caught up. Seems there's always correspondence that needs attention: LOL. At least that can be accomplished while lounging. LOL.
I had a teacher from South Africa find me & my work! How's that for cyber-stretch?
Hope that everyone's had a great hump day. Maybe I should go over and search for some of my ol' happy hump day visuals? With newbies you won't know the difference. Ol' timers probably won't mind too much.

Golly, gee whilkers. I haven't stumbled around in Photobucket in ages.
Honestly. I'm searching for the Happy Hump Day Happiness.
These old ones are fun to re-find.

Thanks for the new desktop Chabba! You ladies have had me changing wallpapers much more often than prior to finding this thread. I went years with the same picture. Not anymore. Folks at work can't wait to see what's next.
Have a monstrously great weekend leading up to the spooky Monday (any Monday is spooky in my book!)

hey Beachettes. feel like I don't get to stop on these boards much lately - I have started back at hte gym and that's two nights a week, but I don't know what happens to the rest of them! It just seems more and more there's no time between dinner/cleaning up and 9:00.
Love, love, love all the pics.
Kay, let me know if you're still having trouble posting pics and I'll try to lend a hand. Took me a while in the beginning but once you find the way that works for you, there's no holding you back! There are at least 3 different ways that work for me and I'd be happy to share if you need more help in that regard.
We are at the campground to do final close-up this weekend. Calling for miserable weather tomorrow, but I won't be around next week (I'll be in FL with BCO buddies!!!) and the next weekend we're busy, so have to do this weekend. Wish me luck! While this pic isn't technically of a beach, it was taken last Saturday here at Hideaway Beach, so I feel it qualifies! This is our backyard with the sun shining through the trees. We back up to the woods. I laughed when I put this on FB, saying how I hate "pinktober" and this pic made the sunbeams pink at the bottom!!
Love and hugs buddies.

Someone mentioned the 50's, this is my Mom, Dad and (much) older brother at Cape May about 1953 or 54. Or actually maybe it's Wildwood?0

So tonight finds me nostalgic because it's our last night here at Hideaway Beach till spring. Not sure we ever spent the last weekend here during a Nor'easter, that's for sure! Crazy weather in the northeast corridor today. I'm happy for electricity and for heat and for food in my cupboards (and a PantryOne on the corner!! (local version of WaWa)) Miserable today, so no chance for pics at the bay ... will have to rely on one of my past favs - like Faith, whose reposts above I just loved!!!! Hope this one makes one person smile. If it makes two people smile, I'm beyond happy

We're in Tennessee, having had a lovely afternoon in Bardstown, KY at a wedding at my "Old Kentucky Home"..... beautiful setting. Lovely couple. Dear friends. We met in Lamaze and that dd just turned 28 last week. So fun to see their 'baby' get married. Timing & place of wedding were 'perfect' for our trek south. HURRAY!!!
I was finally able to get some of my favorite pictures of the summer season onto my blog.
This was the very first morning that we awoke up in WI, back in May.
I hope that it inspires you, as it did me at the moment I was pinching myself.
Here's a few other shots.
I had gone up the hill to church (a couple miles north of our little Sister Bay -- up to Ellison Bay) in a bank of fog. As I returned to home, coming down the hill, the fog literally started to lift and this amazing craft emerged. It was all I could do to get the car parked safely to snap some pictures. Thank heavens I had my camera, memory card and batteries!!!!
Looking at them tonight feels like they really did happen in a dream.
ENJOY!!!
