    hope everyones' Halloween was fun. we went out to dinner, and rode around to see the kids. we live in an over 55; so we went ot them!!!!3jays

    We kept the porch light off and watched old movies. Things were nice and quite around here since we do not do Halloween at our house. Just not a "holiday" we believe in celebrating in our home.

    Here we have no sidewalks and few streetlights except in business areas so we have a city ordinance against trick or treating.  Instead we have a party at the convention center on Halloween for all the kids organized by Fire Department volunteers and sponsored by local businesses like the Senior Center, Lions, a few of the churches etc.  Each group decorates a booth, provides some kind of game and candy.  A lot of people come just to sit and watch all the kids....a spectator section is provided.

    Lisa & Mar...... I just can't believe that I couldn't make it for the get-together.

    Our wonder-peeps were all sickies when we were there and apparently a few of the bugs hitched a ride down south with us. I was able to kinda-sorta function all week with the help of Daquill and cough drops and stuff of that nature.

    I haven't moved from the couch all day. I knew that I just couldn't expose anyone to my coughing jags. Just distressing how the timing of all of this unfolded.

    Lisa your picture is striking. Will you be posting pics of smiling faces??
