Lisa, it really was calm with the mirror refection. Windy here today everything at a light chop.

This picture could have been taken from any of hundreds of places around town. When we moved here 21 years ago the view from our deck looked like this. Now there are two houses across the canal.
We still have the geese though.

Came in tonight hoping for some serenity and tranquility.
Thank goodness there is so much talent to spread around our 'beach.'

Lisa, I get all my pictures from a local website---my camera went gunnybags a couple of years ago. The pictures are all of local sights and the animals and birds in them are all types that we see nearly every day in our yard, that is except for the seals and such from the beach. We live on a canal.
Love your orchid picture.

Lisa - always love your flower pics.

Lisa, have you been panning lately and stitching picture together? Or did you get a wider angle lens? Your pics seem to be wider and narrower lately. A great city look!

I do both, but lately it is just cropping...Barb

Mum. I must say, as much as I gasp at his birds-in-flight for their amazing detail..... the sunset with the palms rates right up there as an all time favorite!!
Please ask him to continue to take some "beachie" shots -- just for us!!!!! You can tell him that he's been commissioned by his fan-club.
It's another day of pouring down rain here and to bask in those colors is such a JOY-JOY-JOY!!!!
Where'd all of our 'new' beachie-gals go?? Hope that you book-marked us as a favorite, so that you can find us again and come for the frolic.
Ya never know what you'll find around here.
Windmills. Roses. Deer. Birds-in-flight. The occasional grand-child.
We've got it all.
Speaking of which. I see that we are creeping up on our 750 page party!!!!!
Old timers, you know what that means! We've gotta have a theme!!!!!
Everyone can test drive their party-garb before the big page arrives.
Theme?
Menu?
Entertainment??
I think we should really apply our creative best...... maybe reach out to some of our seriously old timers who've meandered away & let them know that it's P-A-R-T-Y time!!!!!!

Stay dry, if you've got this crazy weather.

Hi! I did mark the thread as favorite, but am not up to the quality of pictures you pros are posting. Also, won't be down the beach until next summer now, but enjoying virtually going. I do have some old beach pics which I will post if I can scan and get them on my computer, but they are not really up to the thread's "standards". Maybe I'll take some pics of my flip flops and post those. Loving this thread though!
