laying back with my sunscreen on listening to the golden oldie tunes of yester year.  Loved the glass blown flowers.  We saw them make that stuff at silver dollar city but the prices were outragious, but oh so beautiful.  Hope all had a wonderful weekend.  Is all ready for the week ahead?

sahalie, i am sad that this day was bittersweet for you with you missing your dh.  Your words here on the beach are always so hopeful and filled with anticipation and calmness.  I have saved this present for you.  It is the macrocosm-microcosm thought.

We are little complete beings that live inside a bigger space that replicates the same order of everything that is inside us -- on the outside of us.  Everything inside is a total and everything outside is a total and both in harmony with the universe. We are the macrocosm inside the microcosm.

Here is a macrocosm-microcosm vase for you to ponder and find your balance.

You find the most beautiful glass works.

Such pure lines of colors and shapes.

They are very comforting to look at and learn about..

Good Morning Beach Babe - elettes Babaloo's!

Dear The One and Only Jaz:  Thank you supremo

for that "Blast From the Past."

Foggy here again this morning in the sand dunes and loving it.

I have to get in rapid gear today as a friend takes off for

Europe as is SweetFaith on her way or landing maybe in

    Aruuuuuuuuuba.

Farewells and wishes for good trips are in order.

My turn comes the end of October! ! !

Wings, I wonder about European lighthouses and if one could

venture over the pond and visit many.

Foots, I hope this is a uplifting, feeling better week for you as we

each take one day at a time.

Neesie,  Celebrations all over the board for the birthday girl.

Was a chocolate fountain in the midst at all?  Hope so.

Ames, Where are you?  We all miss hearing from you.

Angels and fun beach companions all over the place bring cheer,

joy and words of wisdom to all who read.

    Thank you.

I wish you were here with us every day.  All the time.

Celia and I met up on the beach last night and found some

    starfishies.  Beautiful glass works too.

Margaret, What up?  Fog in the south Bay too? Aren't you

    loving it.

I read a really good quote yesterday or heard it or something.

    Anyway it is so true.

It said " We have to have the guts to get up and out and make

    things happen."

    Author- I have no clue.

Could be any Mom or Dad USA.

It's so true though.  Some days I feel like nesting at home

staying warm and cozy in my own humble abode or sandy

    warm beach.

I hate shopping of any kind.

It seems to be worse since BC and chemo.

    Why is that?

Today though, I have to get it in gear and go send the friend

off to a much wonderful flight and trip.

Loves and a calm comfy day to all.

    Waving with the waves.

    hi beachies,

another sunshiny day here is the pacific northwest ... i am always grateful for the sun, as it allows the eye to see a full range of values from light to dark.

    grey skies

    limit

    the artist's eyes

jasmine i thought you might be posting from inside faith's luggage which is truly on its way to Aruba.  I read that this is what you planned to do, didn't i? ...clever girl!

sahalie already mentioned that we went starfish-seeking yesterday on the beach and we made some amazing finds:

    the big red tall guy:

we decided that these two were hugging:

and this one was our very favorite:

So much to see on the beach everyday and so many adventures to have.  I must start planning now for sahalie's october trip with my "traveling with art" program.  something for cheer, good luck, and spiritual protection.

where are you all?  snoozing on the sand, i hope.

I am going for my walk on the beach today and see what i find and find what i see.  Maybe there will be more artists today.  Back later!

    celia

as always, i am sorry for the big pics but my Mac crashes if i try to edit them.

Good afternoon Beach Angels.  I hope everyone had a good start to their week.

I suppose by now Faith and DH are in Aruba enjoying a fabulous sunset from the balcony of their room while a gentle island breeze blows.

Celia -- I was caught by the baggage handler going through the screening machine.  I was promptly dumped at the curb and had to hitchhike back home.  I love those starfish pictures.  I never knew they were different colors.

Sahalie -- I love your word paintings.  Such vibrant imagery.

Wings -- where the heck are you?  I hope you aren't hiding inside your cabana with Mario.  That Mario sure gets around.  I know I saw him sneaking out of Neesie's cabana last Saturday.

Waving hello to the rest of our beach angels -- spar2, FPAngel, Amy, Susan, Margo, Biker, Neesie.

Correction Jaz..............He was Running out of my Cabana...............seems he got a bit 'scared' when he thought he was rubbing my knee and realized it was a upper body part that had sagged to knee level!   Guess he just doesn't see the beauty in Middle aged women!!

    OMGolly Neesie!

I just laughed myself right outa my faux cork design open toed

    Espadrille's.

Your description reminds me of Maxine and her loose fitting

Kona Island Tee and what hangs beneath it.

Is that Mario I see up on his deck in need of CPR.

Poor guy is still in shock mode.

    Hang on Mario.

Poor Mario.  Did he need resuscitation?

    *

Today we waved off the friend into the friendly skies then made

a bee line to the movies and saw . . .

    *

    I LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT!

I needed to see a good fun good old comic book movie and

Mr. Robert Downey Jr. is excellent in the part.

    *

Home now and windy here but nice and sunny.

This seems a quiet Monday on the beach and that's OK.

Time to savor a Pellegrino while thinking of Mr. Iron Man

and Faith on her veranda with dh savoring the ocean view.

Jaz, did we make it there with her in the metallic beach tote?

    I hope so.

Beach babes of the majestic beach I send a hearty Hello

    to each one of you.

We will have a beach get together just for you OK and a very

special beach chair for you to be comfortable in.

I'm sorry to hear of the shed.

Anywho, Foots, The lounge chair is ready for you any time you

wish and a pitcher of ice cold lemonade with fresh squeezed lemons

    in it just for you.

Celia may find a few exquisite glass shells to pass around.

Wings will park her new mustang up the beach for us to drool

    over.

We'll have to keep our eye on Neesie as she tries to make her

way back up to Mario's house on the hill.

Let's tie her to the beach umbrella.

Hopefully Ames will show up and tell us some good happenings.

    I can bring party favors.

A sunny good morning to all.

Ever listen to the distinct sounds of the neighborhood when

sitting quietly or just waking up.

I hear a drill.  A sad sounding drill at that.

Must need a recharge.  My neighbor is having the deck

replaced and began the daily tasks at 7AM.

The landscape gardener is across the street making that

hideous noise with his hideous gas leaf blower.

I love my good old rake.

I have to take my senior fur wonderful baby to the vet today

for boosters and updates on his condition.

He is my pound puppy of 11 years and he melts my heartstrings.

He has taught all the doggies we have here and on the farm.

It is truly amazing to watch a puppy and how much they learn

and imitate from the lead dog.

After the vet appt. we will head on down to the farm for some R&R today.

I normally don't watch the "Bachelorette"

( LOL them using our "ette")   but I did last night.

She is down to four and goes to meet the families.

Is this show rigged?  I really want to know.

    Where is everyone?

I hope people are having grand summer times this fine June.

    I think of you all.

Present, past and missing in action.

Angels on distant beaches with wonderful friends and stories to

make your top knot curl with laughter.

    Welcome new friends.

    hi beachies,

back to grey gloom here in the pacific northwest,

just as i was embracing the two-day long sunshine, it's gone again.

i've come to this lovely beach today and i have just met footprints

who is swollen from treatment and has had an intrusion in her yard from gang members,

yet still drives herself to treatment and brings lemonade here!!

What an amazing woman you are.

I love the chair that sahalie brought for you and

if you need more shade we will pull it under my

ever-present beach umbrella (no suntans for me ever).

footprints, i have brought you some getting-to-know-you presents.

here is a hand blown pitcher andglass set for the lovely lemonade:

and a blown glass plate to put some cookies on to go with our lemonade:

and last but not least, is this lovely glass heart to match your

own big, kind heart.   you can put it in your pocket and take it

with you to treatment for good luck.

I hope you feel better and better.

sahalie what a nice chair you have for footprints.

You are always so thoughtful and, as always,

i love to read your words.  jasmine said they are

like paintings and i agree.  i hope the pound puppy is well

and the vet visit is just routine.

my oldest cat (17.5 yrs) will see a vet cardiologist

this July after his scary ER visit last month.

he was a feral cat born in my backyard in berkeley

and now he has a cardiologist---rags to riches story.

many are missing from this glorious beach.

perhaps i will see them on my walk today to find more treasures.

have a wonderful day beachies, and

faith, hope you are happily immersed in your vacation!

I have wondered if the bacherlette is rigged also.

I stopped and listened to sounds today and I heard my duck quack, the dog bark, the birds singing, and the rain pouring down.  My duck would flop down in the puddles and try to swim, he is so cute to watch.  Have got a preg. cat and am waiting anxiously for some new babies.

Fixing to walk the beach and hunt for shells or sea glass

    Have a wonderful evening ladies

You'll find me in the waves as it is still 91 blistering degrees

    here.

I had to get home and within the coolness of the AC.

This is a surprise from left field with the higher temps again

    today.

You all know how i love the fog.

Where are you Jaz?  Calling Jaz.  I sure missed a song

    for today this morning.

Spar You lucky with kittens coming your way.

Those babies will be so adorable.

I found your fun story thread this morning early and added a

small and "true" experience which still makes me laugh when

    I remember it.

What a fun thread you created.

    Check it out beach babes.

There's a bus trip involved and lot's of creative stories.

Celia please rev up that transistor radio you have so we have

And she told my my cancer dr was wrong to put my on predisone and get me a wheelchair. I dont understand people that dont walk in our shoes and have the pain can say this! Wow that felt good to vent. Now on with the joy of having such wonderful people online. Sending everyone aSmile and chicken for the party. I love you all!Take care, Debbie

    Hi All,

Sorry not much time lately to play on the beach.

    Sadness at the lighthouse.

My dear father in law passed away Monday evening.

It has been very hard on my DH he has nursed his father through so much in the last 3 yrs I can not begin to tell you what a wonderful son he is. He reminds me so much of Neesie and Iris and all the kind things they do for their mom/dad.

Sahalie - Have the cabana boys get my Mustang polished up, I will be back soon for a drive on the shoreline.

Hugs to all by beach friends.
