I'm going to fix a nice big pitcher of southern ice tea (so sweet it comes with a shot of insulin). Anyone want some?

Wow Robin, long time no see!!
Sahalie, are you anywhere near the wildfires??? It's Thursday, which is my Friday, so I'm goin' home, kicking off my shoes and putting on my flip flops. If it doesn't rain this weekend, we'll fire up the Harley and go for a ride.
Amy, good luck with chemo tomorrow!
Faith, that was a good idea to blow up that tie-dye pic for the babies to look at.
Jaz, ooooh that sweet tea is too sweet for me!
Celia, great pics!
Hello to Susan, Footprints, Wings, Spar2, and everyone else my poor old brain can't remember right now. Well gosh, I'm at work and I can't be expected to think of more than one thing at a time, lol!

Celia-congrats on the SS Minnow answer,,I always knew you were a smart one.
Jan-i wish today was my Friday. Pet sitter coming tonight to go over everything and then we probably need to go to the bank and get a big loan to pay her since we have so many animals. lol. Oh well, if you gotta you gotta take care of them.

Jaz. Here are only a wide beautiful beach that goes on forever and ever.
celia. Congratulations on winning the prize.
I just looked at my mail and sure enough there was the blurb about the nails.
Janny. We are not in any danger zone regarding the fires but one of the big ones is about an hour from us and causing our skies to be filled with smoke.
It's a terrible state of affairs we are in here in our sunshine state.
We need some of the rain everyone else is getting.
Wings. When are you going to visit? We miss you.
Susan. Ditto Ms. Retail
Ames. Seems like we need bank loans to fill our guzzlers too. Happy happy trip.
Jaz. We need a new contest. Your last one was a doozy good one.

WowWowWowWow.............. fun at the beach today!!
Even tho we ate breakfast at Giligan's nearly every morning -- they didn't give away any trade secrets.
Was it because Mrs. Howell was having secret affairs with the professor, Skipper and Gilligan and no one could concentrate on sailing away?
I loved all of their "inventions" and that was probably the precursor to MacGyver........
If anyone is the betting-sort, I'd suggest that you buy a chance on the number 113. At today's library concert, at the opposite end of the state, we again had 113 children in attendance. How bizarre is that? Today's event was outside and thankfully there was a continual breeze blowing, as it was in the mid-90's.
So we spent the afternoon moving the circus act back here to our house, as DD's air conditioner is still awaiting repair. Don't get me started. It had been kindly comfortable, but the heat has roared back in on the heals of last night's storm..... so everyone's here @ my house again.

I think there's just enough time before dinner to take a quick little sail:

Wow, Faith, that sure is taking a long time to get parts. It sounds like you had a great time at the concert today. We need rain here too and I was hoping we would get some today but it looks like the weekend will be rainy for sure and I'm not even going to complain about it raining on the weekend. My air is running non-stop today.
Celia guessed about they had no nails to fix the boat. Kudos to our Island Queen.

Yes.... it's been a real headache. L-O-N-G story. It has to do with the fact that they had a 'policy' from buying the house, for things to be repaired in the first year. The good news: it will be replaced at virtually no cost. Bad news: the repair men are coming on The Minnow to attend to the replacement.

Please meet one of my best friend's Leopold.
We adventure adventure daily up and down the beautiful beaches, trails leading to majestic waterfalls up the thickly foliaged hills, back down to the sea shore where soft foam awaits to tickle our toes.
My toes, Leopold's claws.
All the beaches we go to are beautiful with magical paths off to the sides calling us to take in the lush ferns and habitats of nature's wonders.
Leopold and I look around and stop to see the most unusual things.
While walking the white sand up the beach we saw a group of hermit crabs sitting next to a tree. They were trying out several different vacant, available shells on for size.
So many of different shapes, colors and sizes, that must have a reason.
It was a fine day for the little crustaceans to be house shopping.
Nature at his best. Some chose new abodes, some kept their original shell home with all their comforts and familiarity.
This is only one example of what we saw during our sandy walk up the beach. We always prefer to take our time, stop regularly and enjoy the views on land and sea.
After all my little crusty friend demands we take our time. I oblige.
Leo is a very wise little crab and his senses are astute.
Please be careful when walking by my beach bag with the birds, flowers and surfboards on it as once in awhile Leopold will walk sideways into my beach bag for a nap and perhaps a remnant of a banana or tick tac.
Merci'

Faith. What a day! I do hope the new AC will be delivered before the weekend for Sarah and sweet little babies and WB.
The new one is being brought on the Minnow? We better send out some help.
113. That is quite a large group for such heated weather.
Are the schools still in session where you do your concerts?
I wish we could all settle in on the beach and see you in action.
What a wonderful treat that would be.
Thank you for the refreshing photo up above.
I hope you all have a relaxing evening together.

celia: i'm intrigued..... who could it be? beyond the golden oldies I think.
I've had Julio park the sails and they are getting our dinner party set up. Can't wait to see what Sahalie & Margo have planned for the meal.
Jasmine: could you find us some dinner music?
I've saved plenty of room for all of our beach bunnies to bring friends and family tonight.
I think it will be especially restful for Wings and family..... Iris and her bears, and Amy to take a break from her packing. nEEsie and Susan are in charge of dessert.
socal, could you bring some of your roses? deborye and spar maybe you could drum up some entertainment. maybe something more mellow that our limbo contest. sweet Footie what would you like to see at the beach tonight?

Celia -- nope...I'm lucky if it keeps me awake long enough to watch my evening shows. I think I'm borderline narcoleptic.
