Why is there extensive code on Rock's primary posting?

Thanks for all the hard work ladies.  I just changed my name on the boards.  I used to be ReneeS.

Rock and Company:  Many thanks for the great tips.  I start chemo on May 21, and the info is invaluable.  Just another example of the angels on earth I've found through this site.

I start chemo on the 29th of June (provided I get this silly drain out soon!).  Thanks for all the tips!  I have to wonder why the "no" for soy if you are ER+.  My onco has said nothing so far about such restrictions, and I didn't think to ask (although I will).  I'm vegetarian and my husband is lactose intolerant, so we tend to eat a lot of soy products.  Is making food going to become even *more* difficult?

seh ~ Welcome to the club no one wants to join. You will find tons of support here.

It is my understanding that soy is very high in plant estrogen. Since ER+ bc needs estrogen to grow, it is beneficial to leave plant based estrogens  out of the diet.

Best of luck to you in your treatment and please come back often if you have questions.

Wigs on Ebay!!!! NOWAY. they are cheap looking and you get what you pay for!!! My wigs are human hair wigs and very expensive but worth it. if you buy a wig off ebay you will feel cheap because you will look cheap and people will laugh at you if they see you and tell you you look like a 2 cent you know what! Newport Hair Loss Center has what you need!!!!!! I had alopecia and cancer and I know what I am talking about. I have suupport groups formed and I make sure everyone knows that they need a wig from me! Put me on your list!!!!!

Bump for Nico.  Who is a sweetie-pie. And I am not normally the type to call people sweetie-pie.  But when the pie fits... Oh. That doesn't sound right!  xo

Thinking of everyone who is starting chemo.  I think of women who are undergoing chemo a lot, actually.  For what it's worth, two years after my last chemo and I'm feeling really really good.
