Here are my curls!

WOW Goldie! Your curls are gorgeous! I have lots of curl too and have looked at your pics many times for encouragement. It helps me to see that there are ways to work with the curl. Mine is beginning to straighten out a little bit on the top front, but the rest is unruly curly. I have tried a new product, John Freida Anti-Frizz Serum. It seems to be helping with the course textured curls in the back crown of my head. It's weird, I feel like I need four different hair products for all the different textures of hair I'm experiencing on the same head! At least I have hair and I'm very thankful for it.
MarieK - You look so lovely with your color and style! You look very young and your eyes really do stand out.
IowaSue44 - Nice growth for 14 wks. It looks really soft. Is it? Mine came in crazy looking when it was that long. It was going in 15 different directions. I ended up with the crazy curl.

I am so jealous of all your hair!!!! I am two weeks post chemo and all I have is gray fuz that comes out when I pull it. I miss my hair so much. I lost my eyelashes and have a small amount of brow. Breast cancer robs us of so much. I don't like any of my wigs and I feel so phoney when I wear them. I pray I will get hair again. I was on Taxotere so I hear some ladies never get it back.

Hi IllinoisNancy. I had Taxotere and Cytoxan and I got my hair back - even thicker than befpre. It is very curly however. Don't despair - almost everyone's hair comes back. It took about 8 weeks post chemo before mine started growing back, so by the end of May you should be seeing hair growth. Before you know it, others will be jealous of you! Hang in there Girl!

Goldie: LOVE your curls! beautiful!
IllinoisNancy: I also had 4 x TC.. I'm 8 weeks out and it's growing. You will be on the other side of this. It really does go by quicker than we think.

You got it Slainte! Don't worry about the size, you did it! It amazes me how we all look so similar at that stage!
Iowa Sue, I am with you on the weight. I gained 20lbs. Cancer can quit giving anytime now! Weight is from Arimidex for me. Onc tells me it will come off when we are done with it. Another 2.5 years for me!

im soo jealous.. one of these days i'll post a picture. i get stressed out. its' way over a YEAR; and it looks like no more hair on the top.. well, really thin hair, to be exact!! then, i remember you guys are mostly younger than me, and i am taking 3-4 things to block my estrogen. so, it'll be much slower for me. i've considered (shopped) for a wiglet for the top, weird, i thought red was popualr, but no red, anywhere. gonna see if my "wig" girl (who's a survivor) can make something out of my old wigs.. soon.. anyway, my DH Mur says he'd rather have a balding redhead than a full head of darker hair.. truth be told, he's just glad im here, at all. he's one of the good guys! i love all your oictures!! thanks.. Lago, whata beautiful face you have! yep, the eyes are definitely more prominent when we've got short(er) hair.. 3jaysmom

I am going to have my new brown hair dyed dark RED today !!! I am not at all sure it is a good idea, but with <2' hair, this is the time to give it a try. I've been a hilighted blonde my entire life and not sure I love plain brown hair, plus there is a bunch of gray in it. I'll post a pic later today! Yikes, I'm scared!

3jays, I am sorry you are having trouble with hair growth, that has to be so hard. But you know what, you sure have some beautiful grandchildren to share you life with, and they are here because of you.
Thank you all for your comments..........I'll be watching!

I can not get the bigger picture to go smaller, I drag the thing small and then when I save it , it is still big.

I am lovin' all of the hair pictures! You all have such gorgeous eyes that just seem to get more beautiful with short hair.
tnbcRuth: I did blonde for the first time when my hair came in all grey and I now regret that I didn't also try a true red. Go for it! I bet it will look good on you as you have lighter coloring then myself.
Happy hair day ladies!

IllinoisNancy: Don't worry, it is actually very rare that women do not regrow their hair after Taxotere. I too was worried, but my oncologist reassurred me that this rarely happens and it is usually to very elderly women with thinning hair. I got a full head of hair after Taxotere and it's way thicker and nicer than it was before. Heck of a way to get a perm, but we earned our thick curly hair!
Goldie: Thanks for the pics of your chemo curls, I'm encouraged that I might get to keep mine too!
