Nomattererwhat, believe it or not, I think your hair looks nice. It just is probably different than before. But to new people, it is pretty....nice and curly.

Nomatterwhat, My hair looked just like yours not too long ago - plus more curls! When I woke up in the morning it would all stick straight up. I colored mine right away because I didn't have the pretty white color you have. Mine was mousy grey brown. I also had to flat iron the heck out of it to get it to lay flat. You're looking good!!!

NomatterWhat - I like the silver and the pretty curls. I had curls when my growth started, but none left so you may change too. If I still had those curls, I think I'd just wash it & run my fingers through the curls & go - especially for the summer.

nomatterwhat... mine sorta came back like yours.. except it was pitch black... I just got it cut and shaped and wore it like that - I ended up loving it but nothing lasts forever - LOL... the curl and body went away and after about a year I had my regular hair back..

Looks good to me! I look at everyone's hair now.
I am so jealous!Since I finished AC on May 5 and several people have said they starting growing hair around that time, I am looking closely for ANYTHING. I might be crazy but it looks like there is something in the follicles ready to pop through. It could just be fantasy. Crossing fingers..

Trvier, it will come! No Matter, mine is like yours in the back: you saw I colored mine, and they shaped the top to where it supposedly looks like a style. You look marvelous anyway dear friend!
Just popping in: we are at our New Journey house in TN where we are fixing up this week: we have no signal al the house, and sporadic in the cabin we are staying in. I have done more physically this week than in the past 8 months, which feels good.

Thanks ladies for the comments on this hair. It is a little whiter and a whole lot curlier than what mine was, but nevertheless mine!!!!! They call me "Curly Jo" at work. It is funny, how I always hated my hair pre BC and cried for days when it fell out and now I am afraid to cut it because I now know how important my hair is to me.
Toby, enjoy your time at the ranch, but don't overdo it. You definitely deserve the break.

I know it's discouraging at the beginning. It seems like it will never grow back. After I finished Herceptin mine went crazy. Here are pictures I took to show the difference from the last pictures I posted. My last chemo was the beginning of Nov. 2013. My last Herceptin was July of 2014.

9 months PFC. It's really curly, straightened a bit this morning. After a sweaty workout definitely = Rand Paul or Lyle Lovett. But it's hair!

Thank you! I hope it gives hope to those of you that have are going through the regrowth process. When I heard the stories about taxotere, and my hair didn't seem to be growing much, I was very worried.
Bow, short hair really looks good on you! I haven't had short hair since I was a kid. If my hair wasn't so curly, I think I would cut it short again. There are some really cute short cuts!!

mine is coming in very the and white on the top, but have started to get black stubble in between the longer white hairs. Was worried until I saw the stubble filling in patches. It itches like crazy where the stubble is popping through. Driving DH crazy rubbing my head.

Mine is growing in but seems to be growing thicker than longer. It seems to be staying the same length which is about 1/2 inch. But really thick...and gray. When can you dye your hair?

Tninking- I colored mine at 12 weeks PFC. It's short but thick. I used Sally Beauty Supply Demi Color. No Ammonia. It worked really well and was easy. It washes out after 28 washes but I wanted something that was gentle on my hair!

That was a great joke to play on us. I love the picture of you with your son. You have a great wig there. Some bald person keeps looking at me when I'm around a mirror. I don't know who they are. I think they are harassing me. Muahahahahaha.

Thank you ladies😍. Glad it picked up your spirits some. I've decided once my hair grows back I'm still gonna rock wigs. Onc wants me to help the social worker with her groups regarding wigs and trying to look your best during treatment. I'm so glad to do so. But since I'm a therapist- NOT FOR FREE! So we shall see.
Dunesleeper- lol, I hear you. I realized I had to fall in love with that chick in the mirror. She'll play an important role in the future when trying to help and inspire others thru their journey.

I stopped wearing wig in March, - and hope to dye this salt and pepper short hair that I have SOON! I cant get used to the grey!! My wig was dark brown and long-ish as my hair was before.
