    Father, In this quiet time, I bring my loved ones and

    friends to You in prayer. Remembering the countless

    miracles You have performed for each person causes

    my faith to increase. I used to agonize over their spiritual

    welfare and needs. How patient You were teaching me that

    You were in teaching me that You are the One who handles

    the problems. I didn't have to worry but just trust.

    Not long ago in an empty church sanctuary, I found a

    way to release every individual I love to Your care. Al-

    though those I love mean more to me than life itself, I knew

    I had to trust You to answer my prayers as You see fit.

    Holding on to them and not giving them to You was wrong.

    After pouring out my concerns to You Father, I slipped

    up to the altar with paper and pencil in hand. I wrote each

    of their names on a sheet of paper and committed them to

    You. After I finished, I thanked You for watching over them.

    Then I erased their names from the paper and left the blank

    sheet on the altar.

    Here I am again, Father, with pencil and paper and a heart

    filled with faith. Here I am again, handing my loved ones and

    friends to You. In Jesus name. Amen

    Don't you wish life came with a map to point you

    onward down the path? You could follow along and

    always know where you've been, where you are and

    where you are going. You would have have direction

    and would never get lost.

    Good news!  There is a map------it is God's Word. He

    has promised you that He is walking beside you, guiding

    you to fulfill His glorious purpose. He will lead you, keeping

    you on track. God's map is full of love for trusting Him.

    people here. May they find comfort in all they are

    going through, tests, chemo,...... May they feel

    Your glorious love all around them, and know

    You, Lord are walking beside them to help them.

    Help those that are in pain, comfort them with

    Please be with all who are in need tonight.  Those who are in pain, those who are worried about tests, those facing decisions, those facing surgery. 

    Please comfort them and help them and guide them.

    I ask that you be with Sonja who needs your help as she faces the end stages of her

    agressive cancer.  Please be with her and wrap your loving arms around her.  Please be with her

    family and her children as they face the loss of of her life on earth.  Please comfort them all

    and give them your peace.  Amen.

    Lord,

    Another Sister is preparing to come home to you. It is those left behind God that suffer so. Why can't we temper their sorrow? No one is immune to the pain of loss, and it is that very deep pain that wails into the night. It is this very powerful emotion that allows us to understand you, the knowledge that there is something greater from whence we come. We can find comfort in listening to our hearts, in that they will lead us back to you and to each other. That very painful part of life which is saying goodbye, is really a so long for now. I humble ask God that you fill the hearts and minds of those staying behind with the peaceful knowledge that this is so long. Hold all close, and give them strength. Give our Sister strength to let go, and know that she has fulfilled her life mission, beautifully. Please love them through this.

    Amen.
