Oh Gracious Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Holy Spirit which abides in each of the Christian ladies here on this site. I'm so blessed to have their friendship, compassion, encouragement and love. Please bless each of them and uphold them as they experience the struggles of dealing with breast cancer - the struggles that the rest of the world doesn't see. Lord I pray for an end to this disease. I pray for a cure. Nothing is too hard for You. You are the Almighty and Everlasting God. I deserve nothing from Your hand, but You are merciful, and You have shown me a love that is like no other. You sacrificed Your only Son, Your perfect Son, on my behalf. You continue to bless me and allow me to pray to You and ask for Your mercy. Lord, please hear my prayer. Please let every woman here feel Your very presence this moment. Remind each of us of Your great love. Help us Father. Please give us Your peace that passes all understanding. It's in the precious name of Your Son Jesus I pray. Amen.

There was a time when I swore I was "pushed down," in order to get me to change. But I knew it came from a loving source, and it was what I needed. God knows us well.

Things We am going through, Lord, is almost beyond our
endurance. We are pressed on all sides, No matter which
way we turn, We ache and with indescribable pain and cry
until there are no more tears. Why must we face such things?
You are Our Savior, Our Strength, and Defender. Although
sometime we are afraid, We will still trust in You. Let us
touch the hem of Your garment, Lord, Let us hold its
threads in our fingers. Help us tie a knot in the strand and
not let go of our hope in You.
Come unto Me, you who are heavy laden. You are My dear
child. Know for certain, there are no troubles you face that oth-
ers have not gone through before you. I will take these things
and make a way of escape for you. Take my yoke, Place it on
your shoulders. It will not make your load heavier. I am helping you
carry it so your burden will become lighter and easier. Rest upon
My everlasting arms, for they are under you all the time. Here
is the hem of My garment, Touch it, Feel My presence. In your
weakness, know My strength and healing.

Foots, thank you so much for the beautiful prayer. I have often pondered the passage about the woman who touched the hem of His robe and was healed. It was one of my favorite passages even before I knew I had BC. What a wonderful reminder that our God is attentive to all of our needs and hurts.
I pray as squidwitch that you are blessed and that God gives you His healing touch today.

Lord, Thank you for being the God that you are. We know there is no where else we would run, but unto you. Draw us unto you and increase our faith. May we keep our eyes upon you when the troubles swirl around us. Be our sufficiency in all of our situations. May we live our lives to honor you, down to the smallest detail. When we are weak, provide our strength. When we are weary, please lift us up. When we are depressed and downcast, lift our eyes to see you in our situations. Lord, I pray we would know your love for us in our situations and have the assurance that you are near. Cause us to be encouraged and feel we have been "hugged" by your presence.
