    Dear Lord, Please bless and give comfort to Aunt Shirley, Bless

    The she may rest in Your every loving arms of peace. Help the

    family to stay strong in You, knowing You are there with them

    and will never leave them. Lord give Aunt Shirley painless and

    calming love, to take her next step, which is Your will. In Jesus

    wonderful name we pray. Amen

    Dear Lord, Please bless and give peace to all those in

    need of Your loving and comforting touch. Be with and

    give them peace. May they feel You beside them, through

    all their tests, surgery and other things You know they

    are going threw. Please give Your calming Spirit to all

    those that are hurting or weary. To help them keep on,

    keeping on. Bless all those that a in financial needs and

    worries. We give them to You. And please bless all the

    wonderful people here. May they see that You are an

    wonderful Father. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

    with her challenges, like her white count. May it get higher

    so she will be able to fight her other trials. Please bless her

    Classroom 14 year olds, That You may help soften their

    hearts and help them see love and caring for each other.

    Lord, You know all her other needs and we give them to

    You in Jesus name. Amen

    May God and all his Angels be at your Aunt Shirley's side in multitude. There are prayers Lord, for her to be free of pain. Her niece is concerned for her Aunt and her Aunt's family as they prepare to let go of her. Please give reassurance to all, and show them a sign of your love and presence.

    Lord I would ask that Aunt Shirley would feel Your all powerful presence with her at this very moment.  Please help her Lord and lift her gently to Your side.  I pray for peace and comfort for her and her family in Your gracious Son's name.  Amen.

    Your prayers have said so eloquently what I was trying to say for both Aunt Shirley and Susan. Thank you.

    Susan,

    I really pray for your students to receive tough love, and as Rocket says, Father be a supernatural force to be reckoned with for each of them. We see the effects of permissiveness, absentee parenting and lack of boundaries and expectations on our children today. Children and young adults, do want clear boundaries. This helps them to feel safe and be able to trust. I imagine working in high poverty, parents may just not physically be able to be there due to working multiple jobs, single parenting, and working night shifts. These children may have all of the wonderful qualities of dedication, helping the family unit by sacrificing school for work, but we both have future vision beyond theirs. I do work with clients who are in this financial category, and see the struggles. We know that education is the key to getting out of poverty, or that it is one of the most important building blocks for future success.I imagine you fall into the role of parent for many of the children. I pray that you receive the energy and spiritual assistance you need to continue your very important role here. Thank you for your passion, as you do change the world, and your passion will not be forgotten by your students. I am 43 and absolutely remember my teachers, and the role they played in my life today.

    I picked up my Grandmother's card that we had at her funeral. These are laminated cards, with her dates of life, a prayer and a picture on the front. I thought I would share the prayer with you in the hopes it may give you some peace.

    God saw you were getting tired,

    And a cure was not to be,

    So he put his arms around you

    And whispered, "come to me."

    With tearful eyes we watched you,

    And saw you pass away.

    Although we loved you dearly,

    We could not make you stay.

    A golden heart stopped beating,

    Hard working hands at rest.

    God broke our hearts to prove to us,

    He only takes the best.

    Dear God please help my cousins to deal with this & take care of my alzheimers Uncle who thinks she is 'out east' that he remains is his foggy bliss & does not add to the discomfort of his children during this trying time.  Bless everyone on this site that they may know your grace and comfort all in pain or through their rough times.

    Dear Lord,

    At any given time we do not know what others are facing, and when we do hear their stories, we realize what similarities we share. We are drawn here for our own personal reasons, and stay because we find comfort here. We have little families in these boards, where we have become familiar with each other and trusting of their continued presence. May we remember each other here, and for the gifts that each person brings along this most difficult journey. May we honor each other for how we have all helped each other to grow and learn. In particular Foots, with her nightly ministry and her loving spirit, we honor you for what you have done for all of us. Sometimes, we need to step back and see the magic going on, and who keeps the fires burning.

    I have no doubt that she is absolutely surrounded by Angels and she is at Peace. I am glad that she is sedated, and may her Nurses and Doctors take excellent care of her needs and keep her free of pain. May your cousins come to terms with her passing, and also embrace your Uncle. I also have no doubt that Shirley will let him know in her way, so that his heart will know she is passing, even if he does not speak on it.

    Heavenly Father,

    Please be with those that need you the most this evening...showing your unconditional love, comfort and healing...

    Please be with me tomorrow as I go for my 2nd TC treatment.  For many reasons, I am more nervous than the first time I went because I let my mind go to those "dark" places.  I feel that I am being drawn to that place more and more and I need your help to get me back to You.  

    Please allow the treatment to be doing it's job...please let my SEs be minimal and tolerable.  Please Lord, give me strength I need to keep moving forward.  

    Please be with all my sisters on this board...they give so freely of themselves each and every day and deserve wonderful blessings bestowed upon them...please hear their prayers and answer their pleas...

    This morning Aunt Shirley went with the angels.

    Dear God, Thank you for showing Aunt Shirley mercy & giving her peace & allowing her family to say good bye. Prayers have been answered by your grace in this matter.

    Please continue to be with them all as the following days will be difficult, comfort them throughout this time.

    Remember Susan throughout her struggles.

    Please be with ToriGirl today & always as she continues her treatments.

    I beg of you to continue to surround all those who are suffering with your strength. love, & mercy

    Blessed are each of us for you have given us the means to support & comfort each other through prayer here. Please embrace each one with gentle breezes, warm each one's soul with sunshine, let them not feel alone as we know you are with us always.

    Please be with Tori and all going through chemo.

    Please also be with Levi who I learned is only 4 and having difficulty breathing and facing tests.  I'm sure he is very scared.  Please help his parents to be strong and give the doctors the knowledge they need to help find out what is wrong with him.

    Please guide all the medical staffs to do right & quality work on & with our sisters & families here. Help them to not forget their oath or your miracles, Humble those that forget so that they remember we are your children.

    Thank you for guiding me to my sisters here ....footprintsangel for one as she, in her own suffering, reached out to me an ignorant stranger & unselfishly, graciously gave of herself that I may be comforted. Soothe her body, mind & spirit.

    Bring Levi & his parents strength, courage.

    Bring all those that are in discomfort calming painless breaths, Sweet dreams & a peaceful nights sleep.

    Sisters in prayer,

    Just checking in with you all to let you know that 2nd treatment went well yesterday, thanks be to God and for the prayers you sent your way.  Once treatment started and I was able to, once again, be able to pray over the treatment before it was put in my IV, I really felt a sense of peace.  

    I was pretty wiped out yesterday evening because the night before I only got 2 hours of sleep the night before so went to bed early.  I woke up this morning feeling pretty good and plan on getting some breakfast in me and get my walk in while I feel this well.  

    First treatment the first couple of days were okay...things should start to kick in tomorrow evening or Monday and then 4-5 yucky days after that.  Husband leaves out of town tomorrow until the 29th, so I"m hoping that any side effects are tolerable and minimal and nothing out of the ordinary (and scary) comes up while he is gone... 

    Please know that I lift you all up in prayer each day that your prayers, petitions and pleas will be heard and answered in the Lord's name...

    ~~~gentle hugs to all the ladies here~~~ Thankfully we have the Lord to look to in our struggles with this disease and all the other life issues. May we all keep our eyes on Him above the storm. Please sustain mnmom's family as they cope with her passing. Also, Lord, help Torigirl through those difficult days after chemo. Thank you for her positive outlook, and give her creative ideas to pass the days while her husband is away. May she have sweet rest from You. Also, please be with Footie and comfort her and pour out Your love upon her. Footie, I'm wondering where you are and how you are doing. Please at least check in with us when you are able and let us stand beside you in Spirit.  Bless everyone's weekend, and I give a hearty "Amen" to the prayers for good sleep and rest.
