Dear Lord, Thank you for my successful chemo tx. with minimal se. Thank you for your continued support of the women on these threads. Thank you for protecting foots, Jackie, her daughter,and my family with their trials supporting us through this difficult time. Thank you for giving Miss Bianca the talent to write those beautiful prayers. Thank you for being a good, compassionate God. Thank you for keeping my mom and dad safe in heaven during this time. Thank you for knowing what is best for our destiny. Just thank you. Amen.

Lord, I lift up all my BCo friends today, believers and non-believers alike. Touch each of them in that special way that only you can. Let each of them feel and know that you are God, the Almighty, who suffered for our sins but love us unconditionally nonetheless. I ask your special blessings on all who are going through stressful times dear Lord. Let them feel your presence as we lift them up before the Father. Especially bless all who come to this thread to offer intercessory prayers for all, as they are truly children of God with a servants heart.
I ask you also to continue watching over all our soldiers around the world and for the people of Japan as they recover over the next few months/years from the devastating earthquake and tsunami.

I don't know how to bring comfort to my friend, who just lost his father yesterday. It just leaves me without words. Please pray for him. He has been through so much, a total bombardment of every type of adversity at the same time.

Thank you for your prayers, Kathy!!Thank you, Lord! You are sooo good!!! My husband found him at 1 am. We were out searching until late, and I really thought I would not see him again. DH was at the top of a hill behind our house, and heard a howl in the distance. He wasn't sure, but stayed outside sitting on a car, and heard a second howl. That was definitely Dudley! He walked down the hill, and to the street in the direction he heard it, and about a 1/4 mile down heard whimpering. Dudley was caught in landscape netting covering grass. It is amazing he has been found, and our prayers have been answered!!! He is small, and black, and was in darkness, as the street is not lit.
Praise our God!! He cares about the desires of our hearts. He answers prayers.

Heavenly Creator, it is so much easier to rejoice when the sun is shining and the memories of surgeries and their aftermath receed further and further into memory. Be with those today who need assurance of your care. Be with those in need of your compassion & mercy.
Strengthen those who are in fear. Bring wisdom to those who must make decisions, guide them to Your will. Bring insight to those working on behalf of everyone gathered here. Bring them diligence in their research, knowing that your wish for us is wholeness. Bring us progress and collaboration toward the many pieces of the puzzle that are still missing.
We ask for a cure. We ask for progress toward the elimination of this blight upon your creation. Be with us as we learn to live rejoicing in the midst of our fears, our frustrations, our side effects, our scars and our complications. Bring us the song to sing that we might raise our voice in unison to prasie you -- even in the midst of our setbacks, detours, dead ends and road blocks.
Show us the way.
Show those among us who are stable and moving forward a way to reach out a hand of assistance, a voice of encouragement, a post of insight to those who are newly gathered here & to those in need.
Please bless our FootieDebbie and give her the blessed assurance of our love and care for her and her situation. Shine our love directly into her heart, that she will feel our collective appreciation for her prayers & expressions of care. We know that she continues those prayers every day on our behalf -- even when we can't read her expressions here.

I have prayed to have joy in my heart, to have reasons to rejoice. Sometimes it takes difficult circumstances, trials, and tribulations to see the Hands of God move in our lives, paradoxically. If it were not for this life threatening illness, I would not have the depth of compassion and gratitude that I have, not a process of my own, but of God's work in me. If it were not for my son with autism, who has taught me to focus singlemindedly on what is good, beautiful, funny, and uplifting, I would not have this perspective.
For every evil that this world reports on the morning news that is considered newsworthy, millions of acts of kindness, goodness, and love have also transpired, but not considered newsworthy.They do not make headlines. We have a choice on what we choose to focus on.
My sisters, focus on what is good, beautiful, and worthy of praise of our Lord. His beautiful nature is expressed in the perfection of His work. We see it in nature, from the symmetrical design of flowers, snowflakes, seashells, to the macro cosmic, of the laws of physics that govern our stars and planets, There are laws of nature, and there is a Lawmaker. For He gave us eyes to witness His design. If there is a design, is there not a Designer? Scientists in universities are being ostracised and their careers sabotaged within the academic system to even dare concur that there is indeed evidence of a Designer by design with overwhelming evidence.
Do not let this world ever shame you into denying that you believe you were made, by a Maker.

Just out of hospital 13 days after DIEP. I was in bad shape, things did not go well. Praise God for being with me in a very dark and frightening place for many days and nights.

Gentle hugs for you. Oh, I am so sorry for these last two weeks of all that you have been through. Praise God that He has been with you. I have felt His everpresent love and peaceful presence in my darkest days, when I was suffering terribly physically, I had been betrayed, and no one really understood what I was going through. He was with me, and He is there for anyone who calls on His name. We are his flock, and He tends to us.

Thank you so much, Kathy for praying for Dudley, and all the prayers that you offer up to God all the time for our sisters in need. DH told me more of the rescue last night, and how he found him, and it is a miracle. He was found within about half hour of me posting that prayer request. Thank you, all sisters, who read that request and prayed as well. I had knocked out right after I posted that request, as I had taken my sleep med hours before (right before we realized he was gone).
It is indeed a happy day!

Dear Lord,
Please lift up the sad hearts that are sinking in despair. Give them true hope that only You can provide. Let them rest in Your everloving care.
Please sustain Tori as her husband has been deployed in the military and she is enduring tx without her partner.
Please provide healing for Marxi, Jo, and any sisters that need Your care, as You have promised to bind up our wounds.
Please heal the hearts of BCO sisters who have been wounded by the careless words, intentional or not, of a few, and have left the boards because of this. Their condition lays them vulnerable, and they need Your love.
Please be with our dear Footprintsangel, whose presence here is so dearly missed. She invited me to this thread, she told me she loved me, and I know that You spoke those words through her.
Lord, please sustain, heal, and give peace that only You can provide to Nil, who is as beautiful in spirit as a rose. Please bring healing, comfort, and peace to all the young women like her devastated by this disease. May you also keep young mothers alive, to raise their children. Please show Your mercy and grace to them, that their children are not left motherless.
Please lift up Linnea and sisters like her, who are beginning their journey of treatment, that You may cast their fear away, and sustain them with hope, and strengthen them.
Please be with Ephie, whose only teenage daughter is traveling abroad. Please keep her daughter safe with a hedge of protection.
And with a heart heavy for all the devastation in Japan, I ask You please save anyone that is buried in the rubble, or is still alive and needs rescuing. Thank you that China, a rival, has laid aside their differences to offer aid in Japan's time of desperation.

I would like to ask for prayers for my mom, Terry, who's kidneys are deteriorating. Please pray for her to remain comfortable, no nausea nor dizziness nor pain. I pray to spend my birthday with her, I bought my plane ticket and will take a 5 hour flight to see her on March 29, this will be my first solo trip since BC and worry about lymphedema and unable to handle the heavy luggage by myself. I pray for help and protection. Amen!0 -
Diamond Girl, Do you have a lymphedema glove and sleeve for plane travel? Do you have luggage on wheels, or can you get some for your trip? I have trained my other arm to do a lot more. Maybe you can arrange help with the airlines or airport beforehand if you need to bring a lot, or at least try to streamline what you will bring.

Try to put yourself into their place, imagine yourself losing your child, parents, wife, husband, friend, any loved ones, home, car or food or anything that you thought that belonged to you and Please try to understand how much support, prayers they would need from other people around the world including "us". Nothing is For Granted in this Life, Who knows what is waiting us Tomorrow???. One Individual Can Make a Big Difference, and that indeed, it is each person's responsibility to do so. The magnitude 9.0 earthquake that struck Japan last Friday was powerful enough to shorten Earth's day by 1.8 microseconds and throw an extra 6.7 inches (17 centimeters) into the planet's wobble, scientists say.
In the midst of all this suffering, there are amazing stories of survival and of the human spirit rising to the occasion. There is an American 6 year old who is selling her art to raise money for Japan. This morning, I watched a video of even a dog that stood guard over his canine friend, and led rescuers to him. Sandra Bullock has donated 1 million. If you have the resources, please donate to help aid Japan. This is a catastrophe of unimaginable proportion. Please pray for the resolution to the threat of a nuclear plant disaster as a result of the Japan quake. Please pray that any living survivors needing rescue are found, and that our nations will come together with the world's resources to give aid. It is amazing that Japan's rival, China, has laid aside differences and has done so already.
