My Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ, as we begin this new year, 2012, I send out intercessory prayers for all my sisters and brothers here on BCo, together with thieir loved ones. May your healing grace be the gift to each of them this year. Dear Lord, no matter where they may be in their belief system, we know that you are able. Help all to understand our similarities rather than our differences and accept us as we are implored to accept others.
For myself and my brothers and sisters in Christ, I ask that you help us to grow closer to you each day and that our lives would be a testimony for you. Let the things that we say and do with and for others not be misunderstood but be humbling and worthy of your love.
In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Dear Lord, Thank you for all your blessings throughout this past year. I've found so many wonderful friends including myself. Please open your arms and accept our wonderful sisters and brothers who moved from this life to the next. Keep them safe and pain free in your wonderful kingdom. Please comfort all my friends and their friends who are struggling today. Please help all the families struggling on these boards. Provide them strength for all the testing and procedures they will endure. Please pray for my brother-in-law who is struggling with a massive infection. Heal his wounds Lord, he's had more than any person should handle in life. Please keep foots in your arms free from pain and easier breathing.

Dear Lord, Thank You for all that You are doing to help us
stay strong and rest in Your caring arms when we feel like
need strength and peace. Thank You for all the wonderful
and caring love that is shared here on-line. Please bless and
comfort Maureens brother-in-law and others here that are in
pain. Help the Dr feel Your comforting peace and know that
You are guiding them threw any decisions they have to make.
And the caring nurses that guide and help us see the light.

Hello ladies! I 'm new to the boards......just diagnosed a few weeks ago and awaiting surgery on the 24th....a rt. side mx with immediate recon. So glad to find believers on here! The Lord is so good....everywhere I turn, I see his hand at work. His provisions are abundant!

Sissydi...Good attitude...Romans 8:28, all things work together for good to those who love God. I decided first time around to look for the good and I've learned a lot of good from this...I had to face so much but in it all I've learned a lot. But, going through a recent mx was like walking through the fire. The whole thing is we have the Lord walking through it with us. We're not alone.
You might want to read the surgical post on mastectomies. I wish I had read more about mastectomies to have been better prepared mentally for the surgery. I would suggest you read the reconstruction threads as well. It helped prepared me for what was to come.
I am glad I chose to keep the left breast. Some don't feel so much a lost, but I did. It's ok to feel sad, and be real through it all. We don't have to be the super hero's...but we know who is

Thanks Eve. Just found out today I am HER2+ as well, so reading up on that and thankful for Herceptin! Seeing the oncologist for the first time kind of drove home reality a bit for me today.....I have been so focused on reconstruction and TE's and all that stuff, that In my mind, I've pushed the whole cancer thing out. One step at a time! My surgery is two weeks away yet, and treatment even further, so right now I am taking care of myself physically and spiritually. Staying in the Word is key! Thanks for your encouragement!

My Father in Heaven, I lift up our sister Sissydi into your tender healing arms. Encircle her dear Jesus so that she continually feels your presence in her life and through this new journey. We know that you always have our best interests and so we leave it to you, focusing on your Word that will not be returned void. Thank you for all you have given, are giving and will give to your children for we know that we are far from deserving but we continue to follow you steadfastly down that narrow path. Please order and direct the doctors who are taking care of your children so that we go forward without fear or worry. You are our best and only defense in this life, Lord and for that we are grateful.

Dear Lord,
Thank you for good test results for Gina's DH and that they came back benign. After going through so much with her breast cancer, it is something they were really struggling with. Please continue to bless them and may their health improve.

Heavenly Father,
I pray that the treatments we have all received have done their job of eliminating, eradicating, and destroying every last cancer cell/malignancy in our bodies...that those treatments will not now or in the future cause us any temporary or permanent damage...that we all be cured and healed from the evilness that once had invaded our bodies, and that we all live long, happy, healthy lives with all those we love...being the best versions of ourselves in the honor and glory of our Lord...
I ask for blessing upon our families, that they are happy and healthy and living a life in accordance with our Lord.I ask for blessings upon all those that suffer needlessly each day...
I ask for blessings for our military that do so much to keep our freedom ours...

Dear Lord,
Please be with all who are facing end of life issues with either themselves or family members. Trying to help family through difficulties whie facing our own can seem overwhelming sometimes. Please help us to remember You are in control of everything and are with us always.
