Good morning everyone, been away for a few days. I had my 5th chemo treatment on Monday, and my port put in on Thursday, it was a pleasant experience. The surgeon sang during surgery it was wonderful. I am feeling okay, with not many SE's.

Hi Ladies!
What a busy few days! Can I please ask for some prayer this morning? My oncologist has referred me to a rheumatologist to try and rule out any autoimmune diseases that may have stemmed from all of the chemo and radiation that I have had. I am still incredibly weak and tired, as well as anemic and neutropenic. Hopefully this Dr will give me some insight as to what is going on, and better yet, how we can fix it! I am so ready to feel better! I will send an update later this evening. Thank you ladies; I love you all!

Dear Patoo,
Thank you so much for the kind thoughts and prayers! I did see my Rheumatologist, and she said that I do not have Rheumatoid Arthritis, (thank goodness!), but it appears as if I may have Fibromyalgia. She did some more blood work, and I'll have the results of that in the next week or so. She said that there was not a definitive test for fibromyalgia, it is just more or less a series of symptoms that combined form a syndrome, so to speak. I'll admit, I'm a bit confused and disheartened - the last thing I wanted was to be diagnosed with something else! I'm only 33.:( She is trying to determine the cause of my anemia and neutropenia as well - she seems to think the neutropenia is due to something going on with my bone marrow, and the anemia is just an unlucky side effect of all the chemo and radiation. I'm a bit scared and frustrated. Please pray that my blood work comes out okay!

Gracious Father, I lift Brandi to Your heavenly throne. Please calm her fears Lord with Your Spirit. I pray that her bloodwork would turn out well, that You would protect her from any serious complications, and that You would restore her strength and give her freedom from pain.
