Father in Heaven, How grateful we are for whatever situation
we're in, Lord, You are there with us. Thank You for going
before us, Standing beside and behind us, and covering us
with Your protective presence. When we face danger, You
are our Guardian, When the tempter is hammering at our
hearts, You deflect his fiery darts. When we are ill, You fight
for us to regain our health. Thank You for loving us, Lord.
Whenever we pray we feel Your warm around us, We praise
You for how Your Holy Spirit fills our hearts and restores our

Kathleen - our Father knows our hearts. He also enjoys our sense of humor so your mom was right - you and many others have the intent to ask lots of questions on Judgment Day. But, be forewarned, I think we will be so awestruck when we come before Him that all questions will melt away - do you know the song "I Can Only Imagine".

I get results on Thursday . God is so in control and I have to remind myself at times. I love the song also. It is wonderful how music can minister to us. I listen to music on the way to and from appts. I praise God down the interstate....

One of my favorite phrases in the Bible is "the people got puffed up." It is when things are going well, you are healthy, prosperous and life is looking pretty good - man strays away from God since he no longer thinks he needs God. When life turns sour, man goes running back to God. It is cited over and over in the Bible so the Lord knows our hearts and has cautioned us many, many times. I guess our Moms would say we are getting too big for our britches.
I'm trying really hard to not "get too big for my britches." We all need God in our lives all the time, especially the good times. I need to remember my blessings every day. Faith, you help a lot with your prayers as do all my breast friends. Today, my blessing is that I found this web site and made so many good friends. I think the Lord put you women in my life to help me grow spiritually. Thank you.

I need prayers dear sisters. It is a tough time found out we lost medical coverage. My hubby screwed up some how on paper work on our cobra coverage. H eknew did not tell me. Now I am major stressed. I want hubby to pack and leave. I will be get help then maybe. He has never been the hubby I need. So I am going thru a valley. I said how do you think I will get tx and meds he said I dont know. He can just go and leave please. I am so distraught. I am sorry to burden you all. But I need you. I love you all and know you are here for me. I have never much had him by my side in this or anything. I know God can make a way. I just need to see a way soon. Thank you all dear sisters.

Kbug, sorry you are going through this and my prayer is that you will hold on even tighter to the Lord to see you through. He will find a way.
Many of our medical facilities have social workers who can assist. Please call your docs office or local hospital and see if they can point you toward resources. Also, go on to your state website and see if there are programs for you. I believe there is also a 'resource' thread here as well.
HUGS falling out of the sky and gently surrounding you. Oh, they are soooooooo warm - can you feel the love of your sisters?

Kbug, Patoo offers some good advice. Please call your local and not so local hospitals and see what they can offer you. My heart is breaking for you. Please know that we are all behind you. God will heelp you find the way.

Kbug ... I am so sorry to hear about your plight. You will be in my prayers. In November my COBRA runs out and only God knows what converting it to a private policy will cost. I don't know what you situation is but I have not worked in 18 months so no money coming in for the last 12 months. When you take the HIPAA conversation they just charge you up the ying yang. I think you end up paying at least twice as much for half the benefits. God will sustain us. Just got to believe and hold on. (((((((HUGS))))))
Foots ... that prayer was so beautiful I copied it to Word, blew it up and will frame it on my wall so it is the first thing I look at when I wake up and the last thing I see before bed. The prayer holds all the truths I need to work on to strengthen my beliefs. Thank you.

I am here......and have been feeling so bad. I cancelled my appt with the GP and made one with my Onco. The GP was new.....and I didn't trust him to help me much at this point.
I'm not sure if the Tamoxifen is making me hurt this much.......or it's something else. My hips hurt so bad....especially my left hip......that I have to physically lift my leg to get my pants on. And trying to get that leg in and out of the car is almost impossible. I have ZERO energy.......and sleep most of the time. I know this isn't normal........but I just don't know what's causing it. I have to go for blood work tomorrow....then I go see him next week. I slept for 3 hours this morning when I laid back down.....and I'm falling asleep typing this. NOT NORMAL.........
Kbug....I'm so sorry about your insurance. I do know from past experience there are organizations out there that will help you out. Start out with telling your Dr.....they will hook you up with a social worker.

I just got back from the cancer Dr and have tests Monday to find
out why my body is in so much pain. He fell my swollen chest and
said my bones feel weaker, The nurse said she feels my nodes in my
Thyroid(never could before) are sore and to be careful, I am praying for you all. Footprintsangel
