    Spar2 honey, can you feel the love of Christ coming to you through all your sisters here?

    My son has also told me the same thing and he lives here with me.  I don't talk to him about his turning away but he sees the way I live and that is the best sermon he can get (helps me walk the straight and narrow as well).  We can only do so much and then have to let go and let God do the rest.  Don't push them.  By their telling you to stop praying means they are being convicted by our prayers and the Holy Spirit and that's a good sign.

    Blessings and love to all.

    Well, we just got back from church and a message from my grandson was waiting for me that said he has never had any family closeness or any family values which is such a bunch of crap.  I wrote back and reminded him of all the family vacations taken together all the holidays etc.  I swear when I get a handle on things in comes satan trying to mess with my mind.  Lord please give me strength and wisdom and protect Kaleb and let the holy spirit move in his heart.  Please save him.  I ask in Jesus name.  Amen

    My soul, waits silently for God alone

    For my expection is from Him.

    He only is my rock and my salvation;

    He is my defense;

    In God is my salvation and my glory;

    The rock of my strength,

    And my refuge is God. Psalms 62:5-7

    Peace I leave with you, My peace I give

    unto you, Not as the world giveth do I

    give to you. Let not your heart be troubled

    neither let it be afraid. John 14:27

    Lord, We lift to You the situations of our life

    that concern us. We lay all our worries and

    illness and pain before You and ask for Your

    mighty intervention to show us all what we can

    do to make it easier to handle. We are deter-

    mined to see the good in everything, and not

    be blinded by our fear, pains, tests, doubts,

    or even preconceived ideas. Strengthen us as

    we each are climbing our own mountains. Some

    mountains are very steep and others we just need

    a boost. Help us all to remember You O Lord, Our

    everything we need to climb even the tallest mountain.

    Please bless Genia, kmccraw423, Jo, Mary, Patoo,

    Spar,kbugmom,Selya, Saint, mmm5, Jane, and all the

    other wonderful sisters and friends here in need of Your

    touch, comfort and peace, Cause we are Your winning

    children, And Love You Lord, Thank You for all You are

    doing to help us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

    O Lord. Over and over we give You our pain and shortcomings.

    Each time we do, Father, You show us the answers in You Word

    of healing and assurance, of love and protection. We find ourselves

    often turning to Ephesians where it tells about Your spiritual armor

    the way it helps us. How grateful we are for another piece of Your

    spiritual armor Lord. Your helmet of salvation. By Your grace, We

    are saved from sin and hopelessness. Because of Your unfailing

    love for us and our love for You, We are always Your children. Thank

    You for the helmet that guards our thoughts and and our souls. Because

    of You, dear Lord, We have no worries for the future, and hope for someday

    to see a wonderful ,eternal life to look forward to being in heaven with You.

    Thank You for guarding our thoughts and helping us to focus on things that

    are beneficial and constructive. Please give us a positive, healthy outlook as

    we reflect on Your love for us all. Lord, be with and bless, Genia, Jo, Jane,

    kbumom, Selya, Armywifenmommy, kmccraw423, mmm5, Spar, Saint,

    patoo, and other caring people in need of the Lords loving hands reaching

    out to help them through their trials. Bless all the troops and bless armywifenmommy

    husband. Help them to feel Your hand guiding them to safety, We love You Lord,

    Thank You for all the wonderful things You do for us. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

    The power of prayer there is nothing stronger.  I got the best news.  My grandson is going to treatment and he said not because anyone else wants him to but because it is his decision and he wants to get his life straight for once.  He joined Narcotics A and his friends are saying how proud they are and supporting him.  I am praising God all over the place.  This is Gods work and you guys for helping me pray.  Thank you all so much.  Can you tell I am just bubbling over with happiness.  Thank you Lord.  You are so awesome!!!!!

    Spar2 - WOW!  We always know the Lord hears the prayers of His children but it still takes our breath away each time it happens.  So we are praising God along with you.

    I've been spending an enormous amount of time on these boards and it's taken away from my time with Him.  I'm going to take this weekend off and give Him my attention, especially in light of this wonderful news.  I will do a special praise and worship dance for your grandson at church Sunday morning.

    Armywifenmommy - a big Welcome to you.  We prefer to meet under different conditions but as long as we are all here we may as well do group hugs and support.

    were lost and had no way to turn, You saved us. You turned

    the future into eternity. We seek Your wise guidance, Lord. Let

    our mouths praise You. Let us honor you with everything we do.

    isn't true. You cause Your favors and love to shine upon us--and

    all others that serve You. We praise You for being our tower of

    refuge, Our place of safety when things go wrong. How grateful

    i need to ask for your prayers for my littlest boy.  he had complained that he was not feeling himself lately and it took me a bit to get him a dr appt.  well today was his appt - and they almost did not let me take him home...  it appears something is wrong with his pancreas...

     one day at a time.  they took eleven vials of blood and are having us check blood sugars contstantly - and we go back to endocrinologist on monday...

     i should have paid closer attention.  *sigh*  we could use the extra prayers....

    For in time of trouble

    He shall hide me in His pavillion;

    In the secert place of His tabernacle

    He shall hide me;

    He shall set me high on a rock. Psalm 27:5

    I command you--be strong and courageous!

    Do not be afraid or discouraged, For the Lord

    your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

    Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord.

    Psalm31:24

    Fear is a normal response, But you can move beyond

    fear to trust in God's love for You.

    The Lord is my light and my salvation;

    Whom shall I fear?

    The Lord is the strength of my life;

    Of whom shall I be afraid?

     Psalm 27:5

    us goes beyond our comprehension. Thank You for helping us to

    understand Your help You give us through our battling cancer and

    other concerns. Nothing is to great or small for us to bring to You.

    When we are at our best, We know Your love. When we are down

    not pleasant to be around, You never leave us. Instead, We praise

    You for remaining close and comforting us. We are thankful Lord,
