Foots - as always a beautiful prayer.  Sometimes all we can do is hang onto the hollow of His hand and ride out the storm.

Deborye - Ivorymom is so right - a perfect prayer and could not be more timely.

Kbugmom - my faith falters at times but I come here and it is restored.

God bless you, my prayer sisters.  I am so blessed to have you in my life.

Heavenly Father, I pray that Thou will remind me to have kind words for all I meet, to think before I speak, to glory in Your truth and to always remember that these are all Thy children and treat them with the same love and kindness You do.  Please bless all of our troops and bring them home soon.  Comfort those who have been injured, soothe their fevered brow and give strength and support to their loved ones in this troubled time.  I say these things in the name of Thy Beloved Son, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Thank You, Father God, For giving us Your blessed

assurance that we are in Your constant watch. Thank

You for helping us to lay our entire life at Your altar.

Thank You for helping us to remember how much You

love us all. In full assurance of Your love, We relinquish

our guilt and pain, In full assurance, We know You will

roll it all away. You remove our bitterness about having

cancer. You comfort us. You cover our tears with Your

Your smile. In the desert scenes of our life, Your hope

bursts forth like a vibrant cactus flowers blooming after a

sudden rain shower. When our days go as smooth as

glass, We praise Your for assuring love. When the storms

of life crash in and billows roar, We will still praise You.

We feel  a soothing balm from Your warm hand touching

our bodies, Help us to rest as much as possible and focus

on You. For You are our Great Physician and We thank You

for being there when our pain from cancer or chemo is there.

Lord, please guide Debbie's doctors today that they may find the truth and ease her pain and suffering so she can continue to do Your work here.  I know You know she is one of your angels put here by You to help us.  Despite her suffering she continually reaches out to others.  Her prayers for her sisters seem to come at just the right time to pull us back from the abyss of darkness and deliver us to Your light.  If it is Thy will we pray that you grant her many many years of pain-free life devoted to You oh Lord.  She is truly Your daughter. We ask these things in the name of Thy beloved son, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Lord we thank you for giving us another day and know that you are there with us each step of the way.  I lift up Foots and all my friends here to you today.  Please give them a whopping share of your blessing today that they may rejoice in your love.

I also pray on this, Veteran's Day, for all our soldiers, past and present, dear Lord, that you will touch them in a way that they will know for sure that you are there with them whether here on home soil or overseas sacrificing their lives and families that we may breathe free.

In the precious name of Jesus, Amen.

God, I come to your throne for prayer
Knowing that you are always near
You always know what's on my mind,
For you are always right on time.

I have so many dear loving friends
Some in need, others hurt so much.

Would you please just stop by today,
To let them feel your loving touch
I just leave them in your loving care
As I kneel before you, I leave a prayer.
That You will supply each need today,
They will know you are not far away.

I leave them now in your strong arms
Knowing Lord, your will be done,
All things happen, it is your plan,
Someday in glory we will understand.

    Amen

    Your Door is Always Ajar

I had a dream the other night, In my dream, I rose

from my bed and walk down the hall to a room I knew

You would be in, Father. As I approached, I could  a

light streaming from the door that was ajar, I knocked

lightly and heard Your welcoming voice says, Come in."

I entered and sat at Your feet. There, we talked for

hours. Time didn't matter. I brought up everything

weighing on my mind. On and on I went, unloading

    my cares at Your feet.

"No matter," You said. "I have plenty of room to take

them." I continued . I told You about my past and

dreams for the future, I shared my joys and funny

things that happened. You laughed, Father! You

actually laughed with me. You cried too. You held

me close and dried my tears with the hem of Your

robe. I thanked You and rose to my feet. It was

time to leave. You smiled and nodded.

"The door is always ajar, dear child," You reminded.

The next morning I felt rested and refreshed. Prayers

to You were still on my lips. The warmth of Your love

still filled my heart. I look to forward entering again very

soon that door which is always ajar.

Jesus said, " Come unto me all who are

weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me,

For I am gentle and humble in heart,

and you will find rest for your souls.

For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

    Matthew 11: 28-30

    God bless You all!

     Let us touch Your hem

O Lord, These things we are going through, Father, is

beyond our endurance. We are pressed in on all sides.

No matter which way we turn. We ache with indescribable

pain and cry until there are no more tears. Why must we

face such things? We don't know if we can take any more.

You are our Savior, Our Strength and Defender. Although

we are discouraged and afraid, We will still trust in You.

Let us touch the hem of Your garment, Lord. Let us  hold

its threads in our fingers. Help us to tie a knot in the strands

and not let go of our hope in You.

Come to Me, you who are heavy laden. You are My dear child.

I know for certain, there are no troubles you face that others have

not gone through before you. I will take these things and make a

way of escape for you. Take my yoke. Place it on your shoulders.

It will not make your load heavier. I am helping you carry it so your

burdens will become lighter and easier. Rest upon My everlasting

arms, for they are under you all the time. Here is the hem of My

garment, touch it. Feel My presence. In your weakness, know

    My strength and healing.

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for the hem  of Your garment and for

    Your loving touch. Amen

Thank You, Lord, that You are our defender.

You are more powerful than any plan the

enemy has against us. Thank You that You

will never leave us or forsake us, and that You

are always strong in our behalf. " I will lift up my

eyes to the hills--from whence comes my help?

My help comes from the Lord, who made the

heaven and earth." (Psalm 121: 1-2). No matter

what happens, We will look to You to deliver us

from the hands of all that opposes us. We know

that because we put our trust in You, You will be

our shield(Proverbs 30:5) And I will not fear what

man can do to me. "Lead me, O Lord, in Your

righteousness because of my enemies; make

Your way straight before my face."(Psalms 5:8)

In ourselves we don't have to establish a formidable

defense. We cannot protect ourselves and all we

care about from weapons of the enemy. But the

enemy's strength is nothing to us. And no weapon

formed against me shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) I

know You have armed me with strength for the

battle and will keep me safe. (Psalms 18:39) Help

me to "cast of the works of darkness, and....put

on the armor of light." (Romans 13:12). Cause a

song of deliverance to rise in our hearts and we

will sing praise to Your glory as You fight the

battles for us. Be with and bless, Genia, Patoo

HI Genia and everybody in this thread..Indeed there is power in prayer..In prayer, God had showed His miraculous hands, mercy and love towards His children..

in my diagnosis to have a breast cancer just this year, God had answered our prayers for healing and for delivery from the cancer..my prayers, and my family's prayers and my friend's prayers..God answered..He delivered me indeed..Result of the pathology is negative for cancer and clear margins..and the best thing is NO NEED for chemotherapy..

Debbie, I know that you are in so much pain.  I pray that the Lord will take your pain away, quench your thirst and soothe your brow.  He is constantly feeding your soul.  Sometimes all you have to hold onto is your faith so hold tight.  The evil one preys upon the righteous.  There is no accomplishment in converting a sinner to his side.  He already has them.  Stay steadfast, as I know you will, and know that so many are praying so hard for you to experience relief from this relentless pain.  I wish I could wrap you in angel's wings and keep you safe.  God loves you, we love you and I love you.
