Hi everyone.  Happy New Year to all the wonderful ladies here.  I have been reading your inspirational posts, but never posted.   I have come here to ask for your prayers.  I just finished 8 rounds of chemo before surgery in the hopes that it would shrink the tumor.  Met with the onc. to get results of the latest MRI and did not receive good news.  The last rounds of chemo had not shrank the tumor and the MRI showed something new further back in the same breast.  The radiologist said that under normal circumstance, he would wait 2 to 3 months and re-do the MRI.  However, since my circumstance isn't normal, he wants to do a MRI guided biopsy as soon as possible.  He thinks it is benign, but wants to be sure.  As you can guess, I am scared.  Please pray that it is benign.  Thank you so much for your support.  I greatly appreciate it.

I give many prayers of thanks for the results of the latest scans have shown no progression and I have reached 3 years from my dx.  I give thanks for all the people who have entered my life when I mosted needed them (and usually didn't know it).

I offer prayers for all who are in need, in pain, in treatment, in recovery from surgery, in anguish because of the circumstances. Please help them through and may they know that all they need to get through another day is there, here, with in.

EWB, that is great news!  God is awesome because He answers prayers even when we have our doubts, are afraid, lonely, despondent.  Even when we question our faith, He is there, with His arms snugly wrapped around us and whether we acknowledge it or not His children simply cannot ignore the feeling of warmth.

I praise you for your faithfulness and love of Jesus Christ as I know it hasn't been an easy road for you to travel.

Lord, for all my sisters who have recently been sharing their good news, I lift them up that they may continue to let others know of Your grace and mercy.  In this new year of 2010, I ask for more of the same, good news during this journey so that all may know of your presence.

In the precious name of my saviour, the Christ Jesus, Amen.

O Father, When temptations and confusions of this world

press around us, Lord, let our thoughts be focused on what

pleases You. May our minds meditate on Your teachings

throughout our day and night. Let us drink in Your priceless

words of scriptures. Hide them in our memory banks, We

pray, so we may apply them to our daily life. Grant us

strength and guidance through Your Holy Spirit, to honor

You in what we watch, read, and observe. May all this be

delightful and pleasing to You. When the dry winds of

stress flurry around us, We will not be consumed, for our

spiritual roots sink deep in You. With Your help, our leaves

shall not wither. They shall produce the priceless fruits of

Your Spirit: unselfish love, joyfulness, harmony, patience,

kindness, goodness, faithfulness, sensitivity, and self-

control. We will think of Your marvelous works and reflect

on Your mighty things You do, for Your ways, O God, are

holy. We marvel at how You display astounding power.

We treasure the recollections of the many instances You

have placed Your blessing upon us. Let us meditate on

You every day. Guide our decisions. May each one bring

respect to You, Guide our minds and hearts, We pray, We

want to honor You with pure, obedient thoughts, words, and

deeds. Please watch over and help our dear friends; Genia,

Jo, Holly, Patoo, Faith, Spar, EWB, armywifenmommy, Jane,

mmm5, AnnaM, Rose, Paula, Linda, Makraz, Seyla, Saint,

and any others here in need of Your loving and caring. Thank

You Lord for this wonderful family of prayers and kindness.

    Dear Compassionate One.

I thank you that you have guided me thru this 'season' of waiting. I know the answers are forthcoming as to what is happening in my body. I thank you for giving me the examples here of so many strong and amazing women. Their example has given me a sense of appreciation and a trust that I will hold up thru the storm -- with Your support, being expressed thru their caring.

Thank you for the prayers that have kept me calm.

Thank you for the prayers that have opened my heart toward acceptance.

Thank you for the epiphany of how to strengthen our marriage in the midst of the unknowns.

Thank you for the blessing of living to meet my grandchildren. Thank you for the quality time I was able to spend with them this weekend. Thank you for the whirl of activity that has worn me out, but has brightened my heart.

Now I go to rest and rejuvinate. Tomorrow promises to be a big day & I know that you'll send me just the right support for the situation as it unfolds. And so I say thank you, again.

Thank you for this site. It has truly been my "God-send" thru these last couple of years.

I ask your blessings upon so many here who are new to the journey, who are frightened or alone. I ask that you send your angels to comfort those in need. I ask that you surround us with your love in the dark places. I ask that you look with compassion upon the young mothers, the single women, those without insurance, those making decisions, those awaiting treatment, those experiencing side effects, those whose hope has vanished.

Show your compassion. Send us progress toward a CURE.

    Strength and courage.

    Strength and courage.

    Strength and courage.

O Lord, Thank You for giving us Your blessed assurance

that we are in Your constant watch---not only us, but

everything and everyone we care about. Thank You for

helping us to lay our entire life on Your altar. Thank You

for helping us remember how much You love us. In full

assurance of Your love, We relinquish our guilt and

pain. In full assurance, We know You roll it all away.

You remove our bitterness. You comfort us. You cover

our tears with Your smile. In the desert of our life, Your

hope bursts forth like vibrant cactus flowers blooming

after a rain shower. When our days go smooth as glass,

We praise You for Your assuring love. When the storms

of life crash in and billows roar, We will still praise You.

You are always near----guiding and watching over us.

When we are at our best, We sense Your approval. When

We are at our worst, We experience Your love and

forgiveness. Here with You, We leave it all, our hopes and

dreams and wants. Here, We trust Your assuring hands

to pick up the struggling life's of ours, turn it around, then

mold them in the best way You know. We give it all to You
