    Thank you all for your prayers and continued prayers.  I am feeling much calmer since receiving the news through prayer, meditating on God's Word and reading the prayers posted here.  You are all wonderful and I greatly appreciate the prayers spoken on my behalf.  I had to drop off my films from previous MRIs and Mammograms, and when I didn't hear back from them by this afternoon, I called them.  They told me that the radiologist wants to review the films I dropped off and re-review the MRI from Tuesday.  They will let me know as soon as they hear back from him.  Don't they realize how hard it is for someone to wait?

    I have turned all my fears and concerns over to God and I am going to let him handle it.  I will let you guys know when I know more. 

    Dear Lord, I ask you to bless all the people on this site and bring comfort and peace to those who are going through difficulties.  You are the Everlasting God. You do not faint, you won't grow weary. You're the defender of the weak. You comfort those in need. You lift us up on wings like eagles. Strength will rise as we wait upon you.  Thank you Lord for all the wonderful things you do.  In your name we pray. Amen.

    Thank you for the prayers that have helped me thru the waiting-and-wondering stage.

    Now I move to the praying-before-surgery phase.

    I am scheduled for Jan 15th: bilateral mastectomy.

    Please pray for my continued sense of calm and acceptance.

    Please pray that I have the strength to tell those who love & care about me, what this next phase is going to include.

    I know my dear friends will be heart-sick on my behalf and that just breaks my heart.

    I will need you to carry me thru the "announcement" phase -- which is at hand.

    Dear Father, Please be with our sister Faith as she comes

    to You for strength and peace threw her surgery. Be with

    the doctors and nurse, Guide them that all will go well for

    Faith. Help her family and friends to stay strong in pray

    for her. Lord, She is a very special gift to alot of us here.

    Be with her when she tells her people that they we except

    and help her through this time. We know You will help her to

    be a winner so we can have our Sister Debbietoo to Hug and

    make us smile. Thank You Lord for helping Faith to get  through

    this time, With You by her side, In Your name we lift Debbie to

    You, For Your care and peace. Amen

    Dear sisters

    I have an update on Andi, the young lady who was in a terrible auto accident right after Christmas.  She had a CT scan today and it showed that the brain had went too long without oxygen.  The doctors told the family that the outcome looks grim.  Please pray for God to WOW us with a miracle.  Also, Jordan, my sons friend who also has brain damage, he and Andi graduated highschool together.  How sad is that....my heart breaks.....God needs to do a double duty here with the miracles.......

    I had a meltdown this weekend.  Everyone had told me how strong I was through all my surgeries.  They did not know that I was keeping everything inside.  The anger I felt just kept building up and festering.  Anything would rile me up.  I was pushing away my DH.  My friends and clients had to hear my rantings about something that made me mad.  I even was pushing God to the side and felt my prayers were empty.  Finally God let me fall to the bottom so He could pull me up.  He used my DH to get me to the point of letting everything come out. I just exploded.   We sobbed together.  Afterwards I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders.  I have been a different person...Linda is back....praise be to God almighty.  Apparently this happens to a number of women who have been through breast amputation.  Either you grieve before surgery or you hold everything in and burst when you cannot handle any more.

    Please pray for all the women who are experiencing this. It can affect your family and friends.  My DH said he thought we were heading toward a divorce.

    us rest and for drying our tears and helping us to see things

    clearly, allowing us to choose Your righteous ways. You

    are our Lord, our God, Your whispers give us confidence

    and teach us what is best. Our souls find healing in You,

    O Lord. How good You are to us. Be with and help our

    I just saw this thread.  I think it is very nice!  I am a big believer in prayer... it works!  When I was 1st dx'd, March 2007,  my family put me on their prayer list at church.  My oldest sister's SIL had prayers said in her choir group at church, one of my sisters worked in a neurosurgeon's office, and she told me that some of her patients and a friend and bc survivor have told her that they are praying for me, and I had a prayer circle from a previous employer who also prayed for me. 

    I know it helped me to get through so much of the early dx., surgery, treatment, and that is why I am so grateful for all the prayers.

    Todays devotional heading was:

    My GOD is huge and my GOD is able. If I don't get what I ask for, I know I'll get something bigger.

    I needed that reminder that GOD does answer prayer, but not always in the way's we understand. 

    I do not post regularly but am blessed every time I read this thread by the hope and unwavering faith that is expressed here.

    Thanks for your post.....

    I was glad to find out that what I was experiencing was normal and I was not alone. 

    I was only get out Father God to begin my prayers and then it would stop.  That is so comforting to know that when we are down and out and cannot pray that the Holy Spirit is there for us.

    I ask that you prayers warriors continue to pray with me on behalf of Andi and Jordan...that God would WOW us with miracle healings for these 2 young people who have brain injuries.

    Thanks so much for sharing your very personal experiences! It really means so much to all of us when we know we are not alone in our feelings. I am so glad you are feeling more at peace and so glad you were able to work with through it with your Husband.

    I continue to pray for Andi  and Jordan, I so hope our prayers are heard on their behalf. As a Mother I can't even imagine what these parents must be dealing with. I hope we can all band together and pray for these families.

    Debbie (foots) how were your appts this week? I pray for you every day!
