    Help her to stay strong through her chemo. Bless the Dr

    Dear Lord, We bring You all the people in Haiti, Be with

    them and comfort them threw this hard time. Help them

    to rescue people that are stuck in the earthquake, Please

    be with all the children, lost and needing someone to reach

    out to them. May this world reach out in love, Like You

    would do for us. Bless the Red Cross and help them to

    get what they need to help the people start over again.

    Thank You for all You are doing for them. In Your wonderful

    name we prayer. Amen

    A Missions team of 18 from 2 churchs in my area arrived in Haiti and were probably on a bus heading 2-hours away to where they would be staying when the earthquake hit yesterday.  My church also supports several Missionaries stationed in Haiti.  While we have not heard anything from any of them yet I ask the Lord to protect them so they can share the love of Christ with the Haitians.  Lord this is a crucial time to get your message of hope throughout and we ask your strength for these workers during this time. Amen.

    Dear Lord, We just watched the world news, Lord. New technology

    makes us seem closer together then before. Bad new; Wars; Floods,

    Earthquakes, Tornadoes. Good new; People making peace. People

    helping people. New beginnings. World wide mission. Revivals. Sacrifices

    for others. Kindness shown. We treasure those good reports, Lord.

    When we hear bad news, We feel called to help however we can. Lord,

    help the people that have just had a tragedy. Be with leaders everywhere.

    Rally them to follow You. Watch over the ministers, missionaries, and

    Christian workers. Grant each one protection. strength, wisdom and

    plenty of love. Clothe them with Your holy armor. Let all people know

    of Your love. Show us ways that we can make a difference. Lord we

    realize there are Christians all around the world who love and serve

    You. They are praying fervently for each other. Some pray for us.

    Thank You for them. Help us as Your followers to join in prayers.

    Turn hearts to You. For those in bondage or free. You paid the

    price to truly free our souls. Help our hurting world call You and

    obey Your will. Heal us. Restore us. Grant us the peace of heart

    that comes from only You. In Jesus name we pray. Amen

    where we are or what circumstances we face, We are

    confident You are with us--helping and guiding us every

    step of the way. Each time opposition comes, prompt

    us to face it without fear and trust in You to work things

    out. Some frustrating situations happen around us. But

    others occur within our hearts.  Please help us to see

    with You we will never lose. We praise You for being our

    tower of refuge threw this time. How grateful we are for

    the way You bring us through countless challenges and

    I join my sisters here in praying for the victims in Haiti..what an awful mess!! They shouldn't have to go through that!. I continue,also, to pray for our bc sisters.

    in Haiti, I see the sadness and also people helping

    people. God,  be with them through.  Bless all the

    caring people going over there to help them get through

    this very hard time. Be with and comfort the children

    O Lord, Our Light in this dark world, How we adore You.

    You are the Light of our salvation, illuminating our way

    and directing us to a life of peace, hope,and joy. We no

    longer fear the darkness surrounding us. We trust in You

    and focus on Your presence. You keep our hearts and

    minds in prefect peace. As we remain on Your lighted

    pathway, You make our feet sure on the treacherous

    curves. Thank You for leveling the uphill roads we are

    forced to travel, for constantly smoothing out the bumps

    and potholes. When bad news comes, We need not

    dread what lies ahead. Instead, We fully confident that

    You, Our Loving Lord, are taking care of all our concerns

    every single day. You are the holy Light shining in our

    world. You are our refuge. No amount of darkness can

    hide Your glorious light. We praise You for picking us

    up when we stumble and fall. Thank You for continually

    watching over us and caring for us, for being our defender.

    Thank You for protecting us day and night. Thank You for

    preserving our lifes and keeping us going, as we all are

    in of Your comforting and love. Be with the people in Haiti

    comfort them as they clean up after the earthquake. Be

    Praise be to our Almighty Father

    While getting a bath this morning Andi opened her eyes and just stared straight ahead.  Nothing was mentioned on the update how long they stayed open.  Baby steps..  Don't know if this really means anything but it gives continued hope of Andi coming out of the coma.  She is having surgery today to correctly set a broken arm. Thanks for your continues prayers for Andi.

    Praying for the victims of the earthquake.  God is at work in Haiti.  Many Christians will be ministering to the survivors.  They will see the hand of God helping them through God's deciples.  My prayer is that these survivors would come to know Christ through this devastating event that has happened to them.

    Debbie I hope your tests came back well, I have searched but could not find an answer on if you feel better or if your New Doc has been helpful with pain.

    Continued prayers for Andi's baby steps.

    IvoryMom - good news that your DH is on the mend.

    Prayer works - how can anyone doubt.  I know it will be evidenced in the people of Haiti as well.

    Lord, Father God, I lift up Andi, IvoryMom and her DH, Foots, Spar2 and all my BC sisters, families and friends that need your loving touch.  We know you are always there and that our sufficiency is not of ourselves but from you.  For that alone, we give thanks.

    I am going to ask a favor, will everyone please pray for healing of the bone in my leg Sunday afternoon.  Prayer is so powerful.  the ortho appt is Monday and am hoping for complete healing.  Thank you all so much.

    Please pray for my daughter Beth who had an emergency c-section yesterday and has now developed complications. She has a condition called HELLP that can be potentially life-threatenig, it involves very low platelets. The baby's name is Adara Susan, named after me!!! Thank you all of you praying ladies.

    Lord God, special intercessory prayer rising up for Beth.  Please touch her with your miraculous spirit and help her pull through this medical complication.  Also, bless this new creation, Adara Susan, and use her even at one day of age to give her mom the courage to fight.  Give Susan and the rest of the family the strength to withstand such a time as this.

    Hello everybody!  Just wondering why I never got an email when there were definitely updates here after my post!  Hmm..

    Anyway, here's my share of verses:

    ... for God's temple is holy and you are that temple.
              I Corinthians 3:17b

    Undoubtedly, when we don't feel well, we don't feel much like a temple of God.  It's hard to feel holy when pain does not go away, when sleep does not come or when our bodies no longer can do the things they have always done before.  It's hard to feel like a reflection of God when our hope is diminished, our outlook is downbeat or our dreams seem defeated. Yet, no matter how low we feel and how uncertain we are, we are reassured of this:

    • God made us and understands our every need;
    • in God's understanding, God is deeply involved in meeting those needs;
    • even though we do not always recognize how God may be at work for us, we can know God is caring for us in ways too profound to number.
    This intimate care is a reflection of God's love, a sign of our holiness in God's eyes. 

    Holy God, by creating me in your divine image you announce you want neither harm nor defeat to mark my life.  In my darkest moments with disease and despair, I need to be reminded of your love.  And I'm glad you do.  Amen.

    Praying partners...... thank you for your support.

    My surgery today was completely 'uneventful' and a blessing in every way.

    The staff here is brilliant

    and the hospital building itself is a marvel (brand new & totally designed with patient 'needs' in mind.)

    hubby is spending the night, as they have a sleeping area for him..... seriously awesome
