Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank for all the beautiful ladies who are struggling in their cancer walk - dealing with physical symptoms/illness, dealing with anger, frustration, sorrow, loneliness, dealing with many appointments, treatments. Honestly, the suffering is too much, sometimes beyond human ability and understanding. Although we want relief and healing from the troubles of cancer, what you want from us is to look up to you and trust in your goodness no matter what happens to us.
Thank you for your son, King Jesus, that he understands human suffering as demonstrated in the last hours of his life, his death on the cross. Jesus, wrap your loving and compassionate arms around us.
Thank you for your promise in Matthew 11:28-30 - Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest in your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

Please be with our sisters here who are struggling through a new diagnosis, trying to get through treatment, or working to recover
Please be with our sister who are living with Stage IV cancer as well
Help the families and friends of all cancer patients to understand that the holidays may be different for everyone, including the ones they love who are not feeling well
Help everyone to spend quality time with those they care for, or just give our sisters the space to rest and heal as they need to
This can be a lonely time for many, who might want to be doing more but cannot right now or at all
Surround us with your love and help us to focus on the hope that the birth of your son brought to this world so long ago. His love and yours are always with us during our times of struggle and change

Dear Heavenly Father,
Through your Holy Spirit, help us to see, through your perfect eyes, value in what we are experiencing, to see the blessings that come with this devastating disease. Holy Spirit enlighten us to the truth, strengthen us each day at every step in the journey because we cannot do it on our own.
Heavenly Father, I pray that the people around us will see the love of Jesus in us as we fight on boldly and courageously in our journey with cancer, that our suffering is not a waste but can bear fruit in our lives.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity yesterday to speak in humility with my breast surgeon and ask her for her forgiveness. Glory be to God that she felt the immeasurable love of Jesus flowing from me to her.
James 1:2-3 - Consider it pure joy my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds. because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
2nd Corinthians 4:17 - For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

What a gorgeous prayer, Therapygirl. The scriptures you quoted are powerful, and it shows the discernment of the Holy Word that God has gifted you with, that you may speak truth over our suffering. Giving God the Glory, no matter what, makes Him lift us up, and the crown of righteousness awaits us in Heaven.
The Holy Word says that there are treasures to be found in darkness, and when our souls are given the Fruits of the Spirit we develop when we endure hardship in this darkness, they are truly treasures.
Jesus Himself is also called the Pearl of Great Price. Pearls are developed in oysters from an irritant, so that the oyster coats the grain of sand with pearl layers. There could not have been a greater irritant than to come as scriptures prophesied at least 700 years before Jesus came as Yeshua, the Messiah, to save His own, as the Lion of the tribe of Judah, for the Jewish people first, and be utterly rejected.
Cancer is our irritant, and we who stand in faith are treasures to God.
It is written that the seed of Abraham will bless all nations, and Jesus' geneology in Luke 3:23-38 lists Jesus as the son of Abraham and the son of King David, who reigned from the tribe of Judah. Jesus is the seed, and is the blessing for all people, of all nations.
May the Living Word of God be seeds of faith planted into your hearts, growing deep roots, nourished in the love of God.
Be strong and courageous, knowing Jesus has already overcome the world.
