For the Mountain and from the Mountain *
Paths. They are tough.
And while we're limited by our inability to anticipate the future, we are never limited in our ability to commune with the One who holds it.
There is such delight in paths.
A path is eternal. Immutable. Not bound by time or limited by today.
Forever a path. It leads us to the rock upon which we can freely build our foundation...
and set our own path.Strange, wild, and unpredictable as it may be.

Do you see her?
While your feet glide along the mountain path look up.
Look forward and to the sides and even behind.
She is there.
As you continue your journey and you feel the frailest of wisps of air touch your cheek
that is your angel letting you know she is always with you.
The clouds will let you watch her dance if you take your time.

What a beauty. Mount Washington Hotel, one of these days I'm going to spend a weekend there.

Deb, it looks like it would be mighty comfortable and a fun weekend.
Sahalie, I have the windows open in the whole house, it is so refreshing and I always think of angle wings beating giving me a cool breeze. Do you ever just watch the clouds make shapes. I love to watch for angel shapes or animals. One time I saw a dinasaur. God made such a beautiful world and we should admire it, take care of it, and enjoy it.
Mary-Lou, you avatar cracks me up but I love it. So glad to see a post from you. Rest just as long as you need to.

We had a pet owl that sit on the back of the wood box and lived in our living room when I was growing up. Mom would take him outside and let him go and he would come back to the porch and want back in the house on the woodbox.
this shot is amazing.

I am going to go try to make an amber or orange necklace. Everyone have a great night.
Sweet dreams and answered prayers.

I am devasated beyond words, have babied my ducks, took care of their every need. Got warm enough to move them to the small cage for the day, it is covered with a little a frame house at the end. The dog pulled the chicken wire out somehow and killed them. Even DH is shedding some tears. We had gotten so attached to them. It breaks my heart. They were part of our family. I guess I just wasn't meant to have ducks no matter how much I love them. Can hardly see to type for the tears.

Wow Valerie - that is beautiful - so calm and so peaceful. You want to take a walk?
Sahalie - Why did you delete all of your messages?
The prettiest site I've ever beheld is on a field trip in Germany. We went into this old castle and up to the top floor - through the round cut out was the most breathtaking view of the surrounding forests (in fall of course).

Sierra. Aren't the hens and chickens so much fun.
Succulents are drought resistant and so therefore perfect for California.
Poppies too.
On Earth Day one of the plants the kids and I bought is Sedum Makinoi a tiny light green succulent. It's a good ground cover and great in containers as well.
It's the one in the lower left side of the picture.

Sahalie, that pot is so pretty with the 3 plants in it. I want some hen and chicks, I can't have anymore ducks unless I build a cage on a concrete foundation. Not only did he pull the chicken wire loose he dug underneath the fencing. So no more until I can think of something safe.
knccraw423, welcome to the mountain. Who is Valerie? Would love to see Germany from the top of a castle. Would love to explore an old castle. As a kid I would explore east central college buildings, I would have a piano recital and then run free and everything was just so huge and wonderous when you a kid, climbing 4 and 5 flights of stairs. So much fun.
Church was wonderful this morning. The music worship team is all I got to hear today because it was my turn to work the toddler room but music was really powerful today and the kids so cute and sweet.
In the beginning some of the posts were deleted due to what I call some spammers breaking in, it was all resolved pretty fast. It is a wonderful peaceful thread now. Full of peace, grace, love, and kindness.
Think I will take a walk too and find some flowers to smell.
these are all so beautiful in their own way.

SPAR. I love the line of pictures you have shared above on the Mountain.
Each one so pretty.
SIERRA. Thank you from me too for the links.
I have to ask you. * Did you get to slide down the bannister?
Old houses speak such a magical language especially the squeeky stairs if
one if trying to sneak in when getting home late. : )
Mountain Home. Peace.
