Kay, I've got a thing for Damon Salvator as well, though I try to keep it in check.  Just looked up the actor - born in 1978 - so that makes us both a little cougarish at least with our TV preferences.  When is that show coming back on, darn it?  I need my summer fun!  The Gates just isn't cutting it.  I read that the creators of Vampire Diaries were surprised that so many "mature" women were watching the show which they had aimed at the teen/young adult set.

TCK - great picture.  Wow, 8 yrs younger?  My DH is 3 yrs older.  I do like that he has to enter each new decade before I do and tease him mercilessly.

well who WOULDN'T wanna see Damon Salvators smouldering eyes, and sexy bod!! lol

1978?mmmm.....just about right! =D Ian Somerholder or something isn't he?

i prefer vamp diaries to True Blood if i'm honest, though my hub prefers True Blood. My True Blood hottie would be Eric.Dont normally go for blondes, but Bill doesn't do it for me i'm afraid.Tho Jason Stackhouse aint bad either ;-)

Hmmm.  I'm 4 years older than my DH.  What is the age difference officially to be a cougar?  And at what age do you become a cougar?  I believe at one time I was called a cradle robber.

I love the bra post site, however, I prefer to wear just the plain ones so I have nothing pretty to post.  No, I don't wear granny bras but with no lace, ribbon whatever.  It seems I wear a lot of knit and it's better to have a smooth look with that.   I could be a brahalic tho but my wallet won't let me.  :(

Deborah:  Panther just sounds so much nicer then cougar!  Cougar makes me think of Ann bancroft (?is that her name-the graduate??) and predatory and panther makes me think still hot at 60 and going strong!!  If I look as good as you do when I hit 60 I will be thrilled.  BTW my DH looks my age or older most of the time LOL!  Being that I am part vampire I think he's keeping me young LOL!

Kate:  So glad you are back to your old self!  We will always be here for you, no matter what.

Kay: You have alot of crushes for a married woman LOL!

firni:  I though cradle robber only referenced older men going for under age girls!!!

MBJ  you are probably right about the cradle robber thing.  Up in WI where I'm from, people don't go much by the ACTUAL meaning of things.  If it kind of fits, they go for it.

OK, I will take some bra pictures Friday (my day off and DH should be working) and post them.  I have a couple of those wonderful stretchy Warner bras like Baby Doll posted and they are great. Those are what PS insisted I live in for a month or so after my revision.

I just had the last layer of color for my tats done last Friday.  I may just post a beginning to end saga.  I wanted to wait until this last tattoo session was healed.  Just have to sort out all the pics.  I swear, never in my life did I think I'd ever take a picture of my boobies, much less hundreds of them.  And then post them on the internet.  (No, I won't post them all.)

I'm going for a DEXA scan next Friday.  Have any of you had one?

Hi, "prophy wife" here...I am older than my guy too, but 6 months.  I remind him all the time.

Deborah, Lilah, MJB, everyone who is older than their guys....you are all cougars and they are lucky boys indeed :)

I had a DEXA....I was so scared, but it's nothing.  You just lie on the big old table, zap, like a dentists xray, basically and you are done.

Then your onc calls you and nags you to go get biophosphates when you are only borderline.

Anyone see the SNL Buniva ad?  Hilarious.  Talks about needing take bone drugs because "if you dont'....." threats from drs.  I've had those, myself.

    love to all

"Prophy" wife/aka "the fiat" per my husband as in "looks flashy but is always in the shop"....

Laura -  I don't post much here but do read a lot and get a lot of insight from all you wonderful ladies. Thank you for that. Some of you ladies are pretty funny. I find myself smiling as I am reading and sometimes I laugh out loud. I've got to say you're a pretty witty group.  I am not done in the reconstruction process yet. I am still waiting for nips. I have to wait until August to go back to PS and then we will discuss. I am still on the fence whether to go the surgical route or just do the 3D tats.

I also want to thank you for putting Deborah's surprise together. The gifts were great choices. Job well done!

Annie you are such a riot!  And thanks re: the short hair... I am beginning my scruffy stage now... but determined to grow it a bit.  When I had my buzz cut last year my hair dresser first cut my hair to about 3 - 4 inches and it looked very cute!  I have to say with the current heat wave I don't miss my hair!  It looks like a major drought out there.  My grass is white.  The trees are even starting to wilt a little.  Need rain in NJ!

Firni -- yay on pics!  Can't wait to see bras and your journey.  I agree -- never dreamed I'd take any let alone THIS many pictures of my naked boobs!

While everyone is sweltering in other parts of the U.S., here on the coast in Southern California we are freezing!  I walk around in levis and long-sleeved tees all day and we are still wearing jackets on walks around here!  We are anxious for summer to begin.

Firni:  The bras I love best - my everyday bras - are industrial strength and not all that "purdy" either!  I like the "smooth" look under clothing also.  They are quality bras - Natori, Chantelle, Anita - but I have resorted to comfort and appearance under clothing for the most part.  I like "tee shirt" bras best. But we cannot WAIT for your photos.  "Layers of color"....how are they doing your tattoos? Make sure you describe this on the pictures forum....

Laura- I love your message to the lurkers!  What a great idea to encourage them to post as well.  Maybe we should come up with a prettier name for them, though, to coax them out? Lurkers sound like big burly men stalking poor defenseless chicks!  LOL!  Any suggestions, ladies?

Fimi- I used to be the most modest person in the world before BC.  Now I sometimes think more people have seen my boobs than a Playboy centerfold!

Deborah- Levis and long sleeved tees AND jackets?!?  Sigh...........I won't see that here in Arizona until, oh, say November.  This is the time of year I ask myself why I live here.  I think it's going to be 115 today or something like that.  It's like living on the sun! Cool

We had 102 yesterday in the NY area, Kate.  My lawn is turning white (brown soon I fear) -- I didn't really realize we were so drought-ridden... am wondering if it's too late to water.  I usually never have to water because I live on a lake and it's always wet here (or so it seems); til now!

Ninjas (instead of lurkers?) or Cloaked Ones? :)

I got five years on my hubby..he was actually 19 when we met...

Well..I went in yesterday and swapped out the TE. I got a phone call at 6:30 am from the hospital asking if I could come in ASAP. (I was scheduled for 10:30)..I told the nurse I was waiting on a call from my PS regarding the surgery. I hang up and 2 min. later my PS calls..he's laughing, giggling..says " Good Morning Dear..what's the matter?"  I tell him I am questioning the need for this procedure. He gives me his reasons, tells me how he wants me to look, reminds me that we have a awesome relationship and that he was up half the night researching my case to understand where my fear was coming from. I felt assured that he felt this was the best option for me and my final outcome.

The procedure was simple. I woke up in very little pain. The incision was covered in a nice waterproof bandage and other than I can feel where he stretched out that pocket a bit. It looks and feels good. It looks better now than the prior one. He put in another low height mentor that will go to 600cc. I told him what Deborah told me about the tall height. Anyway...I think it looks better and I am willing to wait a little longer for some squishy's...He asked me where I get all my info from..I said Breastcancer.org...the forums..where thousands of woman talk about this very subject. He said he's have to check it outTongue out

Hope everyone is feeling fine today (((((HUGS))))))

Well Twirl -- sounds like it went well!  Maybe he just put in one that was too small to begin with?  Who knows?  I still think it's odd that he replaced it... but as long as you are comfortable with how things are going and feel you are in good hands, that is what matters.

twirlandcurl- Glad your procedure went well!  And congratulations on finding one of the few PS who is open to the idea that this site may actually help women!  (Not to mention staying up half the night researching!)  Mine just scrunches up her face, and shakes her head, whenever I bring up bc.org!

my PS is a man...a very crazy Mexican man who also specializes in hand surgery

    what a combo

I don't know why he wanted to exchange me out..my prior TE was the smallest one available and quite frankly looked like a pool ball sticking off my chest. I don't know if I agree with this (Too late now..lol) but I trust him and really feel like he cares about me..so I went for it.

I am enjoying my vicoden haze today....Cool

I printed out all of the responses to my pics on TimTam's site and gave them to my PS. He was very humbled and thanked me for sharing. He thinks that this site and pic site is a great resource for people needing info about surgery and said that it is very kind of us to share everything, including the pictures. He was unaware that this site existed until I brought it up. We do a great service, not just between ourselves, but to those who are new and those afraid to post anything.

Nancy- What a great idea printing out your postings!  And you're right this site is a great service!  There have been many things I have learned on here that have made the whole BC experience feel less overwhelming!  I think this site is the greatest example of "pay it forward" than anything else I've ever seen.

When I lift my 2 year old little boy on the potty it never fails his head hits my TE's.  He rubs his head and says  ow your boobies hurt my head!  Ok.....we now know they are hard as bricks if a 2 year old notices! LOL
