    Tracey--

Just the word "soft" brings a smile to my face bigger than I've had in awhile.  I can't wait to be soft again.  Heal well.

    psalmist,

I am sorry for your daughter's troubles.  I am concerned that you are not putting yourself as a priority, though.  You were diagnosed not that long ago and have been through alot.  Please, carve time out of each day to take care of you!   I wish all of you the best.  Stay healthy!

Tracey, Glad you are doing well! Rest up and we'll catch you later!

I got my drains removed today, and dressings, too, and finally got a clear look at my new girlz. I really like them? And they're so soft!

Only one problem is that I have a couple of iffy spots where the skin is redder than it should be, so if it doesn't clear up by tomorrow, I may have to be admitted for two days of IV antibiotics. Ugh. But it's the safest thing to do, since the risk of infection is elevated just after exchange.

Hi Everyone!  Just logged on to crab a little, then I read psalmist's problems with her family so I don't feel i should.  Psalmist, Dianne is right, you need to take care of yourself too!  You need to stay healthy for your children as well as yourself.  Prayers are flying your way.!  TRACEY!!  YEA!!  I am sooo happy for you!  Enjoy your soft foobs!  So, Now I have to complain{just a little} I drove 2 hours to my PS today to have my FINAL tattooing done.  I was sooooooo excited!  Lately. I noticed my nipple looking a little scabby  and red around the incision site, My PS took one look at that and said NO Tattooing today!  It looks like my nipple is dying and infected.  So, he sends me home with an oral antibiotic and a strong topical antibiotic.  He want to see me in 2 weeks and then we'll see how long before he can tatoo. Maybe 1 month.  Also, He said not to worry , if nipple falls off , he'll just redo it again.  He made the nipple extra BIG to allow for shrinkage, and he should beable to reconstruct what is left.  My left nipple also has dead skin, but not quite as bad as the right one. Anyone else have a similar situation?  I just so wanted to be done!Cry.  Oh Well, That's life!!!  Hope all goes well with girls having their exchanges soon.  Gentle hugs to all, Jeanie

My exchange is moving up to April 9th now.... from the 23rd.  I have a small open area from my incision.   Threw me a curve as I had a vacation planned and now need to tell work of the change.  BUT I should be happy to have it over sooner rather than later.  I am tired of these rocks on my chest.

Cristl...well, at least you will be getting your implants sooner!  That is a good thing!

I sent you an email today...not sure if you got it!  I'll PM you the information.

Tracey - You are real trooper letting us know how you were doing already!  Been thinking about you lots and hoping all was well, so it was great to get home from work and find that you've already been here for 3 hours!!!  Pamper yourself and enjoy those drugs while you can!

Jeanie - That is really crappy news!  We wait so long for these little milestones that it just seems nasty to have them snatched away from us. Hang in there and I'll send prayers for healing nips!!

Janet - Wahoooo!!!! No drains...time to celebrate those nasty creatures' demise!!   Being admitted back to the hospital would really suck but it would be the fastest way to clear up the infection that is for sure...and they cook for you there!

psalmist- Don't let your children take advantage of you. My sister-in-law would like to dominate all of my mom and dads time and it makes me mad. Help them but don't let them take all your freedom from you.

jeansbeans- I am so sorry you are having a big setback. Keep optimistic and make sure they put you on antibiotics soon and don't wait too long.

Just a quick catch up since I've been away for five days.

Psalmist - We will miss you. Please try to find some time to stop by and visit w/ us when you can! I am also on a lot less these days. My business has really picked up and I need to focus on it. I will be thinking of you and your family. I have a grown daughter that has some problems, so I know what it is like to have to continue to care for my grown children. Though I do not have four grandchildren as well. Take care and know that we care!

Tracey - I am sorry that you are in pain, but I am pleased that your surgery is behind you!

Jeanie - You have a reason to crab. I would crab too! This whole process takes long enough w/o having to redo some steps. Take care and I hope all gets resolved soon!

Surgery friends - best wishes this week!

Take care my friends! - Jean

    Hello ladies!

Just a quick ctch up for me, also....

Psalmist: my prayers are with you and your family at this time.  Please take care of you also, OK?

Tracey!!!!!!!!!!!!! A big WAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO to your new girls!!! It won't be long before you are feeling AOK.  Just remember not to lift anything for however long your PS told you!  Soft is great!

Jeanie: I am sorry:  some of the recon stuff, I think they don't offer upfront, about all the delays, revisions, etc.  But you want these girls to last for awhile for you, so it's good to take care of any little annoying details/infections now, so you'll be happy later. :) ((((((((((((((((((((((((( )))))))))))))))))0

Laura, you sound like you are feeling well if you are putting grandbabies to bed...seems funny to think of you as a grandma, you look like such a kid.  Take care of you, honey, don't give it all away.

Everybody else, love and good thoughts.....

Jeanie, I am sorry you are struggling.

Janet, GREAT you have the drains out.. eeekkkk I hated those... :):)

How ya doing Yvonne and all other ladies??? Hoping your world is kind today!!!

Laura - you crack me up with your little buggers comment!  I'm working away today and thought I'd check in on my lunch hour.  9 more to go!!!  That is great!!  I am surprised that you sound better now than you did earlier...my mom progressively felt worse as time went on.  You always have to be different don't you!! ROFLOL!!!!!

I'm  p.o'd today....the last spot on my incision looked like it was healed up and now a spot beside it opened up last night!!! GRRRRRRR.....I'm getting worried that the skin is compromised and will never heal.  I have an appointment with my PS tomorrow so I'll see what he says.  I'm with you Jeanie - feeling like for every step forward and I'm going one back...not really back..change that to just stepping in the same place again and again and again and again.....I am lucky that my problems are small, I am lucky that my problems are small...that is my mantra!!

    How you doing Tracey?

Welcome back Jean!  I'm so glad that your business is gaining momentum...one less BIG thing to worry about!!!

Well, I was feeling pretty good about things, healing well from revision surgery -- except I have been having this annoying neck pain.  However, I was just called by my nephew, that my Dad is not doing well and is close to death.  Now I am all stressed out again.  I am feeling selfish, but I do not want to deal with this now.  I was planning to go to the Virgin Islands this weekend (if OK with PS)-- but now it looks like I will need to delay my trip.

Robin--So sorry to hear about your Dad.  Deep breaths! Your Dad would not want you to be all stressed out. Just do the best you can--one moment at a time.  The Virgin Islands aren't going anywhere. They'll be waiting for you.

Yvonne---that is just not right!  I will be sending lots of healing energy your way to encourage that skin of yours into overtime healing mode---at Warp Nine Speed!!!

Best of luck to BKokie and Playmysti on Friday. May you enjoy that feeling of softness the minute you wake up.  I'll be negotiating implant size Friday with my PS for my revision, and figuring out where the fat graft is going to come from.

Yvonne......I am sorry for your troubles.....as you know I have some major healing problems myself........I will keep my fingers crossed that all goes well with the PS tomorrow........do you leak any fluid when these spots open up?

Robin.....also very sorry to hear about your dad.

Tracey.....you OK?.......hope you are getting lots of rest today.

Jeans.......sorry for your setback......it sucks when things get delayed.

    Laura......woo hoo on 9 more!

As for me........met my PS at the hospital today in between her cases........she had a look.......and agrees that there is definitely no redness......can't understand what's with all this seroma fluid.........she gave me some really strong stitches and also a small fill to try and fill up any void space so no fluid will form.........back on antibiotics as a precaution......she says skin is looking very health.......so I will keep my fingers crossed that this seroma dries up.....and this damn hole closes up.

Good luck to Bkokie and Playmysti Friday.....fast healing and soft boobies!

Marilyn........good luck with your negotiations........and let me be the first to offer up some fat if you need a doner....lol.........sorry.......damn percocets........lol

Jean.....glad to hear your business is doing so well......don't forget about us!

Psalmist........missing you......and praying that all goes well for you and your family!

Cheers to all the rest of you lovely ladies.......sorry for the super long post.......but wanted you all to know that I am thinking of you!

Wow, so much to catch up on.  I've been away for about a week.  This thing is kind of like a soap opera,  you miss a few days and you have to hit rewind and get all the latest updates.

Psalmist - If you get the chance to check back, know that I am thinking about you and your family.  Your calming influence will be a great help to your daughter and her children.

Tracey - Congratulations on the new soft foobs!!  You are one person on here that I know hated her TE's as bad as I do!!  15 more days for me, but who's counting???  So did your PS send you home all wrapped up, or do you have a surgical bra??  I'm afraid mine is going to send me home with nothing and after all the comments on here, I definitely think it's a good idea to limit the girls' movement!!  Enjoy the softness!!

Yvonne - I enjoy your entries so much.  Sorry you are going through another little setback.  Don't you just want to take a remote and fast forward through all this!!

Firstmate - Sorry to hear about your dad.  That is never easy.  I'll be thinking of you!!

Jean - So glad to hear about the business pickup.  That has to be a huge relief.  I'm not sure I ever caught what you do.

Laura - You and my good friend are on the same course!!  She just has 8 rads left!!!  So awesome!!  I know it probably doesn't seem like it to you, but it seems like just yesterday when you were posting about making the big rad decision and here you are, almost done!!

Good luck to the Friday surgeries!!

And lastly, I have some exciting news.  My oldest daughter just got engaged this weekend and is getting married the end of August.  It will be a fun and busy summer at our house!!

Laura - 9 to go. Yahoo!!!!!!

Yvonne- I cannot believe you have to deal w/ all this even more! You have had more than your share of issues w/ the healing!

Robin - I am so very sorry about your father! Sometimes it seems like life deals out too much at one time! I am thinking of you!

Jax - You have also had more than your share. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you!

qutpy - I will be more than happy to add you to our exchange list. Welcome!

Sue  - A wedding?? Congratulations! I am so excited for you!

Cathee - A new grandson. How absolutely wonderful. I love good news!

BTW: For those that asked, I am a healthcare reimbursement consultant. I work w/ hospitals to help make sure they bill Medicare and Medicaid correctly. I was part owner of my last firm, but my partner and I had a major parting of the ways. And he dissolved our partnership the day before my Mx. So, I have started a new small firm during my healing. And business is coming in. Some of my clients are being very faithful! And I love them for it! Thanks for asking.
