Okay. I am downloading the movie now. The hydro went out so I had to start again.

althea, I just watched the Burzynsky film, and found it absolutely mind boggling. I think we've all heard stories of government conspiracies to gain valuable parcels of land, for example, but this is so much worse than that, it's almost incomprehensible. It's unimaginable what they've put him through. Quite sickening, really. Thanks for sharing it. Deanna0

What's up with the website with the Burzynsky film? It's so slow and keeps locking up my computer.

JoanDavies, it must be very busy, try through the Mercola site

The Burzynski movie has gone viral. Now it's bopping all over Facebook. Maybe so many people are hitting it at once that the site can't accomodate the demand?

I couldn't down load it either. Someone suggested I turn off my computer and download it through Dr. Mecola. I did and it worked. I also posted it on facebook, but if you hit the like button it automatically goes to your facebook. I hope everyone watches this film. It's about time people wake up and see the truth.

Just finished watching it. I will be doing a lot of thinking tonight. I am sad and angry. My daughter died of cancer at the age of 16 in 1997. Very sad. Good night girls.

Pip: I am so saddened to hear this! Although I don't have any children I have lost so many friends to this and other cancers. So sorry if this was upsetting to you and I am so sorry for your loss. That is a very young age to lose the battle to cancer. Big hugs!
I couldn't open it either, so I will try it through the Mercola site.

I couldn't open it on the Mercola site or anywhere else. Some people say it has gone viral and all sites are overloaded. I was able to watch the first 36 of 108 minutes on youtube clearly and immediately. I look forward to seeing the rest of the movie.

I've been trying for hours to buy two copies but it always hangs up then I have to start again. I did download a copy but want to legitimately pay for copies so I can lend one copy to friends.
I don't like to keep entering my bank details then it hangs up and I can't buy from Amazon for various reasons.

I do keep an alkaline diet....but watching this ulcerated my stomach.
Not the first time the FDA made me reach for a Quick-Eze!

;( Pip
I am so sorry for your loss, It's heartbreaking to hear that. And now you yourself are dealing with this wicked disease, it's just wrong.
I have lost my two best friends to cancer...43 & 44........in no way compares to your loss but to watch the people you love suffer...there is nothing worse. It changes you in ways you just can't explain verbally. My aunt passed from BC too at age 30 leaving to very young children. I was there for my friends & family until the end. It meant so much to me to be able accompany them through their journey. After experiencing all of that, I decided I wanted to help other families as well. I started working in hospice. It changed my life forever. So many lessons.
When I was diagnosed myself, I thought " of course...I get it" time for me to put my money where my mouth is. Fate or coincidence with all this cancer around me, who really knows?
But when I read about doctors like Burzynski or Dr. James Forsythe in N.V. That for 20 years have been successfully treating cancer, it makes me feel like I am supposed to do something! Yell at the top of my lungs to get people to listen! If there is a chance been just a chance that these pioneering doctors can sustain and treat stage 4 cancers for 15 to 20 years...we have to do something to help.
I am rambling a little I know but I read about Stan Burzynski last Jan. Shortly after my DX. I've tried to talk about him & his treatments within my cancer community, it's difficult to say the least.
I am so grateful that his medicine has come up on this thread.
Looking forward to more dialog about him.
Good night Pip...;)0 -
Pip, my little sister, I am so deeply deeply sorry. It is so against nature to lose a child, as a mom, I can feel your undescribable pain. Your sweet daughter is an angel now and I am convinced that she is with you every moment of every day.

MBJ, Corian and Luan, thank you for the kind words. I have spent last night and this morning doing research. At first I was wondering if the trial drug that Cassie was on was an antigeoplaton. However, when I looked up her records I found that it was not. It was a drug that did not have the normal side effects but I could find absolutely NO record of it on the internet. So I guess it didn't go anywhere.
Luan, I put in my request to hear more about Dr Burzynski from Dr Oz. I would hope that he would devote an entire show to it as opposed to a 10 minute segment like he often does. I also requested that he leave SS out of it to give it more credibility.
I hope those of you who are having trouble downloading the movie will be able to watch it. It really is worth it.

Thanks, Luan. I've just sent those links along to several friends who had attempted to watch it a few days ago, but ran into technical issues, I guess due to demand overload. I'm glad it's still available on-line.
Pip, I, too, was very touched by your story, and wanted to tell you how very sorry I am.
It's just so wrong for our government or any government to be holding up promising cancer research for the sake of $$$$$, but I've heard this before from a slightly different angle -- that only those who are already published and well-respected in the medical community can get funding and/or published, and so a lot of promising research goes unnoticed or ignored. And no doubt this will only be worse with govenment funding cuts.
I don't know how we can change this, but it breaks my heart. Deanna

Deanna, I don't know if it's just my computer or kinda of a scam from that video place, but cannot get beyond 41 minutes into the movie. Let me know if you're successful ((0

The Health Freedom Expo was amazing. Too much to say to post here. I will be blogging about it on my website as soon as I come up for air. Those of you who are members, will get an email blast. Also, put us on your facebook page. I met so many incredible health freedom fighters, can't wait to write about it.
SAVE THIS DATE: Oct 21-23, I almost have my Think Beyond the Pink event finalized so I can promote it. The venue is all set and I met with the chef today who is going to make all the food according to the guildelines we follow for bc prevention. He is so excited about doing this for us! I have a couple of well known docs who willl be speaking, but I do not want to mention names as yet. The event will be as inexpensive as I can make it and all the profits will go toward our Riverwalk foundation and for young adults with autism. I will post details on my website as soon as I finalyze things. The rooms will be $75/night, which you can share. The weekend events which will include a dinner, a lunch, a tshirt, Walk for the Health of It fundriaiser and all doctor seminars will be around $100. It is going to be a really great time, and I will be happy to do tours of Chicago with any of you who want to stick around an extra day. Hope to see some of you there!

Any thoughts on Black Cohosh w/ TX ?
0 -
I to received a strange look when asked about a specific diet for my pyeomorphic lobular cancer and was told we don't address that here. But was also told without looking me in the eye that Chemo & radiation would only give me about a 30 % chance of working and if the cancer comes back I would have a short life expectancy. I have started this week no sugar only veggies and Wild salmon, nuts and water. Still looking for other things to eat. Feeling kind of empty inside on the emotional side and wonder what the heck am I to do now.

Shannon, here are a couple of articles I just pulled up for you on Black Cohosh. Opinions, as you may have already read, seem to be mixed:
