Laura, tell Michele that Noni checked in today and I see that she needs special prayer. Sorry all my dear ladies, but I so seldom come here as it was just by accident,now over 7 years ago my daughter was diagnosed and I happened to come on the boards to question some of her treatments. If you noticed I was diagnosed back in 1987, so what does that make me, I don't even count anymore. Michele MMM5 was special to me, as so many of you were. PRAYER IS SO POWERFUL and JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY. WITHOUT HIM WE ARE DEFEATED. I SAY EVERYDAY PUT ON THE ARMOUR OF GOD, HIS WORD, THE SACRAMENTS AND PICK UP HIS NAME THAT IS ABOVE ALL NAMES AND DEFEAT THE DEVIL...GET NEGATIVE THOUGHTS OUT OF YOUR MINDS, JESUS DID NOT GIVE US A SPIRIT OF FEAR BUT THAT OF A SOUND MIND..PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME

Noni, I am new here. My mom is 71 with stage iv cancer and came to check treatments for her. Glad I ventured onto this thread. God bless you and your daughter. What a wonderful spirit you have. Please pray for my mom, Noreen. Likewise, Noni will be in my prayers asking the Blessed Mother for her prayers and intervention. Namaste.

Good evening sisters! It has been a busy, busy stressful 2 weeks at work, but things are calming down now.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty well sick of hot, sticky, humid weather!! I don't like winter either, but would love to be in actual autumn right now! :-) Our weatherman said that we only had one full sunny day in September. That's pretty amazing.

oh Theresa I think we had 110 degrees in September....and no rain.....the earth is parched, but storms are brewing, hopefully they come this way.

Tomorrow I see my Onc re: the brain tumor and plan . It's kind of taken over my thinking at this point. Not down, just how when there is no one in my network that is qualifies in the newer approaches. I know this b/c of research, tomorrow will tell if my onc knows this. Kind of scary that my plan that owns 3 hospitals and all kinds of ancillary facilities hasn't gotten past the 1990's in treatment approach. AND basically the treatment approaches of the 90's were 20-30 -40 years old. So it's going to be an up hill battle.

Good Morning Sweet Sisters,
Thank you all for your prayers for my son, Martin, who was injured when he was mugged last week. He is recovering fairly well and continues to get a little better every day. He is back at work - part time - and seems to be doing better than I would have expected. The orthopedic doc believes his wrist will heal without leaving lasting damage or loss of use. For that, we remain most grateful.
Please continue to remember him in your intentions. Love to all!

Sandy----------so happy things are looking better for Martin. Please, please, please get him PTSD help. I cannot stress this enough. Being attacked takes a toll. I grew up in Detroit during it's worst times. I fought back each time even though it was one on one, and then several on one. But your son didn't have a chance, it was three against one, the three had intentions of serious harm. PTSD which,actually. everyone on this board is going through whether or not they like to admit it, is awful, the toll it takes on mind/ body/ and soul. He is too young to understand the implications/ complications it can have on his life, unless intervention is done early. Do the Mom "I need you to do this for me statement". Also, may be suggest a marshall art. Not that he would become expert---It would be away to work off his anger at the attackers, but don't tell him that or may be it would be a good thing to tell him that---hard thing to know--------follow your instincts when listening to him.

TO ALL----YUP my research was right and my ONCS---reaction was as expected , I get to jump from doc to doc to doc and possibly surgery or radiation. Little Bean is going to be a focus point for the next few months. Just when I was ready to get back into life. My phrase at one point was "Seriously seeking normal". Well normal has been reset to a different point. Thanks for everyones prayers , keep them coming.0

Dearest Sweetest Ladies-
You are the most Blessed Group ever! I have been away just trying to keep things together. Working a lot to try and make up for lost income from Husband. He is still without work, but really doing much better in terms of his outlook (your prayers were heard)! We have just been living day to day trying to make it all work and not lose our home etc, we have bled through much of savings (thanks be to God that we had some) There is a light at the end of the tunnel and I am feeling better (your prayers were answered).
I had one month of testing ..my ONC makes us Her2 gals do a lot of testing at 3 years.
I had a uterine biopsy (negative), and every scan (negative) and a colonoscopy (negative)
Ladies it was torture, it took me back to when I was first dxed all the prep and waiting for test results. It was truly unbearable happening at the same time as all of our serious financial woes.
However again prayers were answered and all is negative and i just have one more scan (bone scan) and will be done until year 5.
I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for praying for me and my family, we really really needed it. (your prayers were so well received, I just could not take the time to reply the way I really needed to as I was so moved, cried everytime I tried) God is Good!
NONIJ I was so happy to see you on the thread, God works in very mysterious ways, doesnt he?
I am going to spend the next week praying for each of your individual needs, one person per day.
Starting with SAS and her health issues, Sheila is this a benign tumor? I am starting prayers for you today.
Laura, thanks so much for trying to reach me back and praying ....you are just a LOVE. I sincerely hope the trip was a huge success!
PS Mother's Grace is doing great, and we hope to offer a grant to a stage V woman from these boards in December. (will fill you in soon)
