Thanks everyone, just letting go of it helped, instead of keeping it bottlenecked. Bless us all Namaste

Maria---so sorry about your Mom,
It's Friday---prayful weekend for all, May those that have to go through the storm on the northeast corridor, come through unscathed Amen

Please, if anyone hasn't heard of the Frankenstorm that is going to hit the northeast corridor, watch your weather. This is going to be very serious. Alert any that you think may not know. If you are in a flood zone area prepare to evacuate asap. at the direction of your Emergency Management Commanders. You may want to get out of area even if you are not told to evacuate, if so do it soon. You don't want to be trapped on highways the way people were with Katrina b/c they waited too long. Storm at latest viewing is to affect as far west as Ohio, but the brunt will be more coastal and into New Jersey
If evacuating take enough canned food that doesn't need to be cooked and can be eaten from a can. Utensils and CAN OPENER. Water for at least three days. Boots , winter clothing, Underwear for 1-2 weeks and clothing for a week, blankets, important papers, important pictures. Can use laudry baskets to pack stuff into--easy to carry and stack in vehicle, easy to retrieve stuff b/c it's visible through the sides. Take toilet paper. Flashlights and batteries. Tap lights. Garbage bags, Cash and credit cards, insurance info for vehichle and house. Cell phones and chargers. Phone and address book. Notify someone you are evacuating and where you intend to go. Count the kids and animals at every stop.
There likely is allot of activity with cleaning out grocery/hardware stores already for those that are going to "ride" it out. But if you are evacuating pack what you can and get moving, the farther from the storm path the easier it will be to buy stuff.
A piece of property isn't worth your life. This storm is being compared to the Perfect Storm of 1991.
Anyone interested on thoughts re Storm for those riding it out. I've put done some suggestions in a response to granny on Bonfires. Rather than figuring out where I posted what I'm just going to keep adding to that if more thoughts come.--Sorry, used to do disaster stuff---being OCD as usual

Hello everyone - just finally catching up after moving from Phoenix to Dallas on Tues/Wed. I did an 18 hour straight drive with my cats, LOL. I just today at 430pm got internet and TV. I couldn't access this site on my iphone which is the only thing I have 3G on. So I'm madly catching up on everything.
Know you are all in my prayers nightly (I pray the rosary and my 3rd intention is always to St Peregrine and St Rita and I ask them to pray with me for all of you on here) - and glad Frank is around somewhere as I really want to know he's ok.
Prayers and good thoughts to you all....Cheri

Helllo sisters
It is some time since I have posted. I have been catching up on the posts. First thank you for the novena that you said and mentioned me in it. Thak you for all tha prayers that you have said for me and my apologies if I caused you concern. My reasons for not having posted in a while are very simple.
I used to post from my computer in my office usually as I was eating my lunch. Well you might remember that I was on Herceptin but at the end of April a CT Scan showed that it had stopped working so my Onc put me on a course of chemo. I was still going into my office.
Well the SEs started to build up and the fatigue was getting me so my GP said that he was making the decision and signed me off work. So I have been out of the office for weeks now. At home my PC is vintage. It's up there with Model T Fords and Ming vases ! !It takes an age to log on to the internet on it. Since last Decemebr I have an ipad and use it for the internet. However for some reason there are some sites that I just can not log into. Some sites and Breastcancer.org is one of them and I can log on but can not log into and thus can not post. So today I decided that no matter how long it takes I was going to just have patience and sit until my PC eventually let me into the website. So again my apologies but the simple reason that I have not been on are technological rather than health.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, is the "2nd" Wednesday and i go to the clinic to give blood samples and see the Onc. Subject to satisfactory blood results I get my IV infusions on Friday and have a chemo bottle attached to my PICC line over the weekend. This is #12 out of 12. and have a CT Scan scheduled for the 22 November to see how sucessful the treatment has been.
As I said fatigue and mouth ulcers were the main SEs. I am fairly well on top of the mouth ulcers though at one stage they got very bad and I had trouble eating. I had to eat "sloopy" caseroles and the like. There is one sad thing. Vanity is one of my sins ! ! Look at my pic. Well my lovely full head of curlyish hair is almost gone.I'm almost bald and when I leave the house I always wear a cap. However I'm sure some of you have had the same problem so hopefully when the chemo starts to work its way out of my body it will grow back.
I have lots more to tell and I will just be patient and use my steam driven PC (LOL) to log on again. Once again sorry if I caused concern.
take care and thanks for your prayers.
Frank

Frank, so wonderful to hear from you. We have all been wondering and praying for you. Glad you're doing okay and that you are nearing the end of chemo. Will contine to pray for good results from your upcoming scan. It's odd that you can't get on this site on your iPad. I'm typing this on my iPad and haven't had any difficulties.
Thank you Jesus for good news from our brother Frank.

Frank---Yay--so, happy technical problems LOL and not physical. Most of us have been there with the hair thing. Empathy, my dear. Namaste

Frank, it is good to hear that it is technical difficulties, not infirmity that has kept you away.

Frank: I'm so happy to see your post!! Been thinking of you.
Take care.

Frank!!!!!!!!
So glad you're back!!!! I also cannot get on here with my iPad3 so I totally know what you mean about the technology issue. I know everyone is thrilled to hear from you!
Prayers continuing to go to you for successful chemo. I did not have to go through it, so I have no right to comment about "you look fine without hair" b/c I have not been through this. But all I can say is I know none of us cares how much hair you have, we're just glad you are with us and fighting :-)

Announcement for novena to OUR LADY of the MIRACULOUS MEDAL. Start Date: Wed NOV 14th-end date- Thurs. Nov 22nd which is Thanksgiving.
The novena is constructed already on the Catholic Archives page. As in the past all are welcome. All that were in the last novena to St perigrine will be moved forward. If you don't want to included in this novena ,please, PM me and I will remove your name.
The novena will also be added to the world wide Rosary thread.
The novena will only be on the archives thread, as it was too confusing updating both threads as people requested additions. Everyone will be notified by PM. If you know of someone that would like to be included , have them PM their intention Sheila

To all-----the first intention I modified to be from us all rather than from me . I had already mentioned storm victims , but added Sandy's name which was changed from storm. Please don't add words in your intentions for storm victims b/c it is in the first intention. Do dislike if this sounds preachy, but what i learned from the last two novenas was repeating the same intentions, when others hadn't read others intentions --extends the period of saying intentions. This may cause some to defer
OH Michelle , my Michelle reel me in if I'm wrong. I so wish I had, had this thought before notifying 70 some people.
You lovelies that come her will see this, but for those that don't, I will be answering allot of PM's with the same response. AHHHHHH live and learn----But as long as we accomplish the prayer , it will be done. Namaste sheila

Hi everybody,
So glad to hear from you again Frank. I kept popping in to check up on you and voila you are able to get online. That's a small technical issue, lol.
Regarding your ipad not being able to blog here, my husband said it could be your Safari browser. Look at it and see if the settings are correct. You must accept "cookies" and perhaps something else. Will blog again to let you know.
I also have great news about my onc's visit. I am NED and my next appointment is in 6 months.
I wanted to request Novena intentions about my job. Just want to ask for good health for family and smooth transactions and good numbers every month at work.
I would also like to ask for prayers for my sister, Irene, who is sliding into depression and simply going through too much stress with her husband's ill health. Irene needs help in all areas. She needs to think about herself first.
Thank you all and Namaste

hello sisters
just on for a minute testing my ipad which I got a friend to look at today. Checking that I can log in from ipad. Apparently the reason that you can not log onto certain websites is the original configuration of the site which means that some computers I.e. Apple or Dell etc. will not log onto them. However in my case it appears that some little adjustment needed carrying out on my ipad.
Take care.

I'm real glad to see you here Frank. I'll be glad for the novena too.

HI FRank Blessings
Dunes anything new for your intention?

Sas, I think I would just like my intention to be that we be filled with God's love. I really need Him to come into my heart and take the ache away.

Continued prayers for all. Such a pleasant suprise to see all the posters.
God bless each one of us as we continue this journey.
